"I visited all the piano stores in the area a couple years ago and between my family and I we have purchased 3 pianos. One upgrade. Working with Lamar and James has been amazing. Their knowledge in the field is surpassed by few and are talented musicians themselves. With the goal of getting the family what they need it is never a pressure situation, but a very comfortable experience. They allow trade in within 2 years for full value as well, which is why we decided to upgrade. Another easy transition. I highly recommend Classic pianos. They are one of the largest Bosendorfer and Yamaha dealers in the world for one reason. They are great, knowledgeable people with an inventory that ranges from beginner instruments to best in world concert grands."

"We are very happy with our experience at Northwest Pianos. We came in looking for a baby grand for our new home, and Cheri matched us up with the perfect instrument from their showroom, based on our price range and sound quality. She coordinated a couple of small cosmetic repairs, after which the delivery to our home was very professional. We are also impressed by NW Pianos trade-up policy should we ever want to take advantage of that in the future."

"Bought the piano with decent price. Had issues after the piano moved to my house by moving company. Chuck just came to my house and spent one plus hour to fix all issues. It is all about promise and put custom at first place."

"Nice range of quality refurbished and a few new pianos of many different manufacturers (Steinway, Yamaha, kawai, etc) from early 1900s to today. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable and were working on tuning and improving newly received pianos. Pianos to suit beginners to professionals. Seems they occasionally hold concerts there. My kids loved the Steinway concert grand. We were visiting from Florida. If we were living in WA and looking for a piano would look here, as much better value vs new and refurbs looked well done!"

"We purchased a Steinway Model B Spirio a few months ago and have enjoyed it increasingly over the break-in period which required tuning 3 times already out of 4 complimentary sessions. From the sales experience through today, we have had excellent service under the direction of the store Manager, Jordan James, who attended to every detail including a home presentation with video about the design and making of this fabulous instrument. The piano replaced a large grand I bought 42 years ago, a fine instrument in it own right. But the Spirio is a revelation! It plays as a fine grand independent of the "player" mechanism and when you hear it, you are inspired hearing all kinds of pianists as if they are sitting there performing for just YOU! The mechanics, voicing and clarity of this piano is the best I have ever experienced. It inspires me to practice more and simply play more for sheer enjoyment. I love it and will hopefully enjoy it for many years to come. I am so glad we met Jordan and his technician Yuri! Thanks so much. Richard Beaudry"

"Had the best experience buying a piano here with Aaron. Was in the market for a really nice used upright. Went to every piano shop in town and Seattle Piano Company had the best pianos at the best prices. And I have to say, the best salesperson/crasftman too. What is clear is that Aaron really cares for every piano that comes into his shop. The instuments here look and sound fantastic. The man loves restoring beautuful things. And Aaron's selling style is very low pressure and conversational which is exactly what works for me. He's just a fun, knowledgeable person to talk about pianos with. I came back on 4 separate visits during my buying process and he paid me his full attention each time. And to top it off, he was able to install a silent system on my 1979 Kawai for about 2/3rds the cost of other piano shops. Really happy to have done business here. Love my piano. Thanks Aaron"

"My daughter and I had a great experience at the Lake City Kennelly Keys Store. Patrick took the time to explain to us in detail, how guitars are made and which one would be best suited for my daughter. He even played her a tune on her new guitar as well as put on new strings. He was extremely knowledgeable about guitars and instruments in general. We were very happy with our experience and highly recommend Kennelly Keys for your instrument needs."

"Great place to buy a used piano! Sam took the time to explain the qualities among different piano models. He seems to be a very knowledgeable, skilled, and enthusiastic musician and piano technician. I was initially hesitant to purchase a pretty old piano but I was amazed at the sound quality from this 1989 Kawai US-63H model! With the same budget, I was able to get a much higher quality and well refurnished piano from this friendly local store. The purchase comes with one free tune-up and a 10-year warranty. Other piano store usually offers a 5-year warranty only with used pianos. Sam and Cherie also put together some music books to get me started as I haven’t played since adulthood. No problem with the piano moving company they use either. Sam was nice to accommodate my work schedule and met me at the store earlier than their usual open hours. Then Cherie followed up to ensure everything went well after the purchase. Cherie also sells homemade organic soap and the soap sample Sam gave me is wonderful too."

"I had a wonderful experience purchasing a piano here! They had a great selection (much larger than I anticipated) and their prices were amazing! They helped work with me on picking out the best one for my home and our family and worked to deliver it to our home before the holidays. I don't typically leave reviews, but if you are looking for a piano in the Washington area this is the place to go!"
