Hands down, one of the best restaurants in NYC. From the outside it may just look like a small cafe, but in addition to espresso, Cafe Ubani has an expansive menu of incredible Georgian cuisine. The flavors and textures are Michelin-star-worthy! We had the beet salad, cauliflower with walnut cream, cheese boat (essential!) and dumplings. These dishes were so delicious because they had authentic flavors. Our amazing server (who is one of the owners) said the spices are so unique to Georgia that they have them imported directly from there - and if they don’t have the spice one day, then they don’t make the dish. They never compromise. I’ve been to other places where cheese boats are served and they’re so Americanized that you feel sick when you leave. Not here. Cafe Ubani does it beautifully! The cheese to bread balance is perfect. I left feeling satisfied and comfortable. To top things off, we finished with the honey cake which was by far one of the best desserts I have had in years. I am already planning to go there for my birthday in April to have that cake again. Their pastry chef is amazing — whoever they are! The service was fantastic, too. We really were amazed by our experience.
One of THE BEST vegan restaurants in all of NYC hands down! This was my second time visiting and I brought my sister who is not vegan. We were both stunned as to how the food was all vegan as it just tastes like the most amazing pasta we have ever had vegan or not! I am vegan and I wish all vegan restaurants were this good! The ambience is fantastic and overall you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. My personal favorite is the carrot top pesto gnocchi and their extensive wine bar collection. ❤️
Legendary spot : This is the 'cafe racer' spot to beat them all. Feels right at home on the foothills of the Manhattan bridge. Open, bright, and airy. The space strikes a marbelous balance between art and motorcycles, along with all the various fluids that keep those things going. It's a venue space yet it's a workspace. It's a place to meet and commune with other petroheads, artists & friends. That is after all, the very spirit of the cafe; –"If once the place of the sacred was the church, now it was the café, or the art Salon".
Very fresh and tasty food. Both Thai and American vegan menus. Interesting mixture for sure. Very friendly staff too! Definitely coming back.
I placed an order through Uber Eats. I got the vegan kimchi Bao bun, the vegan impossible Banh mi and the vegan chocolate cake. They were all spectacular. The vegan chocolate cake is the best one I’ve had! It was very moist and sweetness was just spot on. The delivery was pretty good too! I loved the Banh Mi as well very flavorful and the flavor was exceptional! Can’t say more good things about the food. Will definitely order from here again.
Remember when Juice Press was cool? And served fresh (non-pasteurized) juices? And had an edge to their marketing and told the food establishment selling processed unhealthy foods to go f itself? Remember when you had confidence in their organic integrity? Remember when they didn't sell animal products? Well you don't have to remember anymore. Instead, you can come to Goodsugar and not have to reminisce because Goodsugar does things the right way - organic, vegan, gluten-free, no refined sugars and no single-use plastic. The food is outstanding, the juices better than ever and the environment is full of positive vibes with happy employees and great music!
The perfect langos !! I’m from Hungary so if someone… I really know what we call langos! Sometimes I make it at home for my family. We also use sour cream and cheese on the top, but my favorite with the garlic ketchup & cheese (I find it in here) ! I had a Czech langos yesterday with my friend, my hubby tried the caprese, booth was WOW ! Perfectly made! We gonna return back on the weekend with more Hungarian friends. They have dumpling stuffed with fruits that’s a very yummy European dessert. Try it! This little spot did a great job! I was full all evening, and still…. 😊
That was seriously one of the best meals I have had in so long. It tasted like all the things I wish I could make for myself but don’t have the time or ability to. It was healthy but didn’t lack any of the flavor that typically healthier options in the city do. The pineappled sweet potato’s and miso glazed vegetables were out of this world, and the Onsen egg was so delicious poured on top of the dish. / will be back ASAP! The owner was so kind and passionate as well! This is truly a unique and delicious spot
The employees are soooooo friendly. It really nice to sit and eat. The vibe is niccce. The burgers are fresh and tasty. Not greasy at all. It’s a veggie burger spot combined with a Thai restaurant. 2 menus, one kitchen. The Thai tea is delicious. Not too sweet like most places. So many options to eat, drink and dessert!
Walking by this wonderful urban food space I chose grains for lunch. The menu items are fresh, raw, organic and original. Chose the cauli salad and added salmon - SO GOOD! The line moves quickly- the staff behind the counter are friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back. Added a beer from a nearby bar for a little kick to the day!
If you can make it for the Weekend Brunch (pm) by all means do so. The Steak & Eggs were well presented and tasty. The service was excellent. They also have a cocktail called COVID Vaccine (the FDA may not have given it Emergency Use Authorization but I did for myself). With fine desserts like Panna Cotta and Wood Fired Pizza available, children can enjoy coming here as much as adults.
Out of this world good and a must stop on the Lower East Side! Gluten free deep fried pickles! Fabulous sauces. Crispy fries that were soaked in pickle brine, tastes like salt and vinegar potato chips. Get the Reuben eggroll! Tacos made with Impossible Meat. Love this place
I love going to the food stand every time I visit in New York. The best falafel sandwich I've ever had. Every time I go there is always a long line but it moves quickly. They serve the best food!
We were craving for Korea food and Me Mista Oh popped up with few but wonderful reviews. The decor is modern and bright with artsy furniture & cozy ambiance. The staff was super friendly and introduced their dishes in details. We visited on Halloween and they wore the costume from Squid Game, which was amusing. There was also the sugar game from the drama available, and if customers clear the challenge, they can get free soju. The options on the menu weren’t in a huge variety but pretty decent with signature dishes. We had Galbi which came with rice & soup and Seafood Pancake to share with a group of two. The portion was great and we even did some take-out for our next meal. Their BBQ was amazingly delicious, well-grilled, tender and super juicy. The pancake was also decent with plenty of ingredients. Our only complaint would be their complimentary sides because the flavor was not really our type.
forever yours coffee and falafel is a true gem of uptown. I got the veggie breakfast sandwich, and for eight dollars, it is enough for two people! Absolutely delicious and completely filling. All the employees are incredibly kind. I will be coming back for lunch very soon!
Amazing food!!! I crave for good vegan food made with simple ingredients, and this place has lots of options for someone like me. I have tried a few bowls, wraps and beverages and everything was awesome. I sincerely wish they succeed and spread all over.
This place is here for more than years and overall place is good if you want to eat home made Punjabi food and Indian snacks. I ordered large bowl of rice with 3 vegetables which includes sarso ka saag, chole and Cudi. Taste was really good and felt like food was prepared in India. Apart from that I ordered aloo paratha too and taste was okay maybe because the time I finished rice bowl it became cold. But overall good experience and the owner was very friendly.
