Chris Allen was recommended to us from 2 unrelated people. We hired Chris to renovate our kitchen and could not be more pleased with the result. They moved walls, reworked electrical plumbing and flooring, replaced cabinets/drywall/trim/wainscot and installed appliances. The project went by quicker than we anticipated, and progress did not slow as it neared completion. We were impressed at how quickly Chris responded to “the last 5%” to get the project closed out to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Chris and his team. They are all respectful professionals who communicate well and do great work.

Great place! I am glad I found this hardwood place. Very knowledgeable staff and very helpful. They are excellent at getting you what you need and you can find wood that is finished on multiple sides making it easier if you don't have a jointer or planer. You can buy what you need when you need it (very helpful if you don't have a truck). I was able to find everything I needed to build a crib and what they didn't have, they got in.

We had Jesus and his father paint almost our entire interior of the house. This took almost 2 weeks, with replacing all the trim, painting the ceilings and walls. The painting itself looks amazing, but the fact that every single day they made sure to touch base with us to give us an eta, they also took the time to clean up after themselves. And to the fact that when they completed the job, it was almost like they never had even been here. Everything was uncovered, cleaned and moved back. I would recommend these guys to absolutely anyone. Well worth the money. Not a single complaint about this company.

Evolutia has the most beautiful wood for interior design I have ever seen. Having been affiliated with the construction business for over years I remember a time you could not find the exotic woods that now are only a selection away at the Evolutia location in Birmingham, AL. For anyone wanting to use unusual wood that is truly recycled this is the place to go! Reasonable prices for what you get too; not for bargain hunters but rather for the discriminating buyer who understands the value and beauty of antique wood.

We love, love , love our 2” walnut conversion varnish countertops. They far exceeded our expectations. They are feet of beautiful WOW factor added to our remodeled kitchen. They are easy to keep clean. We just make sure we don’t directly cut on it ( use cutting boards) , or put anything hot directly on it ( trivets). The customer service was attentive and responsive to our questions. We highly recommend Walnut Works!
