One of the places I miss most about not living in Portland any more and the place I am constantly coming back to when I come in to town. Everything is so delicious. Love the new sausage menu items.
My husband and I ate here today and had the spicy pork barbecue and the spicy chicken barbecue plates. It was the perfect spice level and the food was very tasty! I enjoyed the glass noodles that were soaked in what I think is soy sauce? Delicious! We will definitely come back again soon!
K-Town Korean BBQ in SE Portland is fantastic place to have a great dinner that is also a lot of fun. Whether it’s with friends or with family or with both, the experience, food, and service are all excellent. The all-you-can-eat offers you five rounds of orders. And the portions are always plentiful. You should try the cooked egg; it looks like a soufflé in a bowl! Just fill out the sheet with all that you want and they’ll bring it over.
Absolutely divine. Waited minutes at K-town BBQ and it was clear we were not going to get a table in that Smokey and oily environment, gave a call to Kkoki, they said they were busy (week before Thanksgiving) but said we should stop by. The wait to sit down was longer than usual but I could tell the servers were doing their best. Despite last call happening soon for all you can eat, we didn't feel rushed and they served quality meats. Great food, ambience, not smokey, and most importantly, very very tasty and fresh BBQ meats and banchan. I believe we paid dollars total with tip, come hungry! Servers were very polite too and attentive, especially when we asked for an extra side of fish cakes. Would stop by this location again in the future! I wish they had BBQ places like this in Seattle!
Enjoyed a delicious dinner here on Saturday night with a group of 4 we finished Combo B. We’ve been here about 4 times now and would recommend it again. The meat quality was good and really enjoyed the variety of side dishes. Now they only offer 2 rounds of bon chon and charge for additional.
Super clean and fresh food! Prompt and friendly service. The mashed potato salad made me drool. The garlic beef is a must. Only meh was the curry chicken- it didn't have much flavor and the grill flavor overpowered it. Everything else was perfect. We also tried their house yogurt drink...amazing. Excellent parking, facility is good for elderly and people with disabilities. love it here and will be back!!
Very much worth the money! The place is clean, the staff are very friendly, and the meat is good quality. Staff always make sure your drinks are filled and that you have a clean griddle.
I wanted to try out some all you can eat Korean BBQ in the Portland area. This place is the only Korean BBQ all you can eat in this side of town. I have to say that the staffs are very friendly and do all they can to ensure I had a great time. The food is good and perhaps better then Gens BBQ. They have good side dishes. I would recommend ordering 1,2,3, and from the Premium menu. I forgot to say that the name of the place is King Kong Korean BBQ and not what is listed on google map.
Warning: VERY tasty!!!!! Gotta say first off their bathrooms are very clean. The combo gave some meats that were exquisite. The savory steak slaps harder than an angry female. It did take a while to make the food, but since you cook it, it definitely helps. Very pricy, but worth it for sure (I'd recommend the combos). My advice would be to remember to put the lid on your rice!! Due to the long cooking time after a bit my rice got cold...still tasty though. Rice be rice.
Great experience with the kids to enjoy a meal this way. Meat was delicious and tender. Sauces compliment the meat very well. Very large selection of items! Also a great array of sides (you can even request a specific one you like). Each person also gets a bowl of rice and the table gets a salad to share.
It was such a blast and fun experienced for my sisters and I. We went there to hangout and celebrate my one year anniversary of bone morrow transplant compliments of my beautiful, wonderful, amazing sisters that my Daddy God has blessed me with. Praise Holy Spirit for always protecting them. But anyway, food, and the actual experiences choosing our own meats, 4 different types; making/BBQing our own meats; and having an all you can eat orders of meats and vegetables too. So fun for all of us!
An unusual but fun dining experience that I highly recommend! If you do the buffet option, which is what we chose, the server brings you rounds of meats and veggies, which you then fry to your liking at your table. The meats were very tasty and fresh, and I enjoyed all the sides that came with it (rice, salad, and a variety of pickled veggies)! I suggest starting out with some of the thinly-sliced meats so you have an idea of how long to cook the food. Our waitress was matter of fact, kind, and helpful in answering all our questions. My only complaint is that the garlic shrimp was very difficult and messy to eat. It came with its shell (and head, I believe), and regardless of if you peel then cook, or cook then peel, it’s a very messy process. I will probably not get the shrimp again, but the other meats we had were great!
What a fantastic eating experience. My first time eating here, the service was great, lots of smiles and yummy food. We grilled our own dinners right in front of us. FANTASTIC...
Where do I start well this place is your some what traditional type sushi place. But the FOOD is very very GOOD. I think it is the BEST sushi place in town no doubt about. I travel and been to many sushi restaurants this is one of my new favorite places to go if I'm ever around. Not only food is good the customer service is awesome. Even the chef welcome you in. Sit at the bar once you start socialize with them the experience get even better well for me it did Chef was very friendly and he LOVES when you ask for chef special. He truly poor his heart into the food he makes. Definitely coming back if I'm in the area.
Excellent Korean BBQ experience! I used to live in Korea and was dismayed that there was not a decent Korean BBQ restaurant in Eugene. I am happy to report that my search is over. Kkoki Koeran BBQ Eugene is the place to go if you have a hankering for authentic Korean BBQ and kimchee (among other Korean specialties). The all-you-can-eat format was a great value for the money. The portions of meat are extremely generous. Because of this, if you are dining with another person, I would suggest that you order small portions of each meat so that you are not overloaded on one and can sample various types. If you want great Korean food, this is the place to go.
I always love coming here to eat. The soft tofu stew is so soothing, comforting and delicious. The side dishes are always very tasty and varied. The ingredients and recipes here seem like home cooking, with quality ingredients and care put into the dishes. And all for a reasonable price! They are closed Sundays, but come another time for a special barbecue with friends or family, or a menu item!
I visited for the first time today, but it definitely won't be the last! My boyfriend and I loved this restaurant! The service and food was great! And everything came out so quickly!
Went on Sunday 3/ you can now get your own meats and sides. Don't have to order from that menu sheet when covid was strict. You do have to wear your mask getting your food. Tried most of the meats, all good. The sides, kimchee's etc are good too. Ordered Kim Chee fried rice but that took time getting to our table. Everything was good
Came in during lunch. Note: Parking lot, while free, is shared with other businesses on site with the majority, I believe, being over at Mama Pho. Understandably so as I would have been over there myself getting my egg rolls on (there SOooo good). But I was craving some spicy squid stir fry [오징어볶음 -Ojingeo-bokkeum]. If you're into spicy foods and love squid, ojingeo bokkeum is right up your alley. Promise. Warning: You might want another bowl of rice just to mop up the sauce left behind. Also had their seafood pancake [파전]. DaeWon is definitely NOT stingy with their seafood filling. And it was cooked perfectly: just the right amount of crisp and golden brown. That pancake alone could have been a meal in itself. Other things to note: - decent spread of banchan - when you get your bill, you can scan the QR code and pay your bill at the table, never having to head to to the counter or give up your credit card to anyone. Receipt is immediately sent to your email. Would I come back? Absolutely.
I absolutely LOVE this place! Their food is great quality & delicious. The price is great for what you get for all you can eat Korean BBQ, plus the side dishes. I love their kimchi, spicy fish cake, and much more! I wish I didn't move because I will truly miss this place. / would recommend.
