My best friend and I booked this tour last minute. We really wanted to go on a boat ride that was both a speedboat as well as some sightseeing. This was a perfect combination of both. Although it was a really hot day, the breeze from the boat made it very comfortable and relaxing. Our captain, Eric, was fantastic. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable. I % recommend this boat tour to anyone whether you’re a native New Yorker or visiting for the first time. You will thoroughly enjoy this.

An amazing, unique experience. It was magical to be out on the Hudson at sunset on this intimate vintage boat with our picnic! Levi was a perfect host and captain. Well worth it to take in the skyline and the Statue of Liberty and fall in love with NYC all over again!

Had a great time on the Heart and Soul of Greenwich Village Food Tour last weekend. Chip was great. The weather was cold but the food was warm and yummy. Was full at the end and went back to a couple of the stops to shop after. Will definitely catch another tour on a future visit.

This is something my husband and I have wanted to do for a LONG time with our family. We felt that everyone was at a great age (8,6,5 and 3) and finally booked a date with Captain Eric on the Genesis. I felt like a kid waiting for Santa when the day arrived. We chose a 2-hour, morning sail () to the Statue of Liberty. We drove into the city and had an easy time parking at Pier . It was a short walk to the boat from there. It was a bit of a windy day, but it didn't impact our experience at all. The views were spectacular, Captain Eric's knowledge of the history for the coasts on both the NY/NJ sides was fascinating. We were able to move around the boat, the kids took to it very quickly, there was never a time that any of us felt unsafe. Captain Eric explained all the parts of the boat and answered the endless amount of questions that kids have. It was hard to leave when our charter was over and we've already inquired about dates to do a second tour, which we will go to the Brooklyn bridge. This first trip exceeded our expectations, there's not a thing I would change and this is, for sure, something we will be doing time and time again.

Worth the ride! We choose the min package and our ride started at 7 it was a perfect break for our tired feet after site seeing all day and the favorite part of our adventure for most of us! Our carriage coach was awesome and told us many things we wouldn’t have been able to learn on our own with just a day in the big Apple and was even happy to stop and take a couple pictures for us!

We had the absolute best 3 days with Annie from Cliff’s team. She was so fun to be around, was so kind and patient with all our questions, and showed us literally anything and everything we asked for. We could not have had a better time for our first family trip to NYC. I highly recommend this company their whole team is simply amazing!

We visited in late June . So glad we booked the tour. Rob was a fantastic tour guide for the 9/ memorial tour. He was very knowledgeable and engaging, a great speaker. We also took the Statue of Liberty Tour with Dan, who was equally entertaining and knowledgeable. We had three teens who were entertained and enjoyed the tour as well. Would definitely recommend Walks of New York.

This is a MUST SEE for New York Sports Fans. Kevin, Kathy and the guest of honors (ours was Ann Liguori) did a deep dive into NY Sports history. I learned so many new facts about the origins of NY Sports on a private bus. Kevin and team were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and even took pictures to capture the memorable experience. Highly Recommend for sports enthusiasts or company outings!

Bryant knows his history and delivers 👏 with charm and puns. This tour felt private, our group plus another family from Chicago. 8 people total in tour including teens and adults. The guides are very attentive, helpful and kind. The trip was excellent and to a large extent I owe them, it was my first trip to NY and I got to know the history, the local culture, I did excellent shopping. This is the second time we have used Mike Dillinger for a walking tour. Today was the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Mike’s so well prepared so there is never any time wasted or opportunity missed. Always willing to go the extra mile (literally). Thanks to Mike we have the most amazing photos which will give us wonderful memories of our special trip. His knowledge is incredible and he is able to bring history to life by telling stories of his own families heritage and their journey to the US. A true gentleman and a scholar.

Our Better Adventures tour of Central park was a highlight of the summer! Our tour guide Geovanni was extremely knowledgeable and interjected the right amount of detail about the geography and history of the Park as he helped us explore and discover so much that we never knew about this fabulous NYC treasure. The right guide makes all the difference, and we were incredibly impressed with his passion, articulateness, and clear desire for everyone on the tour to walk away with a deep appreciation for the Park and its central role in NYC. No doubt that we are going to call upon Better adventures and Geovanni to enrich other city adventures. Highly recommended!

Jim was absolutely phenomenal! My girlfriend and I had a great time. Jim was extremely knowledgeable of the city, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island. He was energetic, kind and funny and made the entire tour/trip so much fun and well worth it. He kept it interesting lively. We will book him for another trip/private tour soon.
