Here is a review from an user.
I have been taking lesson from David for over 3 years ....he is an awesome teacher. So far I have bought 3 used accordions from him ...all in perfect working condition. I would highly recommend Mac's Accordions.
Great people, great instruments. No matter your ability level, they will be able to set you up with a fabulous instrument. We drive from the Southern California coast for this place. Highly recommend.
I recently bought a guitar at Family Music Centers. I had called a few places to get prices and idea of what was offered. Spoke with Bill at FMC. He had a friendly and interested tone and readily answered my basic questions, as I am no professional. It was then that I decided FMC was the place I was going to find the guitar for my son. I was NOT disappointed. Bill showed me a handful of options and explained their differences. Very affordable. There were obviously far more expensive options. But, my son is a beginner and extravagance would be wasted. Lol. Because of the affordability, I also bought an amp and a carry bag for the guitar. Electric guitar, btw. I have yet to give my son his Christmas present. But, I am excited and very pleased with my experience with FMC. Bill was helpful, informative, and had a very gracious, comfortable demeanor. I'm considering lessons for my son. I am one of those loyal guys that when I'm impressed, they've earned my business. FMC did that. I highly recommend them.
Mr. Soto was very sweet and understanding. He adeptly accommodated to my circumstances when I needed to get my bow re-haired. I greatly appreciated the quick and amazing service, and will definitely be going back to Soto Violins in the future.
I've been a customer at Violin Outlet for over years and they have been incredible. They have just about everything one could ask for: Bows, rosin, shoulder rests, sheet music, instruments (some electric ones too), cases, etc.. I also appreciate that I can get repairs done there as well. Friendly staff, never too busy to chat or let you try out instruments.
My daughter has been attending Nevada Music Academy for several years for singing. She has worked with a few different coaches, but they have all been very good. We have seen her grow over the years, and she really enjoys it.
I decided to go outside the box and I'm very happy that I did. No one, not Amazon, not Guitar Center, or anyone for that matter could beat their price. When dealing with customer service, which was a pleasure, they were honest, up front and willing to make the customer a lifelong customer and they really cared. They weren't there just to make a sale but to ensure the customer got what they really needed. Even though I spent quite a bit, it was well worth it, see pics, and again, nobody came close to their support, customer service or price.
This is an AWESOME music store! The staff is very helpful. I came here when guitar needed new strings. Good people work here and cool people come to this Sam Ash! It's fun to look at all the guitars they have. You can even play some of them to see which one feels the best in your hands!
I own two violins, both of which have suffered from a sad combination of enthusiasm and neglect. Long ago I could play the things competently, but life got in the way, as indeed it most always does, and so my instruments have been very occasionally put to use; and when I did pick one up conditions were never ideal.... Out of tune and suffering from the occasional knock, my oldest violin was in particular need of tender loving care. Enter Kessler & Sons, where, at the Cheyenne store, Fernando, a pleasant and very knowledgeable young fellow, rejuvenated my best violin to a high standard. Fernando not only restored elements of it that badly wanted love and expert attention, he did so at a fair price. Bridge, sound-post and strings were replaced and the tone of both instruments mightily improved. Kessler & Sons is a wonderfully professional outfit that we heartily recommend--I am delighted to have found this excellent firm!
My father and I just finished building a custom guitar with Daniel at Sixx Gun. It was an absolutely amazing experience! I've been playing guitar for most of my life and didn't even realize how much goes into building one. From what we learned, all of Daniel's stories, and getting to work with truly experienced luthiers who are always willing to help, it made the whole experience that much better. As for the guitar, it plays fantastic! And is a beautiful one-of-a-kind piece. Being able to say I built it is all that much more sweet. I % recommend Sixx Gun for anyone who wants their gear taken care of the right way.
This is the type of store that you go to when you're out shopping and aren't sure of where to go. You can spend hours in this place because the selection is so vast. I went looking for CD's and before I new it my hands were full. I will definitely be back next time I visit Las Vegas.
A great selection of music, the used cds i get are always a great quality and play excellent in all of my devices. I managed to find a few rare and little known bands that I've heard on the radio. One of the local bands of Vegas the day after.. album a different way to get by showed up in their inventory. To put in perspective how hard it is to get this CD, its not listed online and most used cd shops don't have copies listed. I trust their stock and the layout at this location is expensive. I have a lot of fun bringing friends and my wife along while we go on binges of what we can find from the past in albums and movies. A great place to kill time.
I cannot recommend Roman Guitars enough. In my personal experience with Scott, not only did I get an amazing guitar, but I was also given a military discount, plus they paid $ more on shipping than I was charged. Due to the amazing level of service I received, plus the incredible year old guitar (NOS), and everything else considered, I will be buying here again!!! I'm a Kramer guy since the s. You don't have to be to shop here though. Roman Guitars is more than that. You might be surprised about the spectacular bargains you are going to find here. I certainly was!!!
This is an amazing local business that provides excellent amp and guitar repair and has some amazing vintage gear. They fixed my amp twice and only charged me once which was extremely kind. He also used to build guitars with my dad at Mahoney‘s so I am a little biased.
Edit: I was promptly issued a refund for the incorrect bow and the situation was explained to me by Gliga. The quality and craftsmanship of my violin is evident and the price was more than acceptable. I do not want to slander a small business and given the opportunity and more communication, I would do business with Gliga again. This was a learning experience for everyone involved and I am confident that it will not happen again. Original review: I finally received my violin after days of countless unanswered phone calls, emails, and messages. The communication here was virtually non-existent until the day before my order shipped. During that one phone call, I was promised a call back about the status of my order, but never received one. Meanwhile, the money had been out of my account for the entire time. I know that some things cannot be rushed, but I would have felt much better about the whole process if I could have just talked to someone over phone or email. On top of that, my violin shipped with the wrong bow. Again, no one answers the phone. I am happy with my violin, but this process has been absolutely awful.
New location, very little wait time for fuel. In and out..
It's not very often that you come upon a family run business anymore, that is run by the family, and that has been run by the family for many years. And this family seems to be doing it right. It's such a pleasure to watch pops to pops and the sun's following in his footsteps. Well I've read a few negative reviews on here, I found the the father and sons to be rather charming. They are so busy, when you approach them, I would encourage you to just have some patience. If you're looking for a slam bam I know everything. I wouldn't bother the kesslers, they are they are highly loved in the community, and really the classiest game in town. The facility is beautiful, the inventory is beautiful, And the staff is quite charming and very pleasant. It's been years since I've been in a musical store, and was a little intimidated, because I'm re learning how to play an instrument from my youth, and I felt a little intimidated, worried that I would be looked down upon. But these guys have been professionals for decades, and work mostly with young learning, or newly learning want to play musicians. I was treated with respect, even though I didn't really know what I was asking for or what I was looking for. Having been self employed most of my adult life, ...... I could see and understand they didn't really want to rebuild the year old saxophone that I brought to have serviced, primarily and obviously because they're just overwhelmed with business. God Bless 'em! They have a nice sized staff, and probably fit as many employees in that building as they could fit.. My expectations were managed and my requests were accommodated. I'm starting a new journey, and I'm very happy to have begun this journey from the counter at Kessler and sons. When a business is that busy, something something must be going right. And being born and raised in my family business prior to going off on my own, it comes down to family. If you follow my reviews you know that I rarely believe anyone deserves 5 stars. To me 4 stars is excellent. But the fact that Mr. Kessler stopped what he he was doing, and said hello and took a picture with me made me feel very comfortable. And as I get better as I return my saxophone, I plan to purchase a brand new one from these great people. In fact my experience was so positive, I wish I worked there. If u've read this far, thanks for liking this and all my reviews. :-)
Lovely store with a good selection of acoustic and electric (covid has everyone short for merch) amps, pedals, strings anything you could need. Jesse, the owner is helpful. Don’t make the big box guys more money. Keep small businesses going by visiting places like J&G to spend your hard earned 💰.
Eric was personable, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. We have two beginners this year. He took the time to answer all my questions clearly and kindly. He made sure my kids were equipped with beautiful violins. Their website is easy to navigate, and the insurance protection plan gave us piece of mind. The violins came in stunning cases! They even delivered everything to our front door. Thank you Eric and the entire Dixon Music team. We are truly blessed to have found this company.
