First off / HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Now down to the nitty gritty. This is amazing food that you simply have to try and it honestly ranks as the Top places I have ever eaten, and I've eaten at countless places. You will be hard pressed to find a more unique and utterly delicious menu anywhere else. Please make sure you order the Carne Asada Fried Rice if it is still on the menu when you go.
Truly had the most wonderful, intimate birthday dinner here. Staff were so accommodating and friendly, the atmosphere was lively, and the food is always so, so good every time. Got a complimentary slice of Tres Leches cake too! Cannot praise this place enough - every dish we've had here over the years has truly been delicious and so filling. Personal favorites include the half chicken simmered with tomato olive sauce, their spicy hot sauce, and their fried plantains. And their salad with fresh greens, avocado and tomato is so refreshing. But honestly everything is so good, I've never had anything less than a fantastic meal there. A must-try for Latin American food in Seattle :)
Our favorite chef moved to this restaurant from up north. This is such a great place. Very authentic Honduran food, most of which we've never tried before. All of it was great! Thank You Carlos!
Amazing food. As a Dominican in Seattle this is the closest thing I have to my mom's cooking and they did not disappoint. I will for sure be going back and recommending this place to friends and family.
Walked in around noon and had a great chat with the owner. The environment was great, and he said it was family owned and run. The restaurant was empty at that time of day, and the food came out in record time. He welcomed me to the neighborhood before I left, very kind and down to earth guy. I got a carnitas burrito and it was SO GOOD! The salsas were on point and as well. Excited to frequent Luna Azul and try the menu, lots of good choices to pick from.
Everything was pretty good! Ordered a taco salad, nachos, and Chile relleno plate. The taco salad was pretty heavy-handed with the rice and a little bit of lettuce at the bottom. Next time will likely ask for no rice and more lettuce. The nachos had the beans underneath the chips which I thought was smart, especially for takeout.
It was like eating at my moms, if my moms was here in Washington! I'm super picky about my pernil (slow roasted pork) it cant be under roasted... which is possible. And this pork was PHENOMENAL! I was not that hungry and I ate the Whole thing! The service was Fast! And they were so friendly. I went with my boss, and she had the mojo chicken
We always have the best service. We walk into the bar there usually is never a wait. I love the fact the bring water without ice & the servers are always filling up the glasses. I always order the same thing because why mess with perfection. The brisket tacos are to die for & with he guacamole Carlitos way with a shot of Mezcal. All the servers help each other so the service is quick friendly & polite!
Amazing sandwiches!! They support Veterans, very friendly staff. The ingredients are fresh, bread and meat are spectacular 😋. One of the BEST sandwiches I've ever had. Highly recommended! Definitely a lifetime customer now.
Awesome meat to bun ratio for the most popular "#1 sandwich" which is generous amounts of pulled pork on a warm toasted bun. Get the napkins out, the juices are going to drip all over if you're not prepared. Just the right amount of fat and grease that it won't make you feel uncomfortable. Location is near Showbox so it might get packed, 4 free parking spots out front. Slightly cold inside, but the sandwich hits the spot. Cuban pork sandwich was around . after tax.
