"Joe Benny's was a little smaller than I expected, but the food, service and drinks were awesome. We got an appetizer of best balls on the block, I got the cold cut and my partner got The Baltimore Foodie pizza. Everything was quote tasty!"

"Needed real Italian bread for dinner with the in-laws. Grabbed lunch too. The meatball subs, with homemade mozzarella, were huge (2 of us could have shared it.) The eggplant was tender on the eggplant sub. Lots of goodies, wine, pasta. Definitely a new favorite spot."

"Fantastic overall experience! Garlic knots: 10/10 Cheesesteak: 8/10 Pizza: 7.5/10 ( not as good as a NYC pie but good for MD) Very friendly staff that offered a free cup of Italian ice to my daughter and coloring sheets while we waited. $35 for all three items."

"Very friendly, engaging staff that definitely cares about the food they sell. The restrooms were very clean and well-stocked. We ordered the meat lovers pizza. The crust was a bit sweet (the cook adds a bit of sugar). However, the pizza was scrumptious. This establishment makes their own dough and sauce from scratch. We also met a customer who has patronized this establishment since 1986. The staff here knows all their clients by name. Would give this place seven stars if I could based on the fact that the staff know all their clients by name."

"Vinny’s Cafe is exactly what an Italian restaurant should be. The only thing better than the food is the friendly service that treats you like one of the family. I dined in both times I had to stay in the area and can’t wait to get back. I am looking forward to the formal dining area opening to see what that looks like. Thank you for the wonderful dinner."

"Remember that wonderful nostalgia you got when you got visiting pizza hut, and your parents told you that you can get your own personal pizza? This is that high you've been chasing. Matthew's Pizza, a Baltimore staple for many years slams. The price is reasonable, the ingredients fresh.. ordered it's with jalapenos and they had a great kick. The sauce tangy, the pepperoni tasty and the cheese fresh and gooey, the crust the right amount of airy. My only qualm with this place is the pie was small. I could eat a pie in one sitting, again see my trip down memory lane above, but it's priced right for the quality and size."

"My wife and I go here for date night anytime we can find a babysitter for the kids. We love the atmosphere, the ambiance, and most of all the food. La Scala is our go-to anytime we’re in the mood for Italian because no place else matches the menu. We always order the grilled Caesar salad to start off and the lobster special never disappoints. The sauce is so creamy and delicious we continue to eat far after we’re full just because the taste is out of this world. We’re moving to Florida soon and will miss this place for sure, but we’ll come back here anytime we come back to visit! 5 out of 5 stars"

"Great Italian food at the heart of Baltimore little Italy’s area. Menu’s are all from scratch. Pasta are tender and fresh. The beef ribs taste really good. The seafood are cooked right to my taste bud. It’s a good experience to be here. Daniel was very helpful in explaining the menu."

"What a beautiful gem that we happened upon during our first trip to Baltimore! We had the place to ourselves (first ones there as we had a plane to catch) so we were able to chat with the owners. The artwork is just stunning, the place has such a cool vibe. And the food was beyond our expectations! The pizza was the closest we’ve had in the states since traveling Italy. Can’t wait to come back on our next visit!"

"Delicious and better than I remembered. My first time visit was in college 10 years ago when it was just a bar setting serving pasta. Now 10 years later, I'm here with my wife, 3 year old, and mom. I was blown away at quality and how simple yet flavorful the pasta was. We ordered the Burrata Caprese, Spaghetti Carbonara, Linguine Zia Teresa, and Bambini Pasta Burro e Formaggio (for the toddler)."

"Despite having very short hours of operation, generally 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, this is a very popular Italian delicatessen and grocery store that anchors a small strip mall in rosedale. It has been a favorite of mine whenever I get the chance to ride by and frequent. I stopped in on this particular day for a cheesesteak sub and a pound of antipasto salad which always more than lived up to it's reputation! Daily specials are always available here and the Italian cold cuts and meatball subs are fantastic. Also worth trying are the pasta salads and sauces."

"This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. I sat at the bar because I was dining alone and I enjoyed that experience. I was able to talk with the bartender about which food he liked and he also made a great recommendation on red wine. I ordered the squid ink pasta with crab and it was out of this world delicious! It paired perfectly with the red wine I had too. If I visit the area again I will certainly be back. A+ on food and service!"
