The 10 Best Preschools in Charlotte, North Carolina

Preschools in Charlotte, North Carolina, US.

"All of the educators are awesome! My children love to go to school each morning. All of the Educators know the children as well as the parents. I love the communication piece of it all! I feel very comfortable dropping my children off because I know they will be taken care of, loved, learn skills needed to prepare them for elementary school and gain life long skills. The curriculum at Brighter minds learning center front loads most if not all of the standards that will be taught in the beginning years of elementary school. Thank you for going above and beyond for the leaders of tomorrow!"

"We LOVE Ivybrook. We have done summer camps and preschool there and we have been so happy with our experience at both. Miss Sandy and the whole staff have been such a godsend during Covid especially when their professionalism and positivity have been so key. My kids will forever talk about the teachers they miss at Ivybrook after starting big school :)"

"Kid Zoo is an outstanding daycare ! Both of my kids went there for daycare and after school. I thank god every day I found that place . I never worried when they were there. They came home happy and well taken care of thanks to Ms Kathy and the staff there. My 18 yr old daughter now works there. This place is a gem and we are proud to be part of the “family” !"

"This is a very safe place for children to learn. I am so happy that I was able to find them as soon as I did. I was given the same information on the phone as what I received when I went to the open house. My 6th grade twins have been attending weekly for about 6 weeks. Their grades have been amazing this first quarter. These ladies are very professional and knowledgeable to provide my children what they need to succeed. They give you advice if they feel that your child should have additional services in school and they offer homework tips to make learning fun for kids. Thank you so much for the improvement in my kids attitude about getting those good grades in school!"

"We absolutely love Pleasant Hill Preschool. The staff is wonderful. They do all kinds of fun, engaging, and educational activities all year long. Each month has fun themes so the kids can learn about different topics ex. Farm, transportation, health, Dr Seuss etc. My son has learned so much and begs to go to school. As a family have made a lot of new friends!"

"Wonderful staff and wonderful experience. My 2 yr son goes there and he was crying a lot initially. Ms Dana, Ms Melanie and Ms Claudia are very cooperative and always try to help each child there to soothe. Initially my son used to throw up out of anxiety and crying and they patientfully helped him go through that phase. They arranged for a plastic to tackle the situation, but never asked to take him back home for one or two pukes. However other schools normally send home after one puke and also send home if the kid cries a lot. Now my son has started liking to go to preschool. I really appreciate this preschool and it's care."

"It's nice to work at a school that feels like home! It may be a beautiful butterfly garden now but deep inside it's heart, it's still a little kids club! I personally love to see the school slowly come out of it's cocoon, the work Ms. Dawn and Mr. Brian are doing to it makes my heart smile. The children are encouraged to learn through play, the teachers enjoy their jobs and the director steps into a classroom to interact! It's by far one of the best schools I have ever been with! Every child that walks through the door is learning in a Eco friendly, Christian, Five star environment with teachers that strive for five star quality, not because of anything other than a PURE love for the children!"

"We have been at Lambs of Grace for over 5 years now, and my children have been loved ever single day. They have thrived and done exceptionally well in this child care environment. The love that these teachers have for the kids is unmatched."

"Beautiful facility! So clean and it doesn't even have that preschool smell! Friendly staff with a family like atmosphere! Love it!"

"At Trinity you can expect to meet warm and friendly people who worship with their heart, soul and mind, while always searching for new ways to minister to and with the community and world."

"My kids loved this daycare and they loved my kids! It was so difficult to take our new son to daycare after four months off with him but they made the transition so easy. All of the teachers were warm and welcoming and my son who was there full time, LOVED it. We unfortunately had to leave and we miss them so much! They knew us and the kids and it gave us security and peace of mind."

"We absolutely LOVE Sardis Weekday School - the preschool with heart! The teachers and staff are amazing - they truly care for each child as if they were a member of their own family. The curriculum is fantastic and includes lessons in Spanish, science, storytelling, music and movement, etc. They use the Zoophonics curriculum to teach the alphabet (and beginning building lessons on it in the 2-year-old classroom) but there is also an emphasis on having fun and being a kid. And the other families there are wonderful – I am so grateful for the friendships both my children and I are making through the school. If you are searching for a wonderful preschool (that is also a great value!) please consider Sardis Weekday School!"

"My 3 year old daughter has attended Providence Baptist weekday school for one year and we have been so pleased. The staff is welcoming, kind, and organized and my daughter looks forward to going to school every day. We switched child care a year ago and have been so pleased at Providence Baptist and look forward to continuing there for many more years. They offer wonderful programs as the kids get older - ballet, chapel, P.E., music, library. I feel like my daughter has a very loving and well rounded day at Providence Baptist! I would highly recommend it to any friends!"

"LIsa helped set my son on a path to life long success. At age 6, my son was diagnosed with severe anxiety. He was afraid to on new people which would prevent him from participating in a wide range of actives - everything from meeting new people to something as mundane as going to the park. Lisa's practice focused on how to make him successful by teaching him coping strategies that were age appropriate instead of trying to figure out why he was that way. By doing that we side stepped all the long drudgery of analysis and moved into the corrective action phase. This took all of about 6 months to course correct. Over the years, if there is a particular issue, we return to Lisa and in short order my son overcomes or deals with the issue. He's now 14, about to go off to boarding school and while he'll never be the life of the party, he's no long afraid of everything and will be successful in life. We wouldn't have gotten here without the gentle caring and compassionate treatment by Lisa and her team."

"Loved it. Very nice "learning through play" philosophy! The teachers are great and seem to truly love the kids!"

"Our family has been members at MPUMC for four years. We love their children's programs, young adult/young parents programs, and their small groups. Members of our family are active in the children's music ministry, Sunday school (children and adult), New Parent Visitation Team, Wired for Ministry, 12:12, and a Wholly Moms small group that focuses on working moms. The church leadership is very open and approachable. We really like the way James preaches and the message that everyone is invited to God's table. While we have heard feedback that church on Sundays can seem a little stuffy and formal, I would say to just come on in and meet the people and listen to the messages from our pastors."

Nice people who share their baptismal with our church

Great option for bilingual preschool education!
