"Very friendly staff and amazing service! This was the only place close to the SW entrance to the Mt Rainier that had vacancy, and to be honest I can't explain why. Because everything about this place is fantastic. They have very friendly staff and the rooms are renovated rail cars! There's a great pizzeria right next door, also served in rail cars, or a nice country bar and grill just down the road with terrific American food. This place deserves more love than it gets."

"Full facility Good location Spacious Zakusi Bath facility Kitchen with all facilities Games also Fire place too. Central Temp setting facility * wifi was limited speed Price reasonable I would rate 9.5/10"

"The negative reviews are from soft and pampered people expecting this place to be some fancy inner-city, high-rise hotel. I can agree that the cottages need some TLC but if you're coming here for the mountains then you need to toughen up a little. I spent all day in the woods so it didn't bother me that the place felt a little weathered. It was 9°F outside when I visited and the fireplace was more than enough to keep us warm throughout the night. You're literally steps away from the National Park entrance and their store sells almost anything you might need, including tire chains, knives, beer, firewood, and food. Kenny is a kind person and his staff is very accommodating."

"It was a lot safer than Tacoma and more cleaner. This is a really great place to stay I would recommend it for everyone to stay. But I rather be at home with my woman and her sons."

"Good prices decent front desk employees and for the area hardly any suspicious activity. I had no problems but seems like potential for some. Also police pulling over quite a few cars leaving this spot. I wonder what for?"

"Staff here are so wonderful. The ladies at the front desk have been so helpful. Keeping us informed and checking us twice making sure we are doing our stay right..... After 30 days of staying here, we qualified for a tax exemption and to our pleasant surprise got rewarded 5 days, paid, out of it! Was awesome! Thank you for looking out for us ladies! Appreciate the great customer service!"

"Our experience at the National Park Inn in mid September was excellent, from the clean simple room to the delicious food. While the dining room was closed, we were able to order from the menu and eat the food take out style on the front porch or in the sitting room. We never had any issue finding a place to sit. From our seats on the front porch, we were able to see Mount Rainier. They also had a warm drink menu. After hiking all day, We enjoyed sitting on the porch and having a warm adult beverage...my favorite was the Camp Muir...it was hot chocolate with peppermint and a few other ingredients. So good on a cool day with beautiful scenery. For lunch I thought the grilled chicken sandwich with pineapple was delicious (and a little messy with the sauce). For dinner a couple of our favorites were the steak, salmon, and bison meatloaf. The mashed potatoes, asparagus and broccoli sides were very good."

"A pleasant and warm hotel nestled in a peaceful and quite wooded area. The staff is kind and attentive, and the price is perfect. If you should find a lower price offered for stays online, the front desk will match any advertised price. Additionally you will be saving them up to 30% on recovered revenue. As of my last visit they also offer Smoking 🚬 and 🚭 Non-Smoking rooms/suites. Accomodations are spacious and well appointed with mini-fridge, microwave and coffee makers. For additional sleepers, I like that in the King Suite, the couch was a fold-out sofa bed, in its own partitioned space, converting back to a living room."

"Currently still in the room. This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. The front desk phone line goes no where. We tried our own phones too and got the same. The toilet is broken. Not clogged, broken. The bed is all springs. They clearly took 1 pillow and split in 4 parts and slit that between 2 rooms. Also there's an actual hole in the wall hidden behind a dresser. And there's just trash all over the parking long and the halls. Don't stay here. Don't be fooled like we were."

"An absolute gem! Marvelous location, incredibly comfy bed, lovely room, outstanding view, and kind, helpful staff. A perfect stay - I'd come back again and again!"

"Beautiful view and the weather was wonderful that day. Lots of activity on the water, seals, kayakers, paddle borders, boats and birds. Very eclectic collection of furniture musical instruments and other items. There is a photo history of the property which is very interesting. Built in 1905 some of the original furniture is still present as well as furniture the family brought with them When they moved in. For the most part the property is aesthetically pleasing however when you go out to the dock and turn on and look at the house, is very cluttered and junky on the lower floors not pleasing to the eye at all. I found the room we stayed in to be very dusty. The fan at the window had a fair amount of dust on it so it could not be used unless you wanted to clean it first. Overall it was a nice stay"

"Was in town for a memorial celebration for a very special person. This place was top-notch in accommodations and customer service. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling for any reason. Special thank you to Natasha."

"Used for airport parking: great service, car was well looked after, and the shuttle is quick due to its close proximity to the airport. We called them when we got back in to SEA, and they sent it right over! After reading another review, I should note that we booked online and had no issue."

"The staff are excellent and rooms were clean for a good price. We had a late night flight and the front desk held our luggage and arranged the shuttle for us after we got back from exploring the city. Great location, just a few minutes ride from the airport and a ten minute walk to the sky link!"
