Taiwanese Restaurants near me in New York, New York, US.

"Wow! Amazing fried dumplings. Great for a snack or a meal if you’re not too hungry. Very well balanced and delicate. Worth waiting the 10-15 minutes they take to fry them. Only $7!"

"Great neighborhood bubble tea shop. Got the oolong milk tea and passion fruit tea with jelly. Both drinks were not overly sweetened, which is what I normally prefer in my drinks. Passion fruit tea was wonderfully fragrant. Jelly wasn't too hard and just soft enough to slurp through the straw. Will be back to try more flavors."

"Four Four South is a great addition to the neighborhood. I’ve been a couple times already, both in person and for takeout and I always finish my meal very satisfied. The braised beef noodle soup is a classic and my most frequent order. I recommend the beef wrap because the beef comes wrapped in a crispy scallion pancake and is delicious."

"Great bubble tea with great service. Staff is nice and friendly. Decor is cute and bubble tea is refreshing."

"As a Taiwanese, I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for something delicious and classic. Also, the owner there is really friendly and nice. You will not regret to visit here frequently."

"Delicious Taiwanese food — generous portions, high quality food and good prices. I appreciated the kind and prompt service. I would recommend for lunch in the neighborhood."

"We popped into Baohaus in the middle of the afternoon and it wasn’t busy at all. Service was very quick - we ordered one of each bao, plus taro fries. This food... my god is it good, particularly the Spiceland bao, which I didn’t expect to be so complex. And the taro fries left me wishing that more places had taro fries. The overall vibe of the place is also great - it’s very small but has a lot of personality. I would probably fly up to NYC again just to eat here, that’s how much I loved these little sandwiches."

"Every taiwanese specialty dish here is great NGL. But my all time favorite was the pork belly bowl. They give a good amount of pork belly! In other places the pork belly isn't sufficient, but here the pork bowl is so flavorful! 🤯 The pork belly is in pieces but that spreads the flavor around to each bite with the rice in each spoonful. Normally I'd prefer bigger pieces of pork belly but this dish worked very well as it is, each bite was just enough flavour and meat, the jammy marinated egg helps spread more umami goodness throughout... Okay my pork belly love poetry serenade is over.😂 Now onto the Taiwanese spicy beef noodle. It's very customizable, in that you can choose spicy non-spicy or whatever spiciness level you desire. And you can have rich bone marrow broth! They also have soy milk sweet, the sweet kind and savory... For whoever likes that.. In case you need to save yourself from the spice 😉😏😋🥵🔥😂 Chili wontons are a good time. Oh and the broth mixed with the pork belly bowl is a good idea. FYI 😉😏🤤 Oh by the way I usually hate those daikon or radish cakes... Growing up asian... But this place made me change my mind about radish cakes... I'll only have them here tho lol ."

"Delicious and affordable. What else more can you ask for? I came here with a pretty large group of friends for a Sunday lunch. It was pretty crowded, but we were seated in a relatively timely manner. The pork chops were super flavorful and really reminded me of the lunch spots you can find in Taiwan. Makes sense that they'd include "pork chop" in their name! We also tried their green onion pancakes, which were surprisingly super deep fried. I've never had green onion pancakes so crispy or oily before. I didn't mind the oiliness, but someone who isn't into that kind of foods might not appreciate it as much. The restaurant is in Chinatown surrounded by all sorts of other delicious foods, desserts, and drinks. Despite the overwhelming number of choices you have here, I would recommend this place if you're craving Taiwanese food!"

"Tasty Taiwanese-American fusion food. Not the place to go if you’re expecting authentic, traditional Taiwanese cuisine. The dishes here have an American twist, but they are delicious in their own way, especially the pork belly rice. I also recommend trying the Taiwan flavored beer if you’ve never had it before."

"The best place in Manhattan. The best the best!.!.! Came back since I could not forget the taste of the soup. Soup, Bun, dried noodle, rice bowl are all delicious. Plentiful amount of delicious beef in this amazing price."

"The braised pig feet bowl came with braised pig ear, black rice cake, seaweed and braised egg. It is very delicious and full of umami. The meat is very tender and almost melting in the mouth. It’s also nice that you can pick your own toppings for a DIY braised bowl."

"This place is amazing great place and great food . It's a little bit of a wait but it's worth it to get a fresh and cooked to perfection type of meal . And the guy who took my order the nicest person you would meet . I had the beef fried rice pork bun and shrimp shumai . The best I ever had"

"Haven’t been here to this exact location in four years. So glad I came back! My partner and I got two orders of the Mimi Cheng and the Pork and Chive dumplings! Both were as delicious as I remembered! Seriously so glad to see that they’ve stayed open during this past year! Service was top notch as well!"

"This food shop has really awesome food. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken is to die for I love it. Boba tea is delicious and the Bao is really good. I am Taiwanese and the food here is authentic as it can be. The mice pork over rice ru rou is soooo gooood. ♥️"

"Wow. I am addicted to this place. Their rice rolls are great - warm, tasty, and cheap. I got hooked by their rice over milk tea and wondering what it was, but after the first try I cannot believe I never had this thing earlier. It combines the best over carbs and milk tea. And guess what, their milk tea tastes like actual TEA. Not like those artificially flavored industrial produced milk tea. So yeah — try it out. Rice over milk tea, it’s my summer."

"Despite having to drive anywhere from 30-45 minutes to enjoy them, Mimi Cheng’s dumplings are without question, the best dumplings I’ve ever had! They’re incredibly fresh, the portion size is perfect and the excitement of wondering what next month’s special flavor will be is hard to compete with. My personal favorite are the Emmy Burger dumplings!"

"Best dumplings we’ve had in NYC! My wife is vegetarian, so she had the Veggie #2 dumplings and absolutely loved them. I had the pork & chives and they were amazing. Highly recommend!"

"Called ahead on a Sunday night to try and grab a table for 3. We were able to get a table about a hour later and are so glad we did! The fries and fried chicken were great apps. And we got the 886 noodles and pork belly rice. Both very very solid renditions of Taiwanese classics. Will definitely try and come back to try the other dishes"

"The amount of choices for food and drinks is vast! The food taste amazing, and the shaved ice is so good!! This is a must try place if you're every around the neighborhood. Wonderful and friendly staff and the inside of the store is super cute and cozy"
