"I have stayed in other campgrounds the last few years and by far this place is the best. The owners Mantra and Jerome are the nicest people and its so cute to see her on her golfcart with her 3 little dogs. When they see you out and about they always take the time to stop and talk to you to make sure everything is okay. They have many events throughout the year and they keep you up to date on what is going on. I love the fact that the Charlotte Motor Speedway is across the street and the Concord Mall is only 3 miles away as I do love to shop. They offer a wifi service which I have and I have never had any problems. The campground itself is well kept with beautiful landscaping, clean and very secure with the many cameras on site. I also have great campers next to me so it feels more like home here. I just cant imagine staying anywhere else. Great place and Great people!"

"We love using this place as our first stop over on the way to Florida. So convenient and they work with you that day or the next morning. Also we have camped there for a week or more during race season. We just love it. The area has lots to do plus I like to walk and we have a campfire every night."

"Glenwood Acres is a community of the best people I have met. Glenwood is not like a typical rv park. the difference is every one is non judgemental friendly but not overbarring. Residents here innately just keeping proper sense of common social etiquette supporting a safe feeling type of atmosphere with unrestricted conformity. I will go further to say that after living in a neighborhood my entire life it's therapeutic to be here safe from the drama LoL."

"I used to live in this neighborhood and when I did it was not very nice. It was dirty and the people living there did not care about it at all. I was visiting family in the area recently and decided to visit the old place, and I have to say it is almost a completely new neighborhood. I do not know who is in charge but keep up the good work. Also I would like to point out that this is not an RV Park, and the address is also wrong, it is nowhere near Davis Lake. Someone should fix that."

"Wonderful camp ground Mandy and J are very helpful for any thing you need and are wonderful host. Glad we got to experience the RV park, the only issue we had was parking our boats, we tournament fish and need to have our boats close by to prepare for our tournaments. The RV park has a charging station, which was great for charging our boats, but was not very useful for us to prepare our rods and reels for the next day of fishing. This park is great for camping, but wouldn't suggest it for tournament fishermen. Thanks Mandy and J for everything."

"Super accommodating, very kind. We had a roadside emergency whie moving cross-country with our RV. They took us in, no reservation, and offered to move another reservation if it takes us a couple days to get back on the road. On the way to our site, hubby hit and broke one of the well water posts with the enormous U-Haul we had to rent to move our 37' trailer. We immediately offered to pay for repair (I've seen a $50 standard for this). They were gracious and able to fix it easily. We also had to store items under our trailer while truck in shop, which gained a hesitant agreement, but we were careful not to be messy or overtake other areas. I'm sure if it had been a huge pile we would have been asked to clean it up or leave since gracious hosts have to be gracious on everybody's behalf."

162 KOA Ln, Statesville, NC 28677
"KOA Statesville journey North Carolina, is the best KOA we’ve stayed at traveling from California with Statesville as our destination. Make sure you get your reservations early, they book up every night. All the staff from check-in to parking are exemplary. With grass at every site and being dog friendly. They have several large grassy areas as well as a large and small dog park. My wife and I could not recommend this KOA enough. With gravel parking pull through sites, there’s plenty a room for your tow vehicle. Thank you Staff very much. Bruce and Linda Akers"

"Amazing campground! Quiet and away from the noises of the city. Not overcrowded like most campground amazing access to the river. The owners are amazing! 100% recommending to anyone passing through!"

"We spent three nights at the Fancy Gap KOA in April and were very impressed. We like the more wooded locations compared to the open lots and this site did not disappoint. The site is in the mountains so the location is a bit hilly but the RV spots are leveled pretty well. The staff is super accommodating and friendly. They maintain the location very well. The black top drives look brand new, the gravel drive paths are graded continuously, the restrooms are extremely clean, and their gift/convenience shop is one of the smaller that I’ve seen but had the best variety of gifts, comfort items, and RV supplies. We will definitely be back"

"Nice spot for my family and I as first-timers. Family owned and operated by Jen & Charles who greeted us and checked us in. They were welcoming and friendly. Well kept, outside and in. We enjoyed our Easter Weekend in the Motel part and it was perfect for my family of 4. Neighbors were friendly and pleasant. Trails are a perfect way to pass time. Red trail was steep and a great way to work out your legs and get that heart rate up. Overall, our stay was AWESOME! Thank you FGCC! We will be coming back and most likely with more people. Thank you again."
