Very well organized martial arts facility that teaches discipline, perseverance, and physical education. Red tiger is a great place to learn taekwondo for all ages and all backgrounds. Master Marcello is a very welcoming, funny and great instructor who is bound to have a great relationship with any student he comes across
Over years ago I stepped into my first martial arts class that was held in the basement of a South Philadelphia church. The instructor of that class was Zhang Sah's founder, Sal Sandone. The instruction that I received while a student of his laid the foundation for what has become a passion of mine for over two decades. I still utilize principles that were taught to me during my days as a fresh white belt.
My daughter started here about a month ago and loves it! The teachers are great with the children. They are humorous and continually encourage the children through positive reinforcement. Classes are so much fun that time flies by quickly for the children. With earning stripes, my daughter is motivated to learn and looks forward to each class. Whenever she earns a new stripe, her self esteem is boosted. It’s a such a wonderful feeling as a parent, when you see your child smiling from ear to ear and proud of what they are accomplishing. I highly recommend.
There Masters are professional and very kind to everyone. My kid love this place.
I'm writing this review as a past student as well as past student instructor. I've only left the school since after finishing college and moving away from the area. I first started at the school when I was about years old. I had started martial arts at another martial arts school, however, we wanted to give UTA a try and see how the program differed. I instantly fell in love with the community of parents, students, and instructors and signed up for the year. I started off as a brown belt because I had several years of experience at another school. I thought this was great because for most kids it would have been dis-encouraging to start over from a white belt. Anyway, fast forward a little less than a year, I started to volunteer as a student instructor. The school provided a lot of opportunities to me as young leader, especially, as a woman I felt that I was given many leadership opportunities that I might not have otherwise had. The instructors were very invested in our development and helped us grow as individuals and as students. Honestly, over the years from the age of to this day (I am ) I consider this to be my chosen family. We believe that family is more than blood and that our bond is beyond the mat. Since then, I've had the opportunity to visit and teach at many other martial arts schools. In comparison, I highly recommend this program to any student of any age. years old all the way to students in their s. It's never too late to try something new! The program can be flexible in working with your abilities. Worst case scenario, it's not for you, and that's okay. But don't let fear hold you back!
My son has been in NEMA beginner program couple of months and he LOVES it! Both Master Cooper and Master Red are professional and knowledgeable. Master Cooper is strict but fun, he knows each of his student very well and he can provide customized, insightful comments on the kids' performance. My son is growing stronger, physically and mentally. Kudos to NEMA!
My kids have been going to Incourage for almost 4 years, after school, summer camps, martial art you name it ,we have been there. Master wook is best. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun environment for their kids.
