"Great experience. The food was great quality and the service was excellent. The yukhwe was almost tuna like in texture. Super fresh. I enjoyed the boneless short rib the most. It was a perfect amount of fattyness. Could've skipped the dry aged rib eye and gotten a few more servings of the short ribs. The egg souffle was a bit densed for my liking but my fiance love it. The galbi fried rice was flavorful and I definitely would recommend it. Pancakes were OK. Scallops were OK, again would skip for more short ribs or wagyu. Sorbet was light and the pumpkin puree really compliments it."

"This place was pretty amazing. Open air kitchen, intimate seating, and honestly some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. I had the roasted chicken and it was absolutely delicious. I will 100% come back to this place when I am in town"

"Enjoyed a great dinner with friends and family on Saturday evening. We reserved Walt Disney's table 31 for our dinner. And, being fans we loved dining on a piece of Americana. PROS: Traditional Scottish pub atmosphere, original artwork, oil paintings, fireplaces lit, savory Scottish rarebit, succulent prime rib, soft and tasty Yorkshire pudding, wonderful creamed spinach and corn, all food was a delightful and delicious. However, as great as the ambiance and food was, Gerardo was an awesome server. He was great and hosted and amazing table and truly made the evening memorable. CONS: The greeter and hostess seemed a bit short and rude."

"Had a pretty epic Christmas Eve dinner here. How legendary. Everything we ordered was outstanding. Service was impeccable. We sat in their new patio area and it's enclosed and cozy. Make a reservation, get a bottle of wine and order your steak rare. Wowza."

"The steak and chicken was amazingly prepared. And the cold bar had a lot of great options. If you like meat brought to you while you're sitting and enjoying time with your family & friends, or some clients, it is worth the cost. The wait staff was very prompt and attentive and friendly. We didn't feel rushed and they made it feel like a higher end family restaurant. I went in a t-shirt and shorts, but there were a lot of people there dressed very nicely. I felt a bit under dressed,, but the hostess said that they didn't have a dress code. And the manager stopped by to check on us and made sure everything was taken care of that we needed. They had plenty of red meat choices as well as chicken and pork. There were a few pieces that I didn't enjoy all that much, but every piece was masterfully prepared and tasted amazing. My own tastes just don't lean towards chicken much, but it still was delicious."

"I had the pleasure of dining here with a good friend who recommended Capital Grille. This was my first time and it was quite the experience. A few things that made this experience stellar! - The interior decor made me feel like I was in New York City, didn’t feel like I was in LA at all! - Our server was punctual and very attentive to us even tho he had to wait on a few other tables. - The food was coursed out perfectly and the presentation was great. - The menu reads very good and everything flows from top to bottom. - The lobster Mac and cheese how was the perfect amount of consistency between the lobster, shells and cheese! :) ( my all time fave!) I really appreciated that the GM: Michael Callahan made his self present. He did a great job supporting his staff making our experiences one of a kind and seamless. I am very familiar with the Downtown LA area and Capital Grille Nestling in on this block really made an impactful statement as many restaurants have came and went. I am sure the neighborhood is grateful to have Capital Grille and all of its glory! I most definitely will be returning back to try more dishes from the menu!"

"Brazilian BBQ dinner - 5 🌟 W Brazilian Steakhouse opened in December 2021. I heard about it from social media but knew I would prefer to go as a celebration dinner instead of one of my regular foodie adventures. My parents were in town and we were celebrating so we tried out W. If you haven't had a Brazilian BBQ, the style is like a buffet where your meal includes as many servings of meat and sides that you can handle. The difference with a Brazilian BBQ is they have carvers bring the meats directly to your table from the grill. They slice the BBQ tabelside and keep returning until you throw in the towel. It is a very filling and tasty meal. W is in a small space. The decor is very nice. Other Brazilian BBQs have a buffet setup for sides but W, due to their cozy settings, brings all the sides to your table and you can ask for more at any time. For the meats, there was about 7 choices the day we went. My favorite was their signature Brazilian marinated steak as well as the garlic beef. But all if was awesome and I had multiple servings of each. A really nice touch was the spiced bbq pineapple that comes around when the carvers can sense your slowing down. If you choose to dine here, be ready to eat and maybe warn your vegetarian friends."

"WOW! This place is incredible. Everything about here was great. The service to the food was top notch. I HIGHLY recommend going here! First-The location is great. A pretty decent size restaurant that was really cozy and just overall a great vibe. The seating was spacious and clean. There was room for larger parties and smaller. Overall I thought it was perfect size and I enjoyed every second of it. And the best part was the pricing on everything is very generous for how good the food is. The best meal I’ve had in LA so far! Second. The food… it was great from the bread and chimichurri? Sauce was phenomenal! We started off with the Shrimp Patagonia and it was delicious. I dipped some of the chimichurri sauce on them it was so good. I had the 12oz New York strip with fries and my fiancé had the ravioli. My steak was cooked perfect and the fries were good! Filling! I enjoyed the steak a lot. Had a pretty good margarita with it. My fiancés raviolis were a pretty big portion and looked great. For dessert we split the chocolate mousse cake and it was unreal! Everything was beyond good and I’ll definitely be back!"

"I finally have a chance to review this place. I have been coming here before they expanded the restaurant. Where do I start? Well first off there is $4 valet, then you would head upstairs to find the restaurant. Restrooms are in the hallway and they do Appointments only. Make note that you will need to have your COVID Vaccination card shown to be able to eat here. This actually makes me feel safer eating here. If you have not been to other Brazilian BBQ places, this is one of my favorite ones. They have cheese bread and a really good spicy sauce you can dip your meat. You can go to their wide variety salad bar as long as you wear your mask. I would recommend grabbing one of those bigger plates to use for your meat. They have different servers coming with different meat. As long as you this card you have on your table green, they will keep coming to ask if you would like the food. When you are done turn the card over to red. I personally liked the House Special Picanha, Prime Rib. Note that they do not have chicken heart due to the shortage, and no more Yucca fries. Keep note that it can get a bit pricey, but I believe it is worth the atmosphere and quality of food they have here."

"We love dining at the Palm before Lakers games. It is the best steakhouse in downtown Los Angeles in my opinion. The side dishes are excellent too. My favorites include Potato’s Au Gratin and Lobster Mac and Cheese. They make excellent cocktails too and have an extensive wine selection to go with your meal. Sometimes I have had too much meat for the week and I switch it up to their seafood selection which is also excellent. The staff are friendly and on top of it. We make sure to give ourselves plenty of time so we are not rushed during our dining experience and make it to tip-off always."

"Excellent old school spot, with a “Pacific Dining Car” vibes, and great art pieces on the wall. Excellent customer service and the food was delicious! I ordered the 20 oz porterhouse medium rare(flavorful and cooked to perfection) with side of bernaise sauce , cheese bread(my favorite of the orders, and the wine was super smooth(Brady Vineyards 2018 Petite Sirah). The Velvet Cake with Pistachio ice cream is on point! Walk ins is difficult so make sure you call to reserve. I highly recommend this spot, just be aware they’re short staffed too, so a little more patience."

"Nice upscale restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles. They have nice outdoor seating and patio area. The bar is small but cozy. They have a huge win selection. The offer 40 day dry age cuts of meat. The sides are all good. The bread is very delicious. It's a cheddar baked bread. The meat was well cooked, very flavorful and tender. The sides come in big portions so it can easy be enjoyed family style. The wait staff is very attentive and warm. It's a great place for a date night or to celebrate life. Its pricey, but it's worth it."

"I don’t give high praise often, but these guys killed it! They actually had the wines on the wine list. The service was outstanding. The food was amazing and fast. The scene was prime! An all around excellent evening. Can’t wait to go back."

"Our server Maria was wonderful! They did not have the bottle of wine we wanted but she brought out something similar for us to try and choose to get that bottle. Then she made our anniversary dinner very special by bringing us dessert. I had the lobster and my husband had the steak. Everything was delicious and the views were also not bad to look at. We would definitely recommend and we hope to be back soon with friends."

"Overall pleasant dining experience. 45 day aged prime ribeye was excellent, Maine lobster was a bit salty for my taste, but paired with steak it was fine. I highly recommend the black truffle butter topping on your steak! Sides were plentiful and fresh. We dined on a Tuesday and weren’t asked if we were celebrating anything special, it was the wife’s birthday. Would have been nice to have the restaurant recognized this and make it extra special. Overall, food was on point and worth the $$$$! I would recommend and come back to this establishment."

"my Family and I first come here for dinner! the food was delicious !!!! very fast! but most importantly Eric was the best! i can say he's the best in LA when it comes to service....Very Attentive and Friendly..we will be back..Thank you"

"Why is this place not full all the time?!?!?! I can’t believe what a almost cinematic setting! Just like a scene from any classic movie yogi get the rat pack singing when you enter, service staff dressed to the 9’s, and great cocktails and service that matches it with absolute class. I had the ministry soup which was served with the complementary bread and butter which was absolutely delicious but for my main course I had the chicken Parmesan my friend had ravioli with shrimp another friend had the pork chop and another one of my friends had lasagna all of us ate our food so quickly it was as if our plates were brought to us empty they brought us a wonderful dessert and gave us coffee that we would drink forever if we could. Fantastic classic dining experience with amazing dining room! Try them out for a night, bring the family!"

"After having a truly awful experience @ Spire 73 I was hesitant to try the restaurant a floor below, but I’m so glad that I made the booking because not only was the view incredible but so was the food. Our server Ivan was very prompt and did a great job. A well known reality TV star was at the table next to us, but we pretended not to notice. One of the perks of dining in Los Angeles. La Boucherie is located on the 71st floor of the Intercontinental Hotel in the financial district of DTLA and being one floor lower than the tallest restaurant on the West coast, it’s easy to see why the views are so amazing: it’s because they’re literally unbeatable in terms of height. I started off with the Baked Oysters and really enjoyed them. Usually I prefer raw oysters but wanted to change it up tonight. The blue cheese crumble on top was definitely my favorite part. For my entree I chose the Prime Short Rib and ate every bit. It was almost crispy and delicious. For dessert we finished with the Chocolate Soufflé and although a bit expensive for $22 it’s to be expected in a hotel. Overall a terrific meal with truly memorable views. We were lucky to have a table against the window so we were able to gaze out over the city for the entire meal. I would recommend to anyone for any occasion, especially a special one."

"So delish! We never had visited this local place but in sure glad we did. Everything was yummy. Highlights: ribeye with shiso, okra, green beans, and the mushrooms. Next time we definitely want to try the scallops.. looked amazing. Good service, fun Beetles music, easy to park."

"Great food and service. Lighting is a bit dark. It's hard to read the menu but most people order the steak anyway. Shrimps were very fresh too. Dessert was wonderful."
