Tipsy Shanghai is delicious! The staff was friendly and helped recommend the best dishes on the menu. Everything was amazing. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! I can’t wait to come back.
The soupiest and tastiest dumplings. We loved the wide selection of dumplings available there. Not just soup but pan-fried too. There is a live counter which is fun to watch if you are seated beside it. The owner is friendly and checks in frequently. Alcohol is available. Family-friendly but also ideal for a quick meal of dumplings and a drink should you need a quick lunch. Not sure if the space above is available but the ground floor is currently open.
Great place to to enjoy authentic steamed bun (soup dumplings with pork). We ordered one basket to start, ate our egg drop soup and Shanghai style lo mein with pork and shrimp, and ordered a second basket they are that good. Meal comes with a pot of hot green tea. Everything was delicious, clean, and the service was very good.
Enjoyed my meal of soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) as well as crab and scallop dumplings. I was so eager to eat the soup dumplings I forgot to take a photo until after I had eaten half of them! The soup dumplings with ginger sauce were so good! Staff was very nice and attentive.
The truffle fried rice and soup dumplings are next level! A bit pricey but worth it. The crispy beef was a big hit with our group! Love the truffle fried rice and the veggie fried rice, as well as the sweet and sour chicken The spare ribs with garlic were crispy and full of flavor The Dumplings were amazing: soup, pork and pan fried were all great Overall all of our appetizers and entrees were delicious Hope this review helped, if so give it a 👍🏼
This is a really good Chinese food restaurant. The innovative roast duck is a must get. They scrap off all the fat from the skin but the skin is still crispy. Not eating all that fat makes for a much more refreshing after meal feeling. The crab tofu is also really good with rice. They use pretty high quality ingredients and it tastes a lot cleaner compared with other Chinese restaurants. The pancake with the sliced beef is also super good.
This has been my favorite meal of New York. We had a wait for our table of 6, but it was worth it. Everything was served family style. The General Tso's Chicken was some of the best I've ever eaten. We also tried each soup dumpling. The pork soup dumpling was my favorite. The crispy pan fried noodle was something I've never had, but it was so flavorful. Food came really quickly. I can't wait to get back!
The stand out dishes I had here are the "Tangerine Beef" and the "Fried tiny buns w pork." Also had the "Shanghai lo mien w shrimp" and the "Shredded pork with garlic sauce" but those were just average, I wouldn't order those again. Apparently the soup dumplings are good here so I'd try those next time.
We were in the area and looking for a place to eat. I was able to make reservations minutes prior to our meal (granted it was Sunday evening). We got there minutes early but we were not able to sit until our meal time, which is fine. The waiting area is not that big so you're better off getting there 5 minutes before your reservation time. The menu has a good range of yummy options. It was hard to choose. I REALLY enjoyed the chili noodles with dried shrimp for the appetizer and the Don PO Pork buns for the entree. That pork is TENDER! My friends enjoyed their food as well. Overall great experience. I really like the decor and ambiance. There were many other items on the menu that I wanted to try so I'll definitely be back to try them.
My heart melted when I ate this! Their dishes made me so happy because of how delicious they were! I loved the options from different meats to veggies and more. I ordered delivery (2 from dim sum and 1 entree) because I was craving comfort food. I’ll need to come back and dine in soon! Side note, the delivery man was adorable! He’s so nice!
The food was good and reasonably priced. The deco at the restaurant is really nice. The dragon well tea shrimp was alright, it had a nice presentation, but the shrimps didn't have much flavors. I probably won't order it again, but it was cool to see the smoke coming out from the bottom. The rest of the meal was good, we would come back again to try out their other dishes.
I was struggling with my golf game after three surgeries in two years. I finally said that’s it. I need to get a good series of lessons. I called impact zone. They evaluated my swing. They suggested a series of lessons. I couldn’t be happier. Bernard Sheridan is my instructor. He is teaching me the dynamics of the golf swing. This is something I never really learned in the years I’ve played. I’m not great yet but it is certainly coming along well. I highly recommend Bernard Sheridan and the method that they teach at impact zone. I’m working towards attaining my new goals on the course. At years old I feel like I’m on the way to playing the best golf of my life.
We stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to go in because of leaving patron’s recommendations. The service was quick and joyful and they happy to converse and make suggestions from the menu. There were 4 people in our group, every dish we ordered was shareable in size and amazing in taste. The meat and veggies were so fresh. You HAVE to have the Dim Sum dumplings as your appetizer!!! Super affordable and delicious. Will be going back
The service here was incredible, and the food was awesome! It's hard to find a good dim sum place this far up on Manhattan. Sure it's not the same as Flushing or Chinatown but it was great to not have to commute to those places to get a good soup dumpling! The waiters were attentive, and so efficient with everything they do. The food came perfectly spaced out, and we were able to enjoy each others' company because they weren't in rush to kick us out! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Uh I am embarrassed that it took me this long to try 3 Times. I’ve been (stupidly) loyal to Joe’s and I’ve gotta say, these are THE best soup dumplings in New York. You must also ask for the chili sauce, it has an amazing subtle sesame flavor that compliments the dumplings so well
Hot and sour soup was one of the best in the area, and the broccoli chicken was perfectly cooked. They even made us boba drinks when we asked, even though we didn’t see them on the menu. The restaurant used to be upstairs but they merged with the downstairs bar because of covid, so now they serve both Chinese and bar food/drinks. The food was great and we’ll be back! :)
I lived in NY for years and nothing beats the food. That being said, I moved to Florida 4 years ago for work and haven't been back until last week. We went in for Thanksgiving (work), and decided we would do take out for dinner. This place was amazing. Food is always what I expected.....New York food is the best. The staff was super friendly, the prices were not anything crazy, and the food was ready within minutes. We brought it back to the hotel and ate all of it. I don't know how food is where you are, but they always bury it in rice. Not here. They gave so much chicken and pork on top of the rice, I was very satisfied. Highly recommended.
Good food and service. We ordered crab and seafood soup, kimchi fried rice, cashew kung pao chicken, thai iced tea and hawaiin sun passion drink. Everything was on point and plated on time. Restroom was clean as well. % gratuity is automatically added.
Food here are all good and original. Have been here twice times a week for 5 months. Highly recommended.
Excuse me. Where has M Shanghai been my entire life? This establishment serves some of the best high quality Chinese food in the city. Not only is the food phenomenal, but the ambience and service are second to none. In addition, the bar is also very welcoming. Finally, the staff is very friendly and happy to chat it up with the customers. BONUS - their playlist was up my alley! A mix of s new wave and s hits. Pro-tip - can't go wrong with their spicy crispy kung pao chicken, scallion pancakes, and soup dumplings!
