We took this tour with the owner Bjoern 7 years ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it! Tried it again Saturday, and it was just as great with Captain Joel! We definitely won't wait so long for our third trip! Joel (and Bjoern previously) were excellent - knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly! This has to be the best boat tour in NYC!

Captain David was the ultimate host and Tara (the boat) is absolutely beautiful! I did the 4th of July sail and I couldn't have had a better experience. David did a great job positioning the boat so we had a great view of the fireworks the entire show. David is extremely skilled and knowledgeable. We felt safe the entire time we were on the water. I look forward to using him again for my next manhattan sail.

I cannot recommend the Original Greenwich Food Tour enough! We were running late due to the subway and missed the first stop, but we were able to call the number given to us in our confirmation email and the front office was very helpful in giving us over-the-phone directions to get directly to our group. Our tour guide, Marie, was amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, the historical buildings, and the food. EVERYTHING that we tasted was delicious -- we wouldn't have even known to seek these restaurants out without the tour. We really enjoyed that the groups were smaller, and we met some new friends in the other members of our tour! Anyone visiting New York (or locals looking for something fun to do outside of their normal routine) should do their best to make the Greenwich Tour a priority!

Captain Eric was fantastic! From the beginning, he was put my mind at ease with his thorough h communication. I knew we were in good hands. On the boat, the experience was even better than I imagined! Captain Eric was an excellent tour guide, he had many interesting facts about sailing, and the local sights. We had good wind so Eric put up the sails and we got to have a full sailing experience. My friends and I left the boat with smiles plastered on our faces for days! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Our trip consisted of three separate facilities, one in Tanzania and two in Kenya. The quality of our accommodations was world class 5 star with over the top service. We saw the big 5 and more over and over again…. Amazing. We experienced the Masi culture up-close and it blew us away. Finally, we had a problem with customs in Tanzania as my wife had a false positive Covid test. It was a nightmare and I will spare you the details. However, and to this I am dead serious PAY ATTENTION!, without Roar Africa using its local clout and navigating the highest levels of government we would have been stuck for ten days in horrendous conditions. Only Roar Africa not a USA based agent could have pulled this off and forced a second and third test proving negative results to free us from government control. Reserve Secret City Scavenger Hunts! Jared and his team are wonderful! The entire process from booking to event date ran smoothly and stress free with open communication at all times. Highly recommend Secret City especially for a corporate office team building event. Our corporate office had tons of fun. The clues were challenging, creative and kept us on our toes. We are looking forward to our next hunt soon!

Laurie was a fabulous guide for our Brooklyn Tour. The food stops were all top notch. The history and pop culture included was interesting and Laurie’s charming personality and fun sense of humor made the tour a highlight of our trip to NYC. Highly recommend ! P.S. Kudos to our driver who managed the crazy traffic and squeezed our cozy bus through some mighty tight double parking situations..

Uncle Jeffery was amazingly entertaining and knowledgeable. I was astounded by the sheer amount of things to know about the Statue of Liberty and New York. Uncle Jeffery is a national treasure and we need more amazing guides like him educating tourists about our country. This is a great program.
