Today is the first time I met Ms. Edman and I have to say, she was extraordinary, magnificent, outstanding, wonderful, impressive, remarkable and exceptional! I have had a few bad experiences until I met her! I now believe I have found the perfect place to put my trust in!!!! She explained everything I needed to know and I didn’t really even have to ask her to. Which has been the greatest thing about it all! The N.P I seen the last time at a different office couldn’t even explain to me what she was thinking or why even after I asked several times….. Now I feel like I can really relax and let these people do their job and if they say I’m okay I really am!!!! They are very thoroughly so if they said I need an endometrial biopsy I would feel okay with that! The last place I went to said I needed one but couldn’t even give me a reason why and even said everything was normal that would give cause to need one, so I was left terrified!!!! Until today when Ms. Edman said there has not been one reason that would need to be done yet so after seeing tears in my eyes she said “that’s off the table now so forget it” But I will say she is doing everything else just to make sure, even though we both think there’s no need for that biopsy!!!! I just feel so relieved and comfortable with what was said to me today!!!! And her as a NP I got to give credit where it is due!!!! I feel blessed to have came across this place and the the people!!!! -Brandi Jackson

Durnell was the on call physician when I had my baby a week ago and he made it a terrible experience. He was so inappropriate. He made jokes and mocked me. He acted like delivering my baby was an inconvenience for him. Thank God that the nurse was wonderful and helped to make up for his horrible attitude.

This review is not for Dr. Filozof but for his nurse, Stephanie. I went to the E.R. for cyst pain, THEY told me to follow up with my Ob/Gyn on the following Monday, so I called to make an appointment, instead I was transferred back to the nurse, Stephanie. She said "No need for an appointment as it is not an emergency, we will do a follow up ultrasound in 3 months." (Note to add, I already had this pain for 3 months prior to me going to the E.R.)And I replied "How is it not considered emergent when I'm taking mg Ibuprofen every 8 hours, and it's still hurting?" Let's just say I had to BEG, just to get an appointment. After feeling like a crazy person, thinking someone else knowns my own body better than I do, I said anybody who would believe me, Planned Parenthood, they even called Dr. Filozof office saying that I was an emergency case and needed a sooner appointment, They got transferred back to nurse Stephanie and all I know is she was rude to them too, they asked if I wanted to switch doctors and I did. Dr Whites office is AMAZING, instead of waiting 3 months, they said after this cycle and we'll see if it devolves on it's own. And I called them and said I had a problematic cyst and instead of assuming they know my body better, they actually let me make an appointment within a week. Not in days.

I couldn't have had a better experience with Dr. Lowden. He always took time to explain things and never rushed but got to the point and was very kind and made me feel comfortable. He just delivered my second child and I actually had a very beautiful and pleasant experience which I didn't know was possible as I tried 2 different Dr.s with my first baby and both were traumatic experiences. Very happy I chose Dr. Lowden with this pregnancy.

I was sending a nurse practitioner and she sent me to him to have a diagnostic laproscopy. He came into the room and said, I'm not going to do surgery on you cause you have PCOS. Which was the first thing my last THREE DOCTORS checked for and I don't have. (I did the blood test and it also came back NORMAL.) He still tries to get me to take metformin, and I tell him I'm not comfortable with taking a medication without a reason. Then he demands to do a pelvic exam and I ask why. He's reason, he literally said because he wanted too. Afterwards he tells me that If i cant even get through a pelvic exam then He won't help me. I left crying cause I was in pain and didnt do anything wrong. My new doctor is amazing, and has great manners. Dr. Shockley will only help you if you do everything he says and dont question him.

This is the best OB/GYN in this area. They have the best team. Diane and Dr. Shockley have provided the absolute best care through good and difficult situations since I have gone to them. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

In my experience, Dr. Irvin is very kind, thorough with communication, knowledgeable, accommodating, and very good with my medical care. She was my OBGYN with my first child, and she is the doctor I chose for my current pregnancy as well. I’ve been exceptionally pleased with my care over the past few years and plan to continue my care with her in the future.
