It's a pretty popular korean restaurant. Don't forget to make a reservation before coming for dinner if you don't want to wait for hours. Had a great dinner experience. The BBQ was great, but the side dishes were not that special. Servers were friendly though.

Fresh and delicious food! I wanted to visit again the next day but they’re closed on Sundays. Food was so good, and didn’t disappoint. Highly recommended if you’re in Nanaimo.

Hole in the Wall? May be! who cares when they serve amazing food! This is inside the Shell Gas station and you have friendly folks taking your order and serving you a delicious meal! They offer meals that are take out and you can eat while anywhere you want to. B Bop is for Beef, Po Bop is for Pork and Chi Bop is for Chicken. We ordered Chi Bop and with Spicy rating of 7/. They ask for a Spice Level when you order and please be cautious of the spice rating. We love Spicy food and spice rating for 7 was the perfect spice level, anything more would have been difficult! The Chi Bop is stir fried chicken which is doused with min of sauces on a bed of rice, thin noodles and salad. This was amazing ! we also ordered Mandoo (chicken) which are chicken pot stickers served with their special sauce. Plenty of parking, you get your dish within 5 minutes! will come to try other Bops!

Went on Sunday 3/ you can now get your own meats and sides. Don't have to order from that menu sheet when covid was strict. You do have to wear your mask getting your food. Tried most of the meats, all good. The sides, kimchee's etc are good too. Ordered Kim Chee fried rice but that took time getting to our table. Everything was good

Love this small and cozy restaurant. The tofu soup is the best in the neighborhood. The fish roe dish is visually impressive and yummy

An unusual but fun dining experience that I highly recommend! If you do the buffet option, which is what we chose, the server brings you rounds of meats and veggies, which you then fry to your liking at your table. The meats were very tasty and fresh, and I enjoyed all the sides that came with it (rice, salad, and a variety of pickled veggies)! I suggest starting out with some of the thinly-sliced meats so you have an idea of how long to cook the food. Our waitress was matter of fact, kind, and helpful in answering all our questions. My only complaint is that the garlic shrimp was very difficult and messy to eat. It came with its shell (and head, I believe), and regardless of if you peel then cook, or cook then peel, it’s a very messy process. I will probably not get the shrimp again, but the other meats we had were great!

I always love coming here to eat. The soft tofu stew is so soothing, comforting and delicious. The side dishes are always very tasty and varied. The ingredients and recipes here seem like home cooking, with quality ingredients and care put into the dishes. And all for a reasonable price! They are closed Sundays, but come another time for a special barbecue with friends or family, or a menu item!

Very good quality meats and delightful staff. My wife and I have had Korean BBQ Countless times across 4 states and this may be one of the best. Definitely the nicest and most attentive staff and the bulgogi was top notch. The accouterments to supplant the meats were a wonderful compliment and all went very well with the main course. Good price as well. We will be coming here again, for sure.
