I used to live within walking distance of this place. I chose it mostly out of convenience, but soon realized how exceptional the care here is. They have all of the high-tech equipment, and everyone that works here is top-notch. That's why I continue to go here, even after moving to Anaheim. Highly recommended.

I always order from Playa Del Rey Florist. The quality is always top notch. For Valentines Day I ordered my wife flowers and chocolates. There was a small mistake (nothing huge) in the order and I filled out the survey to let them know. Today we received a second order of flowers, chocolates, an apology note, an apology email and a personal call. WOW. I'm floored at the care and concern they showed for a customer. Now they have a customer for life. You should be too. I highly recommend Playa Del Rey Florist. You won't be disappointed.

Fast and organized household waste recycling center. I dropped off used cooking oil and it was easy. They take a lot of other household waste. Check their website. Promises west was absolutely incredible! The quality of the cards were great and the experience was fantastic. I’m so happy we didn’t go with Etsy and we went with a true professional to tell us what to do and more specifically what not to do. I will be using Promises West for all events I do going forward (and the price was very reasonable). Take a look at my wedding invites, they were amazing!

Meg and Marjorie were very helpful when I purchased Kangen Water. I use it everyday to wash my hands, face, when I’m cooking and when I need the cleanest purified water. It has a very pure/ sweet taste to it. It even helps when Removing stains! Thank you to Meg and Marjorie for helping me invest in a life long journey of clean water !

Our whole family loves Nature’s Toppers fruit sauces!! We use them everyday - in oatmeal, on toast, in yogurt! It’s the perfect addition!

We were in LA for a month staying just a block away and found this spot. When Peter, one of the owners, gave me my initial consult, he asked me what I wanted to work on. I told him that my partner absolutely loves working out but I don't get it, I am more of a yoga and dance person, so I wanted to better understand what he loves so much about the gym. Well, one month later, going here every single weekday, I really loved it and wish there was one just like it back where we live in SF. What I love is they have a great system of semi-privates and group classes. There is a great mix of variety and personalization. I felt like I got familiar with a lot of different types of workouts, felt a lot more comfortable in the gym, made progress and felt great after every class. The best part are the trainers. They are not only knowledgeable but are really fun and awesome. Seeing them everyday made me feel like they were our LA tribe. Jesse is so funny and always makes me laugh! We love James' circuit burn and dynamic mobility. Peter and Lucho, the owners are both super great. And John has endless positive vibes. I highly recommend this gym, and totally get why they have only 5 star reviews on Yelp!

It has been my incredible good fortune to work with Jon on my taxes for the better part of the last decade. Jon has a robust knowledge of every facet of tax code, and should he ever have a question or uncertainly, he is quick to find his answer. He is also incredibly personable. Tax season is a stressful time with everyone, but when I meet with Jon, we typically make time to catch up from the past year and recommend books and TV shows to each other. It always leaves me with the feeling that I am Jon's only client and he has all the time in the world for me, even though I know he is incredibly busy. I cannot underscore enough how welcoming Jon is. As the years have gone by and my tax return has gotten more complicated, Jon has always been at the ready with advice on what to do to gain the most benefit on my tax return. Of course, he is always correct. Jon has won my trust for life and I am proud to be his client.

Lovely owners Lily and Dennis— their mani/pedi services are my favorite in town. They’re very thoughtful with painting and give a great massage. Also always Covid-safe, my mom and I love this place

My son is five years old and just starting to learn to play piano. His teacher Devin has been very patient working through the wiggles and goldfish attention span of an active little boy, and after several months of weekly lessons my son has gone from zero formal musical knowledge whatsoever to being able to read basic sheet music. He can now sit down in front of a piece he's never seen before and plunk it out on the piano with minimal help. We're very impressed with how far he's come!

I don’t even know where to begin. I have never had such an amazing experience with headshots as this one! The whole team is fabulous! Kathy took all the careful time and attention needed to get the best results, keeping in mind how these headshots would be used to best set me up for success. When they say they want to show your range, they mean it! We did all the looks she thought would show my range in age and versatility as an actor, and it was truly tailored to me and my needs. I never felt rushed on time or pressure to just get them done. She made sure to take all the time and attention needed to make this a quality session. It’s also very important for me to note that this was a very collaborative experience. She made sure to show me the pictures as we went along in the session, asking me if they looked like me. That was very important to her and I’m so grateful for that. I also brought a ton of clothes, as I had been told before by other photographers that I didn’t have good clothes for my pictures, and she helped me to pick some out, BUT she asked me what I liked first and foremost, what my favorites were. That was also something I wasn’t really used to, but I can tell it made a huge different in me feeling comfortable and the best results coming out. So the combination of it being a collaboration where my voice was heard and important, along with her sharing her wisdom and thoughts as I’m new to Los Angeles is just incredibly priceless. She did my hair and makeup too and it was great! Really I can just go on and on about how amazing it was!! I met her son and daughter who work with her and they were lovely as ever. And Gabe, their editor, was kind, lovely, and did an amazing job getting my retouches back the day after I spoke with him!! You will for sure walk out feeling like you hit gold, because you did!! I have been living for the past 2 years at a gated apartment property right near the border of Santa Monica and West LA. What I can say is that every single time I have texted the landlord, I have received an answer back within minutes MAX. This includes texting the property staff at 8pm on Friday and receiving a response almost immediately on account of a clogged sink. The landlord provides landscaping services and the property is power washed every month. Its by far the cleanest complex I have lived in through my time renting in Santa Monica. I cannot stress enough that the property staff is available all the time. This is refreshing from past landlords who were very slow to respond to my requests. I am specifically very happy that the apartment complex is fully gated and secure which makes me feel safe at night when I go to bed. Overall I would give the property management a out of and I am very happy I chose the right renting agency.

Okay so I just got off the phone with this wonderful and incredibly helpful woman, Jackie, and while I found and use this place via anytime mailbox (which is a different rating and review, please check out any reviews before you take this as a review for them because like I just said, it is not, this is strictly for Jackie and for playa place!) so I was having a problem with my anytime mailbox, and Jackie was not only a upbeat and joy to talk with on the phone, even with the issue at hand. She is a stellar active listener and I feel confident that my issue is on its way to being resolved. She definitely did all she could in her position. Being one whose worked in customer service for a better of not most part of my entire working career, it’s unfortunate that I don’t see or experience the same level of customer care that I am proud to provide my clientele. Jackie was a breath of fresh air as she showed me the wonderful equivalent of my own customer service style with her attentiveness and assurance. She definitely deserves a raise and paid vacation and a freaking company car!!! as she handled this issue with no doubt top notch service. Thank you so much Jackie! I really appreciate the peace of mind you have provided for me today! Thank you a billion!
