This is my favorite Japanese/Sushi cuisine in the area. The food is consistently delicious! They package everything nicely for to go orders as well. Friendly staff and lively environment. I recommend any bento box and the spicy tempura roll is a must try! Haven't had anything I didn't like so far. So delicious! I have to go at least once a month! I've attached their menu as of 6/ enjoy 😉 🍣🍤🍥

We get take out from here all the time, definitely our new local favorite. We've dinned in as well, staff is always super attentive, willing to modify things to make it the best meal ever. Easy instructions for ordering, pickup, etc. They are light on the rice and heavy on the ingredients, so it's worth every penny. Even my 3.5yr old agrees that their sushi is the BEST! She says, " thank you for the sushi 'mam! "

Trapper's was my introduction to sushi many years ago, and I make it a point to stop in when I'm in town. The all-you-can-eat lunch at the bar is delicious and a great value. The staff are quite friendly all around. They just moved into a new, much larger location next to their old one.

Best sushi in the county, friendly service, beautiful presentation. I love the Rainier crunch roll. Quick service even when busy. Easy parking. A few booths for dining in.

Super cute conveyor belt sushi place, such a great variety of things to pick from - from tempura, to creme brulee, to Tobago. I eat with my eyes, so definitely easy to rack up a big bill. Everything was extremely delicious. Staff is attentive and extremely nice. Looking forward to coming back.

Staff was super friendly and attentive. Food was good! It was only my second time eating sushi. I definitely tried some new things. I would recommend trying this restaurant out. The little salad they serve before was DELICIOUS

I ordered for takeout on a busy evening. They let me know it was going to be approx min wait. The portions received were large and food was fresh. Check for their daily special before ordering! The teriyaki sauce did seem watered down though, it was a bit bland and runny. Gave it 4 stars. *Update* We tried this place again for takeout. Placed a large order and it was done in min, great timing especially considering how much we ordered. The kids meals were impressive too, see the photo of teriyaki chicken with one scoop of rice for reference. Out of 7 of us: 5 said it was absolutely delicious, 1 said really good, and 1 said it was okay. Received large servings, tasted fresh, teriyaki sauce was no longer bland. Changing rating to 5 stars since 4.5 isn't an option and this place is so much better than any others anywhere nearby. One last note, this place does not charge extra for rice, miso soup, and rice like some others now do.

It had been a while since I had sushi and Trapper's did not disappoint. My brother and I chose 3 rolls for lunch, and it was just the right amount of food. The service was fantastic, friendly and attentive. The rolls, yet similar, had very different flavors. Each one had a very lovely heat through both peppers and peppered sauces. I cannot wait this long to have my next plate of sushi and Trapper's will be my choice. Highly recommend, I have never had a bad experience at a Trapper's location whether it be Bonney Lake, Tacoma, Silverdale or Lacey.

The sushi here is very fresh and well prepared making it delicious. If that's not enough the staff here all is super friendly and very welcoming. I highly recommend the happy hour as it's quite the deal. The mountain Rainer with those yummy mini scallops are one of my favorites. Enjoy!

Had a great time here! Cute little place with a great waitress. Never had a sushi burrito but will be going back, half of one filled me up. Also I love all the custom hand drawn Naruto characters on the walls.

Now I am spoiled. BY FAR the best sushi and bento anywhere. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The flavor was amazing. The potstickers were from heaven. The tempura veggies were exceptional. Not overdone. The sashimi was like BUTTER. You could "cut" it with chopsticks. The hot Sake was the absolute perfect temperature. We had 2 larges each! The 4 rolls we ordered were the best rolls I have ever had. I will not go ANYWHERE ELSE for sushi from now on in this area. The price was definitely better than many other places around here. I would highly recommend. Would give more stars if I could.

They have very attentive courteous staff and the restaurant is clean. The food came in a timely manner and portions were huge the last time I was there. Their chicken curry is mouthwatering! Chicken is so crunchy, soo delicious! Ramen on a cold rainy days hits the spot especially with a dash of their chili oil. This time we tried the dumplings and they're so juicy! I love coming here whenever I am in the area!

Best almond chicken I have ever had. 🥰 All of the food was delicious. The portions are very generous. We easily had enough left over for another meal. I am stuffed as I write this and contemplating eating another bite of my almond chicken. It was that good. Highly recommend this place.

I've seen the place for a while, finally decided to stop by. I ordered a cooked Mexican roll, Hurricane Roll, for myself. The girlfriend ordered a fried Godzilla Roll and a Tornado Roll. The rolls were delicious, and the service was great. It was Diffinetly worth the money; it was not expensive for sushi, and portions were just right. Will be back for sure to try the rest of the rolls.

Always fresh. Excellent sushi, best at JBLM. McChord Commissary sushi is good but this is great.

Mama-san and Papa-sama. These guys been running wow sushi for a hot minute. They were like family to me. They made big fresh pieces of sushi and comparatively I'd rather go here than trappers or anywhere else. It's good stuff! And cheaper! Self serve drinks and all you can have miso soup too. This place upgraded over my 3 years at jblm

Delicious food and at a great price! Since it's located inside the market the wait can be + minutes at lunch time so I like to call ahead. I got an 8 piece fire engine roll with a small salad and miso soup for $.. Came back the next day for another roll for lunch!

We came in with a crowd of starving hungry people. All ordered a variety of different sushi rolls soups and teriyaki plates. All were super satisfied with their meals, very delicious and fresh food. Service was amazing the lady was super sweet. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

They're great, I am never had them not give me my food correctly or that it doesn't taste beyond good. That's how they roll. The food is exceptional. And as fast they make it we should be happy that we get to taste it and eat it. Tammi
