The lady. Was so. Nice to met her on fruitridge at the extramile it's me the security guard you have the best banana pudding I've had in years I wish u all the success and I bought puddings
I told my children when they were little that if they learned a foreign language I would send them to visit a country where that tounge was spoken when they reached high school age. Three of my six children learned French and they all chose Paris for their reward destination. I visited Cafe Rolle with one of two sons who have visited France on more than one occasion. They all grew up exposed to French cuisine at home and fell in love with the country and it's food once they visited there. When I discovered Cafe Rolle I couldn't wait for my next trip to Sacramento to check it out. I was not disappointed. Located in a small strip center in a mostly residential area, Cafe Rolle is an incredible find. I ate at a different restaurant on the other side of the street the week before and noticed this place. It was closed then, but being a lover of French food I vowed to come back. This is so close to eating at a cafe or bistro in France the difference isn't worth mentioning. The delicious bread is half baked locally and finished at the restaurant as needed. The menu is both casual and at the same time, elegant. Almost everything is house-made, from the salad dressing to the pate. I had the Foie Gras Monsieur Sandwich and it was FANTASTIC! All of the dishes that my table ordered were spot-on perfect. Our waiter, a tall guy with a deep booming baritone voice, was very good. While I was chatting with him the owner (and chef) joined in and we talked for several minutes. What a great, friendly, and colorful guy! I have a new best friend. I told him that I come to Sacramento weekly for cancer treatments and he said, "Great! You can come back often". I love that guy!
Great customer service, and clean store.
Not your typical grocery store. I've been shopping at Oto's when they were further down the road. They carry many Asian foods and seasonal produce. There is no better quality than what you will find here. Everything from dishes to green tea ice cream. A wonderful shopping experience.
This place is the opposite of pretentious. No attempt to have hip decor. Nothing feels fancy. The service is friendly, polite, and straight to the point. The food is delicious. I have always been happy with everything that I have tried. Hope to have to foresight to reserve some ribs some lucky Wednesday. The selection of beverages is impressive.
Love the wonton beef noodle it was really delicious. Affordable price and excellent customer service. The rib with eggplant was delicious but a little bit too oily. But it was still really good in my opinion. Clean environment. Highly recommended this location and will definitely be back here again!
I drive by this place all the time. Today I decided to stop in and give them a try. Was greeted by a very nice woman behind the counter. She made the sandwich I ordered all while carrying on in a very friendly conversation. I got my steak and cheese sandwich to go which tasted great. Nice little gem of a place. I will be back for sure.
Hot Blonde Panini was 🔥 I’m normally not a fan of chicken sammys but this one was delicious. The spread and veggies were enough to where you could taste each ingredient but it wasn’t overpowering. The fries were amazing! Pretty sure their ranch is homemade because it did not taste like your regular ranch - I would buy the hell out of it. Highly recommend this place!
While visiting Sacramento for work, we’re always looking for the hole in the wall, locally owned, places to eat. This place is a Jem! The food was better than what we read and Jerry was there!! In the time it took us to get our orders, he has us smiling and laughing with him. Very authentic guy!! I will be coming back for sure next time with me and my crew!!
Excellent selection of sandwiches and other Vietnamese delights. Excellent French bread, good fast service. They open at 7:am to 7:pm. Been coming here for 5 years and never had any problems. The lines due to covid are seamless. A must stop if your in the area. Highly recommended.
Excellent place for Crepes, with plenty of selections to choose from. Service was on point. Nice and clean interior. They're also serving alcohol as well, but since we were there for brunch, i didn't get to see what kind of alcohol selections they offer. Saw a bunch of wine bottles on display. Plenty of parking in the lot outside.
Ok, so my boyfriend brought me here as we are staying in a cute little Airbnb. He had the hogs and rocks (clams) and I had the Pulpo Gallego…. Both were melt in your mouth to die for! Both highly recommended by the staff. I also ordered the Frickles… highly highly recommend! Big thanks to Sarah for made the experience. If you get the opportunity to have her as a server, you won’t be dissatisfied. Menu changes seasonally.
Always a great lunch! Amazing quality. Yummy soups and salads with local fresh ingredients. Always stop here when in Sacramento for work.
The staff is welcoming & accommodating. Always a great sandwich! I always get the the Santa Cruz on garlic bread, warmed up. They start with the freshest bread & avocado, best bacon & pastrami & the cream cheese is so smooth. It come with you choice of tomatoes, onions & pepperoncinis built with care so you get a little of each in every bit.
Really love this place. local, great taste, cheese bread is killer. I only wish they would cook their pizzas a bit longer because it tends to be undercooked in the middle, making all the (delicious) toppings slide off. other than that, % recommend. support local!
Omg!!!! Just what I needed on this long rainy day. Debbie and Ken are an amazing pair with an amazing business. The food was great . Finger linking good! I live an hour away and I will come all the way back for this meal. The chicken curry, patties, oxtail, rice and peas was so amazing!
Just came in to pick up an online order! The service was great and the pizza looks amazing! Thanks again for the chicken bacon artichoke pizza and the pepperoni pizza!
One of Sacramento's best-known dining establishments. I've been here multiple times and it never disappoints. There's a wide variety of interesting and delicious New American dishes available, plus some yummy cocktails and killer appetizers (try the mac and cheese or especially the french fry trio). We had some great service on our last visit as well. Highly recommended! Choose between the large outdoor patio (yes there are heaters) or the spacious and trendy dining room. It's fairly popular so get reservations for peak nights. Street parking only, but keep driving around and you'll eventually find a meter.
Good food at a fair price. The restaurant is clean and seems to be well managed. Food always comes out fast and hot. Online ordering via the app is a snap. Employees seem very friendly. There is a bit of inconsistency with how well done the food is cooked but it is to be expected with a fast food chain.
