Dr Miles is rare in that he genuinely took the time to get to know me. He doesn’t rush through his appointments. Instead he listened to my concerns and helped me understand all my options. I have followed him from the other groups he was with because his care is that good. I highly recommend Dr. Miles to any woman that is looking for a OB/GYN.
First let me say this, I would give zero stars if I could. I started going to Dr. Wilson when I decided I wanted to get an IUD. I had the IUD put in and kept it for a few months. I decided that I wanted to get it removed because I wanted to take a break from birth control since I had been on it from the age of . When I went in for my removal appointment, I went in with my boyfriend at the time. We previously had conversations about this decision and knew that it was best for me. Dr Wilson was incredibly condescending and belittling during our discussion. When I told him that I wanted to remove it, he immediately started to question me on why I wanted to do it, and made me feel stupid for wanting to. He even turned to my boyfriend and asked “how do you feel about this?” As if it was his decision or his body at all. It didn’t stop there, after what felt like forever of trying to convince him to remove this thing from MY body, he said, and I quote “well, when you come back in a few months for your first pregnancy check up, don’t say I didn’t tell you so.” This was absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. I had a horrible and traumatizing experience with Dr Wilson and would advise any and all women thinking about going to see him to NOT. Side not- it’s been a year since I’ve started natural birth control methods and I am happy to report, I am not pregnant.
I recently had an appointment with Dr Jessica Rhodes and she immediately made me feel very comfortable. Her people skills are incredible and she's very knowledgeable in her field. Seeing doctors gives me a lot of anxiety but her friendly, professional manner put me at ease immediately. I'm deeply grateful!
I appreciate that Dr. Zolzer takes time to answer all my questions and even asks me some that I haven’t thought of! His easygoing nature puts me at ease and allows him to give health recommendations without coming across as preachy. The front desk and nurses are always friendly and helpful, too.
Dr. Adam's and the whole team are amazing. We're having our first little one soon, and I cannot tell you how much peace I have in knowing I am in their care. The whole staff spends so much time with me, and I am sure with everyone that walks through the door, to ensure we receive the best care possible. I have not yet felt like I was a burden, or that there was a rush to get me out of the door. I recommend them %. ****Update**** We have now had our little one and nothing changed. Dr. Adams and his team were amazing throughout the time of whole labor and delivery and postpartum care. He took extra time that I did not expect to really calm and comfort my husband and I during labor, then came the next day (on a Sunday) and spent almost an hour following up, encouraging us as parents, and complimenting our little one. If you are having a baby, or looking to in the future, and are searching for the best care possible, this is it.
Dr. Adams did a wonderful job during my delivery. He is very informative and made me feel comfortable. The nurses there are great and are very caring. The only problem I had an issue with is I wish they would have worked with me a little more on my payments. My husband was in a bad car accident during my pregnancy and money was tight at times but other than that good experience.
The receptionists and nurses were all very friendly , the facility was attractive, and the wait time was minimal to be seen by the doctor. I liked the fact that the doctor could access my records easily through Novant and her exam, diagnosis and recommendations were thorough and professional. Overall I would give this facility a out of and I would return and recommend it!
When I had my first baby I was recommend to go here since they accepted medicaid. They had a great staff and all the midwives are super friendly. During this time they were still alert of the Novant hospital in Huntersville. When they opened the new clinic location, it was much further of a commute but the staff was nice and I really liked the midwives there so I didn't mind the drive. My last visit was the first time in 2 years going to the clinic. All the staffs had changed and the midwives were different. I felt like when I mention the problems that was bothering me the midwife did nothing. I also felt like the nurse assisting made a disgusted look when they checked down there. Which made me felt very uncomfortable and not taken seriously. The once friendly staff that was working there was nonexistent. The front desk girls were not the friendliest either. I won't be going back for my next visit.
