"The only negative experience I had during the otherwise timely and well organized process of obtaining my child's vaccination record was having incorrect assumptions made about BOTH myself and my child's race on the information sheet needed to obtain my receipt; even when I explained that my daughter is not Caucasian, the woman slighted her assumption as "oh its just what the system says", well, its important to me that what "the system" says is correct; my child is black. I am Hispanic. She updated my daughter's race to "black/african descent, non Hispanic", which I told her was still incorrect. Her assumption about my background was insulting. Perhaps being able to voluntarily identify oneself on a form could prevent such occurrences. I was offended at the assumption and troubled by how miniscule the concern for the correction was in her response."

"I must demand that your office inspects the premises of the REBEW apartments on TPC Oarkwsy in San Antonio! I must advise your office that I have contacted the federal division. I hope your local office dies not need their oversight. I am disabled with severe respiratory issues. My extended family lives in this complex. This complex has changed ownership several times. I have addressed the issue with them that they do not change AC filters monthly as the previous ownership did. This has caused me great respiratory distress when staying with family here. This issue has also caused increased issues with my daughter who has chronic respiratory issues. The complex also has a dumpster in close range to units which has caused unrelenting fruit fly issues. In this era of COVID, my observance is that this complex is no compliant and has exacerbated my own and probably many other respiratory issues. Please respond. I hope your department can address this issue without reaching out to media and federal departments!"

"The COVID-19 vaccine program managed by San Antonio Metro Health is outstanding! I am truly impressed how efficient the program operates. I made an appointment by phone, waited 20 minutes to make an appointment that fit my schedule. Arrived at the Alamo Dome LOT C for staging 30 minutes prior to my appointment; police onsite and volunteers to direct each auto into rows of approximately 50 autos then moved to LOT B into multiple lines where my appointment was verified and then given a vaccine packet of paperwork to fill out while waiting in my auto. Was asked repeatedly if I was there for 1st or 2nd shot to ensure I was in the correct place. An EMT reviewed my vaccine paperwork packet and then received a shot that did not hurt at all. Scheduled my 2nd shot at a date and time that worked for me. Waited for another 20 minutes in line to ensure I had no adverse effects and was checked by another EMT. Total time 1 hour, outstanding! Thank you to all the volunteers, police, EMTs and nurses administering the shots and last bit not least the Mayor and his team at Metro Health, job well done!"

"After breaking my pelvis in five places I had continuous pain and the medications I was prescribed were causing me such side effects that I was unable to work a mentally demanding job. With Dr. Kim's direction and supervision, I was able to stop the prescriptions and transfer over to supplements which have been very effective in managing pain. Dr. Kim is very compassionate and has worked tirelessly to determine the best therapy to reduce my pain. He has also insured that all my questions are answered and that I understand the options thoroughly for my treatment."

"Comal county HD rocked for mass vaccination. Extremely well organized and smooth process. Kudos to all who planned and participated!! Thank you"
