"Organized a bachelorette that started the day here. Was perfect - such a cute space with fun decor. Had an amazing teacher that helped us to rally the bride. The class was easy to follow along and not too hard. Did these bridge lifts with bands that left our butts SO sore."

"*Support Black-Owned Businesses* I have been putting off jumping back into working out since I have left the military. As a disabled veteran, it can be difficult to motivate myself to get into the things like exercise, etc. Last week I decided to go all in and I purchased the Vibranium membership (20 classes & 2 Guest Passes/mo) and went to my first class on Mar 10. As of Mar 15 I had only not gone one day (rest is important)! When you enter Harlem Cycle, you walk right into a cozy waiting area and shop that has water bottles, Beyonce-themed candles, healthy snacks, and more! The staff are incredibly kind and make a great effort to remember who you are. All of the items for sale are incredibly reasonable in price for the quality that you get. The workouts take you to the club, if the club happens to be up some very steep hills. I have now had 4 different people's classes and each one brings its own vibe, but that vibe is always a bop. As someone who /hates/ going to the gym because of the monotony, I really enjoy that I can get lost in the music and vibe while getting enthusiastic encouragement to push myself. Another nice thing is that there is no skill level requirement. The staff will help you set up your bike, and will constantly encourage you to listen to your body on how hard to push yourself. If you were wondering if you should give it a go, this is an excellent place to get your feet wet. I'm hooked and will likely be going 5x a week for the foreseeable future!"

"The doctor was pleasant, engaging and listened to all of my questions and concerns. I had a few last minute questions and he returned to address them before I left the appointment. I am grateful to be recommended to him for my concerns."

"I was a bit skeptical about whether I needed PT for a torn calf muscle, but the doctor recommended it, to ensure the healing would go smoothly. I'm glad I went for the PT, doubly glad I chose Fit Club NY - Chelsea, and triply glad I had Kerry Nolan to work with for 10 sessions. I found Kerry to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly-but-professional, and able to provide me with a varied series of graded exercises that I think were exactly what I needed. I highly recommend Kerry and Fit Club NY - Chelsea."

"I have been going to sessions at UpFit since November and in just under 3 months I can already feel slight differences and improvements in my strength and stamina. The small group trainings are the perfect combination of 1:1 attention from trainers and a fitness class setting. You get a tailored experience for your specific goals, so while you're not doing the same workout as the person next to you, everyone is positive and encouraging to help you push yourself. That healthy peer pressure is something I personally find helpful. Going to an open gym with little direction and routine always left me feeling overwhelmed and frustrated, so if you are looking for a more disciplined workout and are ready to make the commitment and change for yourself, UpFit is a great choice to get you going."

"Sometimes when you are walking to your intro-tour at big chain gym, you find something even better - which was exactly the case with TS Fitness. I found TS by luck, but am so happy I did, and left the other gym on read. The way TS is set up perfectly fits what I need in a fitness routine - I come in for the time slot/class I've chosen, and someone tells me exactly what to do, how many reps, and watches my form to make sure I'm doing it right. There's no guessing or pre-work for the session on my end. Plus, every member of the staff treats you like a friend - great personalities on top of excellent fitness/exercise science knowledge. Would recommend!"

"Custom PT is amazing! They're true experts!! I've been working with Dr Lisbeth Hoyt, recovering from some health issues/injury that prevented me from running for 8 months. She is very competent and empathetic. Her manual therapy extremely good!! And I really appreciate her advice on running, strength and stretching exercises because they've been helping me to make great progress!! Within three months, I went from zero miles/week to 18 miles last week. She knows what she's doing. Highly recommend."

"Hands down, the best gym ever! The owners and every single coach there is very passionate and extremely good at what they do. They are all very accessible for any questions you may have. Their feedback for you is super specific and helpful! The coaches also do the right level of nudging and teach you the right techniques for you to make progress. I went from 15 lb dumbell shoulder press to eventually 50lb barbell shoulder press in 4 weeks (one of the several such examples I can give about their classes and coaches). The energy in every class is so contagious. I have been able to hit some personal bests and do some exercises that I have never imagined doing just in the last year or so. I should also say that I started at Trooper as a complete beginner for the type of training they offer and saw improvements week over week on all aspects of my training. The progress itself boosts your confidence and motivates you to set better goals for yourself. I am a very happy customer! Check out their classes, I am sure you will sign-up!"

"If you’re looking for personal training then I honestly don’t think there’s anything better than BUF in NYC. Just look at how many other 5 star reviews this place has. Everyone here is super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. It’s not boring at all. Everyone is easy to get along with and most of them are very funny. Before choosing BUF I searched far and wide for affordable and quality personal training programs. I obviously didn’t try all of them, but that’s mostly because they were expensive. On top of that, most personal trainers require you to have or purchase a separate gym membership, which is an additional cost. To be honest the main reason I chose BUF is because it was the most affordable option, and you pay as you go. It’s not like you’re paying upfront for a few months, or even a single month. I chose BUF because of the price but don’t let the affordability fool you. The level of quality I received is far beyond the price I paid. They have their own facility so no extra cost for a separate gym membership. And most of all, they were all fantastic at their jobs. If you’re serious about personal training, then give this a shot and you won’t be disappointed. If for some reason you don’t like it then hey, you pay as you go so you don’t really lose money if you decide it’s not for you. Give it a shot."

"I've been training at Catalyst for over a year and I can't recommend them highly enough. The trainers are all very knowledgeable and they put together great personalized workout programs. I've seen big gains in my overall strength and conditioning since I started. The small group training sessions allow you to take responsibility for achieving your own fitness goals while receiving the perfect amount of individualized attention from the trainers. The kettlebell skills classes are another highlight."

"I’ve both been to The Ness’s studio and used their digital program, and no matter how you choose to bounce with them, they’re the absolute best fitness studio there is! The trainers are SO friendly, the routines are original, and no two workouts are the same. They’re open to teaching you at all levels, so it’s a completely come as you are atmosphere that feels welcoming and warm from day one. I’m a bouncer for life!"

"Joey is an awesome personal trainer. He motivates you to feel and look your best. My mental and physical health are in a great place. He teaches both balance with food, life and working out. I have a very busy job so having someone keeping me on track has been extremely helpful. Thanks Joey!"

"Conbody - well, I have been coming here for a year now. These classes are like nothing I’ve ever done before. I love the challenge of my own body weight, HIIT style, minimal breaks. I’ve noticed improvement in my form for certain exercises in my time being here. If you are doing something Incorrect, the trainer will come over and help correct form. Also, they will give some modifications if the position is too difficult. I keep coming back because I’m challenged every time and I see results!! Love the dark lighting, especially at a 7am class. Music is good, depends on who’s teaching. All in all I’ve made good relationships with almost every teacher and I will always recommend this studio. DO THE TIME!!!!"

"My girlfriend and I had great PT consultations. Ambika made us feel very comfortable and heard and personalized the exercises and advice she gave us for each of our conditions. We learned a lot and will be doing the recommended stretches/exercises. I would recommend Deva Physical Therapy to anyone and everyone that needs PT!"

"The programming is solid and thoughtful—tons of “clang and bang” workouts, of course, but also methodical strength training that builds up over the course of weeks. Classes are fun, and the coaching is top-notch. For intense workouts, classes are broken into heats, which means even more individual attention from the coaches. I usually work out during open-gym hours, of which there are lots (and during normal hours—a rarity in the city, at least). Videos for the entire warm-up sequence and individual movements are available on the app, which I find extremely helpful. Plus, Andrew is always around to explain, help devise substitutes, spot you, and just shoot the breeze. Only good vibes here!"

"We had such a great and positive experience renting out the space for our brand photoshoot! Jared was so friendly and thorough in making sure we had everything we needed for a successful shoot. I would definitely recommend the space! Can't wait to work together again in the future."

"I lost a lot of strength during seven weeks in the hospital (emergency surgery, then complications). Kristen did a thorough evaluation of me and developed an exercise program designed to address my problems. She also sent me an email showing how to do the exercises on my own. Paspa has been extremely helpful as I work to recover from the effects of my long hospital stay."

"I love going to Lifespan. All the instructors are great, Cynthia is awesome, Leeju is wonderful, Nancy-Jean is great. The classes are so good and my body feels simply amazing and stronger after every session. Whatever type of body have the instructors will challenge and guide you to the best of your ability and with consistency of continual attendance your body will transform. That's how I always feel and much more. Love it there !"

"I started with a free women self defense class, really appreciate still. I'm beginner so take Level 1 classes. Most are HIIT w/ kickboxing towards human shaped dummies, and a defense/escape technique at the end. Then train w/ partners. I love this style a lot. The studio dummy targets are so far the most cool place I've seen too. Some heads up is about the billing. I choose the weekly pass as I have other yoga class, or sometimes a break week during period or busy week. Need to email the billing department and there was some confusions. You can only book class from Monday to Monday for the week. They also offer other programs like class punch cards style, or legacy programs etc. Love here so far and every instructor are professional, nice, patient, and COOL!"
