We had the best time! We signed up for the glass blowing class with Dale. He was an incredible instructor, and extremely patient. We can't say enough good things about our experience, just highly recommend it. The gallery was wonderful, and Heather was so passionate about the art. This place is a must.
Brenda is a great CPR instructor! She's willing to stop and explain any questions or concerns you may have. I really appreciate her patience and willingness to make sure you are comfortable with performing CPR in the real world. Something I really loved is that she offers classes every day and a time that is convenient for you, which really demonstrates her compassion for her students! Definitely coming back when I need to renew my certificate.
I got NATE certified with Don when he held his classes at Johnstone supply. As a person who has always been an awful student and honestly not very bright, I was able to grasp and understand the subject matter. I always tell people that Don’s gift is getting stupid people to understand. I would argue that he is quite possibly the best teacher on the planet. If you’re like me and only graduated high school because your teachers didn’t want to see you again, pay for this man’s classes!
Ariel is the owner of Denver Farrell's and she is seriously the best. The team she has built there is motivating, empowering, and patient! You walk into a class not feeling intimidated, but welcome, and regardless of your level of athleticism and ability, there are endless modifications to the workouts. We would recommend Farrell's to any person who is looking for an "inclusive but not over-bearing" gym and team. This is the place to be, which is wild coming from someone who doesn't love working out but has really enjoyed being part of this gym.
Fusion Combat intro classes are an excellent way to learn self-defense techniques in a safe, supportive environment. Jesse is clearly an expert, but breaks down techniques so that even the most awkward of beginners (like myself!) are able to learn. If you are in the area and considering giving a class a try, I highly recommend you do it! I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to learn there.
Todd has curated an amazing atmosphere for actors at many different levels to elevate their craft. His instruction WILL challenge you and, in turn, help increase your ability to step into the shoes of a character. Furthermore, this studio has a lovely community of individuals. I have had the pleasure of meeting some remarkable artists. Thank you to Babcock Studios for allowing me to fail, succeed, and grow as an actor.
The Art of Spanish did a fantastic job of of not only teaching vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation, but also exposing us to cultural treasures. My instructor Sailine, was very approachable, understanding, and knew how to teach the Spanish language very well. I would highly recommend.
I have recently gone through the permanent makeup program with Accent Beauty Academy. Let me tell you, this woman knows what she's talking about. You learn more than you could ever imagine and also get a lot of hands on training. Alesya is strong force and so very passionate about what she does. I highly recommend getting your training done with this amazing school and even more amazing woman.
My 4 year old has been taking piano lessons at Pirisen for the past year, and has really enjoyed learning to play music. We have worked with a few different teachers, and each has been wonderful in their approach to learning. Learning piano is not easy, especially when you’re 4 and also learning letters, right vs left, etc, but the instructors at Pirisen make this accessible even for the little ones. My son was able to quickly learn full children’s songs, and has participated in recitals. This is a great confidence-building endeavor for kids (and adults!) Pirisen has flexible days and hours and they’ve always been able to accommodate our scheduling needs. Gina, Pirisen studio manager, is always accessible, and always friendly and helpful. I recommend Pirisen to anyone looking to learn an instrument or take voice lessons.
Each class is an excellent opportunity to build strength, and understanding in traditional martial arts. The wealth of knowledge and overall passion from instructors is never ending. You are taught how to realistically prepare for many diverse situations, while learning combat as a true art form. My time here has been incredibly valuable.
My children love the Learning Network and have started speaking Spanish to each other. I don't speak Spanish and I think they are making fun of me to my face.
I LOVE working withe Adrienne, and let me say I have been so picky about vocal coaches. Being a professional performer and having a bachelors in vocal performance makes finding a teacher with an advanced enough vocal understanding difficult, but Adrienne has really taken my performances to the next level with her instruction. Her extensive knowledge of the vocal process and her ability to regress and progress exercises based on where I am that day is extraordinary. Thank you Adrienne!!
I had the best time I've had in a very long time. I have zero experience and I learned so much. Not only did I think it was not going to be a work out at all, I thought it was going to be easy. I was dead wrong. It was a work out but didn't feel like one. It was not easy but it was fun so it seemed easy. I smiled from ear to ear the entire night. My confidence which is usually in the crapper at all times soared!! I recommend this to EVERYONE
I have taken a ton of safety training and I will say these guys provide the most engaging safety training I have ever participated in. If you need to educate your team to keep people safe call Dax and team.
Taking dance lessons with Melissa was an incredible experience. My mom got my husband and I a -pack of dance lessons to prep for our first dance. We used 6 or 7 of them for us, and the rest for our parent dances, and all I have to say is WOW. By the first lesson, Melissa had us doing multiple dance styles to see what worked best for us. By the last lesson, we were so confident in our dance, and it was perfect for us! At our wedding, our dance was amazing. Our guests loved every minute of it too - everyone in attendance gave rave reviews! In addition, my dad - who has never been comfortable on a dance floor - was singing along while we danced and nailing all of the steps. Melissa was so patient with him that he even said he'd be interested in taking more lessons from her! I would % recommend taking lessons here, and I can't wait to go back for more, just for fun!
I used to sail when I was a teenager. Recently, I was looking for a new dream to pursue and after recalling how much fun I had in my youth, I decided that sailing was it. I started looking at boats online and found Victoria Sailing School. I signed up in late May, completed my ASA certification, and will take the ASA exam within the next couple of weeks. This has been a fantastic experience and I'm having a blast! Every instructor I've had has taught me something new, and with each session on the water, I'm gaining more confidence in my abilities and experiencing new and different situations that stretch me just a bit more. I am very pleased with the instruction, support, and encouragement I've received at Victoria Sailing School and would highly recommend their programs!
My nine year old son was studying at another music studio but we felt it was time to seek a teacher who would be able to help our son to the next level of Drumming. Lane teaching style is intuitive to exactly what our son needs for both fun and Precision drumming. Our son has quickly advanced to a new level of drumming with the added benefit of learning how to read music. Lane’s side-by-side teaching style has been the key for our sons lessons. I’m really glad we met Lane and are benefiting from his dedication to teaching kids music.
After training Ving Tsun for more than a year, I can honestly say that the system has given me ideas and practices that have deeply changed my life for the better. I came to Ving Tsun after years of yoga practice, and I wasn't sure at first if martial arts were for me: I have always been repulsed by violence and I had a stereotype in my mind of martial artists as 'macho' guys who like to fight. What I found at Denver Kung Fu was the opposite of that negative stereotype. In Ving Tsun, the system is built around the understanding that violence is something to be avoided, and we learn how to train our bodies and mind to react to traumatic situations in ways that maximize our well-being. I have personally found that the training has really benefitted my physical and mental health, while also empowering me and building my confidence for handling a violent situation if one were to arise. Sifu Ely does an incredible job of creating a culture in the school of mutual respect, camaraderie, and friendship. The students refer to each other as brothers and sisters and I have a deep sense that my brothers support me and want the best for me. When I joined the Denver Kung Fu school, I joined a community that I feel very proud and blessed to be a part of. :-)
