The food is always delicious. The portions are ginormous! The staff are consistently attentive and extremely pleasant. Once you factor in the jazzy ambiance and ample parking, makes for a wonderful dining experience! Try it and you will love it too!

Delicious and just like homemade but better. The fish here is done proper and all the fixings done right. Hot wings here are on another level and the okra is 🤩

This review is based off of the awesome customer service my family received from Ezells’ due to a DD issue. After receiving our delivery we noticed that the order was wrong. Called the dude and he responded to call the restaurant because it was their fault. The receipt order has the name they are delivering to so right off I knew he messed up. So called the restaurant to let them know what happened. They had given two orders to the guy and he switched them up in a rush to deliver. Delauren(How I heard it pronounced through mask) apologized, explained what happened, and offered for us to come in and receive our order. I went in, met her, and was immediately taken care of and offered anything on the house like sides and dessert. I took the dessert, explained to her that DD has no quality control in delivery drivers, and went on my way. Family was satisfied as their food is comfort food and we are patrons of their establishment. This woman’s communication, empathy, and conflict resolution was what most restaurants fail to understand and utilize. I know this review may fall on deaf ears but when someone deserves recognition for something that people take for granted like customer service, I have to give them thanks. Thanks Delauren! And for Delivery Drivers of any company, pay attention and communicate with both restaurant and customers. People are hungry and just want their food but will be reasonable if you are accommodating and respectful with issues like this.

Perfectly delicious. Omg was my first time there & my gosh was it amazing. I usually don't eat gravy on my mashed potatoes but decided to try it I'm glad I did because it was the best I've EVER had. The chicken was also the best I've ever had omg & the corn bread was UGH so good just no words lol. Everything was absolutely the best I've ever tried. My family all agreed was the best. I have found my new favorite place to eat. The owner was such an amazing woman I ate alone& she kept me company& told me about her coupon on internet she's offering such a great lady she is. Her place is clean, including the rest room.

Seriously the best fried chicken I have had to date!! The fried okra is delicious! Get the fish and chicken with sides. You cannot go wrong! Great owner and a really nice vibe in here.

Food arrives quicker than anywhere else! The house sauces are flavorful. I love the spicy tenders. The rolls are consistently soft and fresh. Need to stop ordering thru delivery apps & go in person so I can tip y’all directly:) Very satisfied!

Amazing homemade cooking experience, the lemonade mango is so delicious and smooth with real mango. The Mac and Cheese is outstanding better than Ezelles or Sisters and Brothers. The fried chicken is seasoned just like moms. Customer service is friendly and very accommodating. I definitely want to try the fried catfish next. Very friendly atmosphere, Kevin Hart and host of Dives and diners "Guy Fieri" were customers here. Great southern experience with all the sides to choose from. Highly recommended

First time at Uncle Thurms today and LET👏🏾👏🏾ME👏🏾TELL👏🏾YOU the food is AMAZING !! My first thought walking in the door is that it smelled just like my great aunts house on Sunday and I knew the food was going to be on point 👌🏾 .. Now not only is the food amazing but the hospitality is wonderful too I felt like I went to my uncle's house !! My husband is from the Georgia and swears everyone cooking is from the south 😂 and I even got my 5 year old to eat fish today because of the Bomb catfish that was made .. Thank you Uncle Thurm we will be back for more of the the good food huge portions !!!!

Quality! That’s all I can say. I’m not local but I’m a foodie who likes trying the local staples. To be considered fast food, everything was great. I got the 2-piece lunch special. The spicy chicken actually had a nice little kick but wasn’t overpowering with nice,crispy skin. The beans were tasty too; reminded me of beans from a family BBQ. I didn’t get to eat my food until about minutes later but my sides were still warm and the chicken didn’t turn cold or get soggy. The roll wasn’t a favorite of mine; too dense. But that might have been because I didn’t eat it while still warm. The flavor was good though and I could immediately tell that it was a sweet bread. Now I wish that there was an Ezell’s in the Carolinas. Will definitely be back anytime I’m in the area.

Ordered bbq chicken and some hot wings. Lips r a blaze. Wow great tasting sauce. Fall apart chicken. Excellent find. Excited to try the catfish and ribs.

Hittin For The Best BreakFast Seattle Wa Grits Smothered W/ Bacon & Shrimp+Lemonade! Always Amazing

One of the best southern type of foods I have had in Seattle so far. My grandma who is from Texas and the most picky eater agreed it was really good. The server had so much practice with her it was insane I appreciated it so much. I had the shrimp Po Boy and she had the cat fish meal with Mac and cheese on the side. Everything was so flavorful and delicious, I can’t lie though the Mac and cheese was eh, it was ok. But I might just be real picky with my Mac and cheese. the fries were amazing though don’t let the picture fool you. I can’t wait to try everything else! We Will be back soon!

This place is so good! You may end up waiting for a bit but it's worth it. The muscles are in a robust and vibrant curry sauce, are wonderful! I would buy just the sauce in a jar if I could. I love the greens and they're vegan too. Ginger beer is good and house made. A little too sweet (for me) but I'd at least try it out. Fried plantains are excellent as well as the hush puppies. Honestly everything here is really good and I can't really complain.

Went out to get BBQ but Lil Red's closed early. Still felt like having at least a little zest in our evening so walked down a bit further and bam! Ezell's Which not once have We been ever disappointed with this location in any which way shape or form. You get what you pay for and you get fast service, unless you are ordering a whole pound or two of chicken. Then yeah you are gonna have to wait a few. And yes it worth the wait! For those who enjoy zest and flavor their 'spicy' Recipe is amazing. If you can't handle spicy foods, but love the flavor without the heat? Go for the spicy recipe. If you are unsure you can always go half & half. The tenders are fantastic while the leg and thighs they have to offer are some of the juiciest and supple pieces of meat in the area. So if you are in the market for savory dark meat, this is this definitely a good option. The place was very clean inside and the staff follow proper quarantine/pandemic protocols while still being friendly and giving customers good tidings and cheer. Lastly if you start to walk out the door order in hand without your sauce, they'll get your attention and make sure your dipping needs are taken care of. Lurve, Peace & Chicken grease! ~Leo

Stopped by for lunch, first visit. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Wednesdays the daily special is Jerk Chicken Burrito — I ordered it loaded on wheat tortilla (flour, wheat, and maybe spinach tortilla options if I remember right), as recommended (they thought I might need a nap later). The burrito was huge and super delicious. The jerk seasoning as hot and tasty and complemented all the other flavors. The burrito even held together surprisingly well, though keep it wrapped with napkins handy. It went great with a cold beer, and Lil Red’s is working on a beer permit. My friends enjoyed their lunches, too, with special praise for the collard greens.

Back in town and had to stop. This is my first go at this location and was % satisfied. The chicken taste great and their Cajun season on the fries are over the top. The employees are hard working unlike most of these eating places around here. I am from the South and totally approve my visit for taste and service will definitely be back.

Ordered takeout and it was delicious. 1 lbs fried catfish - perfectly fried, crispy yet juicy. Cornbread was the right level of sweetness. Really liked the tartar sauce because it has a slight hot sauce kick. Easy online order and in-store pickup. Will % come back.

The service is excellent here. Good portion sizes here. I got the burger and Mac and cheese and red beans. The burger was pretty good but they need to add salt to the mac and cheese and the red beans. Nice big oysters, but they are always out. I am going to try the catfish next. Staff is real friendly.
