We have been with EMSA for a few years and have loved the experience. We have seen great improvement with our girl’s skills and love that they don’t have a new coach every season. Our girls are growing with other team mates and their coach can continue to help them with individual skills if needed. Their team is like their second family. And win or lose they always talk make the kids feel confident
Cowtown Soccer League is by far the best!!! I was worried when I registered my boys their first year because all the other kids were experienced and had great skills. Where as my boys were beginners. From the beginning, Marc put my mind at ease with his easy going personality. Coach Johnny and Coach Charlie treated my boys like they were family and made the game truly enjoyable! They were very patient and took time to teach them about the sport. Never did they yell or even raise their voice. Every game Marc makes it a point to come around and greet everyone and even takes time to kick the ball around with the kids. Their kind hearts and gentle manner made my kids not only Come to LOVE soccer but look forward to every practice and game!
Love the league ;)
Coaches for the Keller Heartbreakers Riley Daniel and Brittany Melendez are verbally abusive to those girls and to the other teams. They are yelling at the “bigger” girls “I bet if that ball was chocolate cake you’d be running after it a lot faster!” Just humiliating them and being so inappropriate. I will make sure my child is not on this team next season.
Fields are in great shape. Son enjoyed the soccer match he was center ref for. Both teams and coaches were competitive and respectful.
This is a good league.
My kids have been apart of HUSA for many years. If your looking for an organization that will work with you and provide a great environment for your kids to learn, look no further. I want to personally thank the organization for the opportunities it gave my kids to get better at what they love doing and that’s playing sports. I know everyone has their own experiences and I respect that. However, my experience with Mr. Brent has been nothing but amazing. We have been involved with many organizations since our kids were little. He has been an excellent ambassador to the sport and has been more than kind and fair with to our family. We even worked through some misunderstandings. I was actually surprised to see a negative comment. If you haven’t met him you should, he is usually the first one there welcoming everyone and the last one to leave. Thank you HUSA and Mr. Brent. Continue the great work!
I know everyone has their own experiences and I respect that. However, my experience with coach Ross DeWitt has been amazing. I have been involved in competitive soccer since I was a kid. I personally don’t care what the organization is, it’s all about the coach. He has been an excellent coach who brought a group of girls who had never played together before to a strong team. He has been more than kind and fair with our team. I was actually surprised to see a negative comment.
I can't wait to play next week. Greatness being a part of a team and can't say enough good about the women and men competing against us! Respect and spirited play across the board... Thankful to my Mom allowing me to be a part of the team! Love you Mom!
I have been coaching for years and this is the most organized league I have worked with. I have never seen a league more passionate about soccer and wanting to set kids up for success as they approach high school and college soccer. Please be patient with all coaches and staff that support these types of organizations. Most of the people organizing the teams and games have full time times, and all of the coaches are volunteers! That is why I am so impressed with the league!
