Japanese Restaurants near me in Dallas, Texas, US.

"I myself love fish if you had told me you can eat raw fish with rice wrapped around it I will say stop lying but I've tried it for myself and quite nice try some for yourself you m i g h t like it it"

"The Katsu burger was SO good! Probably one of the best I've had, nice crispy exterior, but tender and full of flavor, the veggies are also a great touch that brings some freshness to it! Overall 10/10, definitely making this a regular spot."

"Tried this spot before with a friend and I am obsessed since then. I enjoy the awesome atmosphere and tasty dishes and beverages. 5 stars."

"Had the chance to take some family for their first time eating Poke!!! Been making it for years and was happy to find such a highly-rated place near my ultimate destination that I could share with others. If your on the fence about Poke, I basically describe it as a Rainbow Roll in a bowl... You have a base (sushi or brown rice or a selection of salads), two or three proteins (chicken, tofu, shrimp, or various raw sushi-type fish chunks), then a bunch of toppings and sauces. It's just outstanding!!! Super clean, just the right amount, and it just never makes you feel gross unlike a lot of the fried foods you get elsewhere. This place also lets you do it as a Poke Burrito (same ingredients wrapped in Soybean Paper) - nice! Also, plenty of sushi rolls and teriyaki items to choose from. Definitely worth a shot!!!"

"What amazes me is how precise and orderly everything is. It’s fun to watch them make the udon, which tastes amazing. I love the beef one (I don’t remember the name but the picture is below). My one advice: I got sake, which has a magnet at the bottom of the cup. Don’t poke the magnet unless you want sake all over your jeans. Besides that, I had a great time."

"Tasty & rich! If someone would have told me Dallas had really good ramen I would have been skeptical but whew, this ramen compares to a few good spot on the US West Coast! Solid selection of options on the menu including chicken broth ramen, karage, some really unique drinks, and the traditional selection found at a raman restaurant. Really really flavorful and tasty! The layout was fun featuring a bar upfront where you can watch the chefs work their magic and booths for parties of 2-4. Good times, will definitely revisit."

"The best sushi experience I have had in Dallas, hands down! My wife and I visited Uchi for a special date night to celebrate a new job and we were incredibly impressed. We allowed our waitress to put together an 8 course menu working off a few recommendations from our side and boy did she deliver. We loved everything we had, and it was so fun to try unique incredibly fresh fish flown in daily from Japan. The other great thing about Uchi is the atmosphere, it is such a cool place, and being able to see the fresh fish being cut right in front of you is amazing."

"Sushiya in Dallas was delicious! We are in town from Chicago and St. John Indiana for the Tom Ferry Success Summit and decided to try some local restaurants within walking distance of our hotel, The Omni. The service was good, the food was delicious and the price was right. The menu is slightly limited compared to what I am used to but the quality was up to par and they did not disappoint. If you are in or around Dallas and in the mood for Sushi I would give Sushiya a try."

"First, I'll say that I had been here once before during the height of the COVID shutdown. I was wanting to order ramen from Tanoshi, the former place at this location and since it isn't around anymore I decided to order takeout from Ichigoh. I had a chance to talk with the owner for a good 30mins when I went in to pickup our food and he explained the concept of the restaurant and how he trained in Japan how to make traditional ramen and that this was the only place in town that did it that way but the problem was I really did NOT like the ramen at all. We decided to go back and sit down and I will say that it was a totally different experience. The service was a tad slow but forgivable, the ramen was very different from any other place I've been to, and delicious. I ended up swapping my Tori Paitan for my dates Spicy Soboro Shoyu. Both were really good in their own right, but the Shoyu was hitting the spot. It caught me a bit off guard with how spicy it was though. The karrage was really good as well. Highly recommend, I'll be back."

"Listen I think the owner knew exactly what they were doing when they were they made the spot specifically located in the most coolest neighborhood ever. My mom loves this spot so every time she visits we go. Also it is such a cute rainy day place every time it rains I cannot help myself but to go have a incredible vegetarian bowl of Ramen. Very nice for date night most definitely. I know I only posted a chicken, but I had the veggie bowl which was absolutely amazing and the spicy miso is my all-time favorite."

"THIS PLACE WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We went here tonight for my daughters 16th birthday (her choice) and it was definitely a great choice. The “all meat” platter (10 different meats) was delicious and more than enough food for 3 people. The 3 different sauces that goes with the meat was very good as well! The staff was very friendly and our waitress Angelique was very nice and definitely deserved her tip, she also surprised my daughter with a birthday surprise at the end! In conclusion, we DEFINITELY will be back and I will spread the word on how great this restaurant is! WE LOVED IT!!"

"Tasty food. Wide selection (sushi and sashimi, bento, noodles, rice dishes, fried and grilled dishes, appetizers, dessert, alcohol). Great customer service and staff. Good portion sizes at good prices. Have dined in multiple times and will continue to do so! [Dec. 29 Update] Added photos from recent dinner. Still 5-stars."

"Okay finally I thought of reviewing my favorite restaurant. I should have done it few years ago though, I am regular at this restaurant for last few years. This is my sushi fix for every other week. Never had a complaint about the food quality of sushi or sashimi. I may have tried a lot of things on the menu here, few of my favorite has been sushi and sashimi, rainbow roll, shrimp shumai, Creamy shrimp is another one that my son loves here. A small but cozy place for your sushi cravings, service has always been good. The chef is a gold star and his love for serving great food is second to none. Lunch special is best bang for buck where you can get pre fix menu or buy 1 get 1 on sushi and leave happy with your choices. The house saki is great and they have Sapporo draft. Can’t stay away from this place …… feel so happy to have found this place."

"Dude OMG I’ve been living in the Galleria/Addison area for a year and didn’t know about this place. Smoothest freshest Sushi, intimate atmosphere, great location and hospitable staff. I couldn’t say enough good things. Really affordable too, great date spot.. I’m toxic as hell not for me but for you; great date spot bro. Tell them I sent you. It’s a great Sushi spot probably one of the best in Dallas low key."

"This place has been and is always great. I've been coming here since they first opened and will always when i get a taste for good Asian/teriyaki food. Same cooks and management as far as i can tell. It never fails my expectations. Ive ordered everything off the menu, and its all great! Large portions and good quality cooked to order food. No complaints when it comes to these guys. They have this sweet ginger sauce that is to die for!! Better than duck sauce."

"I drive almost 2hrs just for this. It is amazing! The salmon just melts in your mouth. The service is great. They remember me and I haven't been here in 6months. I have not yet found anything I do not like."

"I generally order to go from here and it’s always amazing! I get the lobster roll, the spicy salmon and fatty tuna roll(pictured below). I finally dined I’m a few weeks ago. And it was a great experience. The sushi is so fresh and tasty. You sushi is served from a slate plate, made to order right in front of you. The portions are good as well. The drinks were great as well."

"Stopped by to celebrate my 31st birthday had a blast! Very traditional Japanese setting and cuisine await you hidden behind a wooded stone path. Elegant, romantic perfect for a nice dinner date and outings with friends. All the fresh sushi and sashimi one could ask for can be found here served on a huge stone platters. Bluefin tuna and the baby yellowtail are definitely top tier. Robata Washu beef coupled with a strawberry panna cotta in my opinion is the only way to end the night here."

"Such a cute place. I got the king roll with spicy mayo on the side. They even added cream cheese to my roll upon request. It was very yummy. I got my roll in 5 minutes. Everyone was nice. Will definitely be coming back."
