The VA sent me to Dr. Brooksby for my eval. Doc was impartial and listened attentively.
Laura was super welcoming! I can’t wait to work with the team soon!
I had a wonderful experience getting my evaluation from Dr. Wical! He was very thorough, professional, patient, and precise. He was also very easy to talk to and very good with communicating the process after our visit. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get an evaluation/mental health services done.
They are a two in one affordable counseling and infinite possibilities. I've reached out several times this past month seeking help call and email. I received a call back once more than 2 weeks after I left a message. I returned the phone call a few days later and still haven't received a follow up. I understand being busy but it doesn't take 2 weeks to return a call it doesn't even take more than three business days to return a call. If you are really seeking help go elsewhere! There is a lack of communication, lack of empathy, and unprofessionalism that alludes to you just even trying to make an intake appointment. When you're actively trying to find help due to mental health battles and struggles things like this can be a setback for some of us and can be discouraging. I'm thankful that I did find services elsewhere but this is just a warning to those steer clear of this unprofessional business. Unless you're not in urgent need and you are willing to wait weeks to receive a call or email back. If that's how you like to flow with things this place is perfect for you.
Josh Gates was hands down the best therapist I have ever had and I credit him with having a hand in the immense growth in my life.
The office staff made a mistake while doing my sons intake involving our insurance. The gal I spoke with assured me that she had verified the insurance prior to me scheduling my sons appointment. After my son had already done his consultation appointment it was brought to my attention that the visit wouldn’t be covered by our insurance and I would have to pay in full, out of pocket. This was their mistake and the therapist Stephanie D’Cruz still insisted that I would need to pay. I find this extremely unprofessional because I would have never scheduled the appointment in the first place had I known it wouldn’t be covered. Mind you, there was no therapy given, it was just an intake appointment. I am very disappointed in our experience at Northwest Counsel.
Ive battled Ptsd evolving into C-Ptsd For 8 years. this facility had a gentler approach to ptsd treatment and didnt antagonize me for my need to pace or take excessive showers to attempt to calm my anxiety. I was visited by my counselor in person, phonecalls were not monitored, There was freedom to simply be. and there was compassion and healthy food everyday.
