I had a issue about a preorder that was pretty upsetting. However, the staff here went beyond and resolved the issue like I have never seen in a big or small business. The thought and customer service was in tandem to something you would receive from a high-end retailer, in this case I would highly recommend this place to collectors or causal enthusiast as their selection is vast and you could always preorder with confidence! I’m impress how a small business restored my confidence in this business model and I can respect the heck out of their service. long live the Fat Gandalf!
I always have a good experience at Half Price Books. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Today I was able to get my grandson a small plush toy and board book for his birthday. Also found a cute Japanese character tshirt for my daughter. I went for and found some Japanese language books for myself. I'm a beginner, so I'm always on the lookout for easy books to practice reading. Hint: if you're looking for foreign language books, don't forget to check out the kids section. Occasionally they will have age appropriate books in that particular language, not just in the general foreign language section. I got a manga book from the Japanese language shelf in the foreign books section. I also got the Japanese short shory/picture book in Japanese in the kids section on the shelf categorized as "foreign languages". From what I could tell they have kids books in Spanish(biggest selection) , German, French, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and a few other languages. Even a Euro-Asian language that -according to my Google Translate app appears to be Gunjati(?). But of course books are always coming and going so you never know what foreign language book treasures you will find in the kids section so don't forget to check that out in addition to the general foreign language section, if you are looking for books to practice your language learning skills.
Holy smokes, a Barnes&Noble! They still exist! Talk about nostalgia. You can't beat the smell of books and coffee. I miss being able to walk around in a book store, instead of having to browse online. It's a much better experience, and this from someone who hates shopping. I like to read the first couple pages of a book to know if I'll like it, and sometimes I'll skip a couple chapters to see if that improves my opinion, but you can't always do that online. I'd like for them to improve their board game section, but overall not a bad find.
I love movie trading company, I always will! Through them my wife and I experienced the series Smallville, Monk and many horror classics. Support your local movie trading store and come on by...plus the guy who opened the store on Saturday was all alone and very stressed, so please, apply now to help him.
Wild West Comics and Games is your one stop shop for role playing game books, board games, miniatures, paint, comics, graphic novels and much more. I was impressed by the selection of miniatures for sale. When purchasing some miniatures, such as elven ranger or human barbarian, you actually receive two per package. There was a huge selection of dragons, monsters like displacer beast and beholder, as well as miniatures to add flare to your campaign like wizard's study items and even magic dias. As I said, the selection is huge so what ever you need in your D&D collection you could surely find here. I asked an associate about game nights and was told that they would begin again soon and possibly play D&D 4th edition. I asked about Magic and was told that they would not be hosting that any time soon. All-in-all, I enjoyed my firsr visit here. I can definitely see myself coming back to make a purchase. I would suggest making a trip to Wild West Comics and Games to anyone I know that is looking for a comics and games store!
Never stop by there but I wanted to ck it out glad i did i got alot of toys in mind for me and the gkids loved this place customer service was great service with a smile thanks for the good memories
Such a lovely build a bear location! The store is bright and clean with a lot of “bears” to choose from!! Jasper was friendly and he helped check us out in a timely manner and was so kind throughout the whole process! Leslie was a wonderful help and it was so fun to watch the bear get made. I definitely recommend this location, the staff are super friendly and very sweet! 💕🧸
My girlfriend is like bug to bug. Light for tbis place we bought grand kids gifts kids gifts n love going there. There selection of LED lights is her favorite I personally love the toys and candy....
This store moved from behind Sam Moon into a new store front. For as busy as they are the store was very well maintained. The staff and manager were very welcoming and helpful. The only.isdue is the sun coming thru the front if the store, it is blinding to cashiers and customers (as shown in the pictures) as the sun sets corporate should take care of this quickly. This is a store the exemplifies what Tuesday Morning used to be and us slowly becoming again.
Not what I expected! I can't describe what I thought the store carried, but a family member recommended I check it out. I took my daughter with me and we found a ton of really neat toy options. Many of the items were half the price of what we could find elsewhere. My 6 year old loved the selections so much that I decided to make this my new "incentive" store to reward her. Besides the kids toys section, I was impressed with the kitchen items, bedding selection, and lots of other home items. The shelves were all stocked well. Since we drive by this place multiple times each week, I anticipate we will stop in regularly. Plenty of parking and the location is relatively easy to access.
