"I really enjoyed this place. My son used to cry every time we went by there saying that he wanted to learn. I finally signed him up and he really enjoys it. It is his favorite time of the day and the schedule is very flexible. Master Joseph is really great with him. He is 5 and he is always talking about Master Joseph. I would recommend this place to anyone. The staff and everyone there is really kind and helpful. I signed up for the year already and don’t regret it."

"I am so excited that Korea Taekwondo-KTKD opened up there second location in Corona, Queens. I have been a part of KTKD for four years now with my son taking classes. KTKD is an awesome place to learn martial arts. The masters are amazing and is very nurturing, caring and family oriented. They have the passion to teach and go above and beyond for each and everyone of us. I can definitely say that my son has gained confidence and more focused in all areas in his everyday life. I highly recommend this school for your child and family!"

"This is my favorite martial arts school in Astoria. They have good instructors for Brazilian jiu jitsu, judo and Muay Thai. I was looking for a place that is local to Astoria and happen to come across a sign. Didn't realize they were located at the train station. Training here makes my life easier."

"Fantastic classes, as a result it became a family affair! It started first with my partner’s little one. Immediately I liked how Professor Marlon tied together BJJ with character development and strong morals for daily life. The kids really take to heart his lessons!! Professor Marlon as well as his students are very welcoming and motivating, as a result my partner and I joined next. The class availability make it so flexible for each of us to throw a class in multiple times a week."

"This place has a great mix of BJJ gi & nogi classes, along with many muay classes at a variety of time slots. There's even a space to do some barbell/weight training. On top of all this, everyone is welcoming and nice. The trainers are also very knowledgeable and cool. Loving the vibe of this gym."

"I currently train here and the whole program and experience is extreamly friendlyand informative. Everyone here treats eachother like family, they have a variety of programs and overall is juat a 5 star."

"My children attended Krystek for a couple of years.  We left only because we relocated to another State. If I'm being honest,  the only thing we miss about New York is Krystek's. Here's why. We left about two years ago. The pandemic hit shortly after we left and so we did not go on the hunt for another judo class until recently. My kids, without our input,  commented on the lack of discipline and substandards of other places. They based their feedback on what they learned from Sensei Krsytek. His level of discipline, motivation, and teaching skills are rare. Even though it's been over two years since we left, Sensi's lessons stuck with my children. If that's not a testament to Sensei's work, then I don't know what is. It was a true privilege to have our children taught by him. Even I drew motivation from him as I watched and listened when he taught the children.  I would highly encourage parents to take their children here, or take a class for yourself! Don't let the opportunity slip away. You don't learn this type of skills, discipline and character development at regular schools."

"I've been going here for 8 years now and I absolutely love it. Grand Master Sop Huh teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Tae-Kwon-Do for kids and adults. He really breaks down details to techniques to make them more efficient. It's almost like getting a private lesson every time. I highly recommend giving it a shot."

"I have started my training with Coach Roger in September, and I can't describe how much I love this class. I don't have actually any background in Taekwondo or self-defense, so it's can be difficult to teach without this background. However, (사부님)Coach Rogers is very fun, and he's always very patient, and he encourages me to strive to reach a new level! I’ve gotten so much flexible and powerful, and now I can kick high and strong. I highly recommend this school and Coach(사부님) Rogers."
