Where do I even begin with this review - Being a designer myself, Anila is one of the most skilled designers I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I had a really short 3-month long engagement and my wedding dress required a very keen eye with a close attention to detail since it is covered head-to-toe in lace. My dress needed a complete overhaul because I had purchased it off the rack and it was far too big. Lucky for me, Anila squeezed me into her tight schedule and ensured she would have my dress completed within my timeframe. She wildly exceeded every expectation I had about my dress; NOT ONLY did she adapt the dress to fit my body and curves perfectly, she generously made me a veil as well. I had tears in my eyes as she brought it out, because in that moment I knew my bridal look was complete. I felt like a bride! A princess. The most beautiful I've ever felt. The veil even had some of the lace from my dress on the hair comb. This was easily a $ veil, that she made out of the kindness of her own heart and didn't charge me a cent for it. Anila has a heart of pure gold, and she genuinely cares about the women that come into her shop. I felt at ease knowing someone with passion and love for what they do had their hands on my dress. I believe that kind of energy weaves its way into the fabric, and sets the stage for the energy carried into the marriage. :) And with Anila, it's the loving and caring kind of energy. She has a maternal warmth that is so welcoming and genuine, but she is also a force to be reckoned with and does not hesitate to state her opinion when it comes to the design of your dress. Do not question what she does, just let her work her magic! You will not be disappointed. I would recommend her to any bride a million times over!!!! Thank you, Anila! You are the absolute best!

I’ve been here on several occasions and have always had positive experiences. Staff is always friendly and helpful. As someone fairly new to comics, sometimes stores can be overwhelming or feel “judgy”, and this is not one of them. Awesome collection, reasonably priced, and well organized! Enjoyed browsing through back issues and found many to add to my collection.

This cute 4 room Bed and Breakfast is locate very close to Main St in Manayunk where there are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. The room was very comfortable and clean and unique. Mark was a great host, starting with confirmation of when we would check in, advising us on parking (which can be tough but I found a space close by), organizing breakfast time and showing us all the amenities that the Manayunk Chamber House had to offer. Pack light as this Guest House is in an older house with a narrow staircase and the rooms split between the second and third floors. I would stay here again as the personal touch of good innkeepers beats the large format hotels.

I was gifted a spa day for Christmas from my boyfriend. I had such a great experience. Yatzaira was very welcoming and kind. As soon as I walked in, I heard the beach waves and smelled the oils. I felt immediately at ease. The massage chair felt amazing and the head and hand massage by Yatzaira was even better. I have sensitive skin and the face mask didn’t irritate my skin at all. I had an immediate glow. When I thought it couldn’t get better, I was guided to the hot tub. And then I ended my visit in the sauna. I will definitely be back to iBeach Club Spa very soon!

John was great to work with-- extremely professional, friendly, and helpful and willing to work with me on my repairing my bike while I was in the middle of an out-of-state move and often calling from out of town. He made sure everything was running properly and double checked when I was still having uncertainty about it. Happy to say it's running great now and has been a huge help to me! Very grateful for all of his help and would definitely recommend this shop!

Great place to hang out low key. Good finger foods, great hospitality, and welcoming setting. Travled min to get here and would do it again in a heart beat! Reasonable outing. BYOB. Literally have NO negatives about this place, they even accommodated us (a party of ) last minute. Couldn't be happier.

This was my first time getting headshots anywhere and so I was nervous as to what I was supposed to do but Aliza was so welcoming right away and let me know what the session would look like. She is a great communicator and so much fun to work with! She helped me choose poses and expressions while also letting my own creativity come out. She also played music and steamed my shirts for me so that the photographs came out perfectly!! Highly recommend her.

I cannot say enough good words about Dr. G. He is an excellent Chiropractor with great bedside manners. His treatments always gives me great relief from the back pain I experience on occasion. I recommend him highly to family and friends. Dr. G. is a rock star! BTW: Check out Dr. G's lovely assistant - Ms. Cleo. She is the best!

Rented a scooter for my daughter, who had surgery. Angelo was so professional and accommodating. They dropped off and picked up the scooter, which really helped. The scooter was perfect! My daughter was not embarrassed driving around on it. We got several compliments. Highly recommend this business. Thank you!

Chew Philly was my favorite part of my trip to Philly! First of all, the food is to die for! Add to that the knowledge of the tour guide and the welcoming friendly vibes of all the restaurant and shop owners and you have, hands down, the best thing to do while you are in Philly. First of all, the Schmitter at McNally’s Tavern knocked me off my feet. It was like a meaty kiss in the mouth. Full disclosure, I have a food allergy and cannot eat wheat. The tour guide, Elyse, made sure I got to experience something at all locations. There was also a vegetarian on the tour, and she was fully accommodated as well. Next we had cheese from the Chestnut Hill Cheese Shop. The owner and his wife made us all feel at home and described the decadent cheeses perfectly paired with a little sip of wine and a few laughs as well. Try that truffle cheese. It is the real deal. The olive oils and balsamic at A Taste of Olive next door were a welcome surprise. I have never tried olive oil like that before. Emma was knowledgeable and directed everyone to try various types and flavors. Highly recommend the Apricot White Balsamic. Next we stopped at the Market at the Fareway and had cider from Chestnut Hill Brewing Co. The gluten eaters were lucky to try some pizza, and I was very jealous to hear them rave about it. The chocolate truffle from Made by ME was a perfect dessert. But the real dessert was from Bredenbeck’s Ice Cream Parlor. Caramel ice cream with whipped cream and syrups was the perfect end to this tour. Overall, this well-organized, informative, and DELICIOUS tour is an efficient and enjoyable way to experience the real Philadelphia. The historical context along the way made all the food that much more enjoyable, plus the small, intimate tour size makes you feel like a VIP. Chew Philly is a must-try for locals and out-of-towners alike.

Recently married, my wife and I took her dress and my 3 piece suit here to get cleaned after our big day. Somehow, my wife's dress had gotten a pretty nasty red sauce stain on it. The owner let us know right away it would take some extra time to get the silver belt removed from the dress to clean it and then sew it back on. We were in no rush (not like she needed to wear it again any time soon) and a few weeks later the dress and suit both came back looking brand new. I highly recommend this place. He's definitely earned all the 5 star reviews on here!

The Tailory was recommended to me by the shop where I purchased my wedding gown and I could not be happier with my decision to take it there. My dress was a sample, so it needed a good amount of alterations. From start to finish Sara was fantastic to work with. She was very knowledgeable and it was evident the second we started speaking about my dress. Unfortunately, my husband and I were planning our wedding as Covid hit, so our day was postponed several times. Sara kept my dress safe and in perfect condition as we waited out the storm. Finally, we were able to do the final fitting and perfect the ( point!) bustle. From start to finish I knew my dress and I were in the best hands. Sara is a delight to work with, a kind soul, and an expert in her field. Her works speaks for itself!

I love the ring I bought! Wilson's Estate Jewelry had to size it up by over three sizes and you can't even tell. The sizing was also extremely fast and they offer overnight free delivery so I had my ring within a few days of ordering. They were very friendly and helpful during each interaction. The packaging it arrived in was lovely as well. Thank you for the great buying experience!

Sami is an amazing and very thoughtful person and it shows in his work. I had odd experiences in other stores when looking for a wedding band. It was an easy and pleasant experience talking to Sami about what I wanted done and he gave professional suggestions that came out beautifully. His prices are fair for the quality of work you are getting. I had two custom bands made and I can’t stop staring at how perfect my ring is!

I'm not one to drink liquor straight, but the gin is so smooth and easy to drink. The cocktails were delicious. This is without a doubt the best hidden gem in Manayunk. The owners were so welcoming and down-to-earth. We cannot recommend this place (and the gin) enough!
