The location is amazing as it is in the center of Manhattan. The staff are always there to assist and help. The small and cozy cabins are very clean and have just what you need as a solo traveler. Breakfast is included but very limited. There is no elevator, which means people with huge bags and people with disabilities might struggle going up the stairs.
A really nice hostel in a great location close to Central Park and the Natural History Museum. My favourite part was the staff who were all so friendly and welcoming, but the common room is a very cool place to hang out too!
This place is a hidden GEM! My daughter is currently staying there for school. The nuns take care of "their girls"! They make the ladies feel like home. Family style meals, get togethers, and caring staff, I couldn't ask for more for my daughter. God bless you for providing a safe environment for young ladies!
Excellent hostel and small onsuite room. Everything was clean and cozy, though having a street facing room was a little noisy overnight. Service was excellent, coffee cups were well appreciated, and company of other world travellers was fun. I just wish breakfast started earlier than 7: as it's not useful for going to the office later.
Hostels are always interesting, and this one was no exception. They ask that you take your shoes off at the front. I stayed in a female room with two bunk beds. everyone was very nice and welcoming and the common room was clean and well decorated. There is a tv, games, and computers available for leisure or to get work done; as well as a full kitchen. the waffles available in the morning were delicious. Definitely worth the price if you aren't squeamish about sharing space and being social with strangers.
The Farrington staff was wonderfully pleasant and accommodating. Very conveniently located with off street parking. I will definitely be staying there again when I need a place in the area.
I promised the guy at the front desk (I think he was a manager?) that I would leave an honest review of my stay at Viajero Hostel in Miami Beach, so here it goes. I've stayed in + hostels around the world, and by far, this is one of the best. They recently opened in December , so everything is very new and clean. Beds were great, mattresses, pillows, clean crisp sheets, showers and bathrooms looked like a high-end hotel. Lobby is a great atmosphere. Library for remote-working where I stayed can get crowded, but it's still an awesome space. Pool and bars are fantastic too. You definitely have to be a bit more on the outgoing side to meet people here, but if you're capable of creating your own atmosphere, it's fantastic. Location is the best - literally you cannot beat this location, it is absolutely perfect, a 2 min walk from the beach and surrounded by all the best restaurants, shops, bars, etc. Everything you need is within a 2 min walk from here. I stayed for a week and a half, but easy could have stayed for a month. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating - some of the best staff I've encountered in a hostel. I'll definitely be back - thanks again Viajero Hostel!
