Here is a review from an user.
Me and my husband are Mandoo lovers.😁 We bought 2 king kimchi, 2 king meat and a mini dumplings. I couldn't take a picture because I ate it all in the car on our way home. 😋 My husband likes meat mandoo and I like kimchi mandoo. The ingredients in the dumplings are fresh and contain chunks. It's so good!
Not to be missed! After reading the reviews online, my wife and I drove ~3hrs round trip to visit. With certainty I can say it was worth it. Incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind owners who make superb food! If it's your first time ask for a recommendation. We splurged and tried alot. Everything was incret. Definitely get the king dumplings, pork w/ chives, and sweet spicy fried chicken! Thank you for treating us so well! Can't wait to visit you all soon again!
One of the best places to get really good tofu soup, stews, and Korean pancakes. Their pancakes are just perfect- crunchy, crispy, and full of flavor! The soft tofu soup is just melt in your mouth good, and their other stews and soups are always made with love. The ladies who do service here are always so friendly and quick. Don’t forgot to ask for purple rice and their barley tea. It just makes everything that much better, especially during the rainy weather of Washington. Make sure to eat here when you can.
Went on Sunday 3/ you can now get your own meats and sides. Don't have to order from that menu sheet when covid was strict. You do have to wear your mask getting your food. Tried most of the meats, all good. The sides, kimchee's etc are good too. Ordered Kim Chee fried rice but that took time getting to our table. Everything was good
I had ordered takeout from here several SEVERAL times after trying really hard to find a good Seolleongtang (설렁탕) soup. Somehow I stumbled across this brand new restaurant (to me) and ordered a few things to try. Basically I order from this place at least once a month now. Tonight I made up my mind to go and sit in and try the actual gopchang and daechang and the other delicious goodies I only saw on TV. OMG I was not disappointed. The atmosphere alone, the inside of the restaurant transports you right to Korea in a small village or street where you have shops that you can pick from to eat street food like these grilled intestines. Do not be afraid to try new things! I was at first very nervous because I am not Korean and my husband isn’t either so I was scared of being judged. Never fear because the owners there are so kind and welcoming as ever so please do not be afraid! So the first thing we did was order large intestine because I have never had it before. ZERO regrets! It tastes like the crispy fatty part of bacon and oh so smokey and wonderfully cleaned. No weirdness at all because they really care about their food preparation. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy eating here. For beginners I would definitely suggest that large intestine because the small intestine has a more bitter taste. For people who don’t want to eat this at all, there are mushrooms and really good beef brisket you can grill! The dishes are served with picked radish and a plate of green chives that you will eat with the grilled food. It comes with dipping sauces as well and some really good hot spicy soup to warm you up for your meal. You can order some deliciously unique purple rice separately or some ramyun noodles. Everything is appropriately distanced and you are seated privately and separately from other patrons. I love it. Give this restaurant a shot! Also don’t mind the loud noises from other diners who are rambunctious. It is because you are encouraged to drink alcohol here with these kinds of food and I think it’s so nice to be in such loud and happy company where people are eating delicious food and drinking delicious drinks. Truly the best most unique of Korean BBQ experiences in Washington State and the only one that is a true and proper GOPCHANG restaurant. AND THEY OPEN LATE SO YOU CAN DRIVE DOWN FROM SEATTLE WITH NO TRAFFIC.
This place is so good! Very pleasant staff! We usually get the Dol-sot Bi-bim-bap - hot stone bowl with rice stirfry. SO good! You get a bunch of different sides and it’s all so filling you can literally split it or have lunch for tomorrow. I love love love the fried fish that they include on the side as well. Highly recommend checking them out!
Hands down the best bulgogi and kimchi I've had. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff was friendly and my order was correct, fresh and came out quickly.
Been here a few times now, mostly out of curiosity at first, but have fallen in love with it. The fried chicken, bulgogi, and special chicken are amazing. Everyone there is super friendly and just love the atmosphere as well. Definitely a great place that looks unassuming but has some great food and comfort style to it! Best part? They're open pretty late, :p and that just works for those who don't like to rush for early dinner.
Despite the few translations for the Korean items, this was a great place! The owner guided me to the # (see photo) which was a pleasantly spicy broth with mostly veggies and some meat. It was very filling. Don't wear a white shirt if you order this soup! But do come hungry and ready to be full
