Here is a review from an user.
Flat mile extremely easy hike from parking lot. Accessible to hybrid bikes; don’t necessarily need a mountain bike. Do however, need all-wheel drive vehicle; preferably truck to access parking lot. Visit during Autumn holidays like Halloween and won’t have to deal with crowds as much. Hanging bear canister at every camp spot. 4 pools with different warmth temperatures. Bench to relax on inside cave of hot spring. Icy cold separate pool located just next to hot and warm pools. Highly recommended spot of retreat.
Absolutely amazing place to stay! The beds were super comfortable, the rooms were cozy but was on the third floor so had to walk an extreme amount of stairs. I had a bigger truck with a ' trailer and was able to make it to the hotel and had plenty of room to park. The staff was very nice and helpful, the original building had a lot of pictures and articles of the history of the hotel, very cool place. The bath house was busy so didn't make it over but it is included in the price of your stay. Will definitely be back!
I love Carson Hot Springs. I’ve been coming here for years. While the owners have changed and the prices have gone up the service has remained consistent and friendly. I don’t mind paying more to help for much needed updates, staffing and cleaning. I will l be back and bringing a friend; just one friend. I don’t want too many folks to know about this place! The quality of the water is amazing. I love getting a longer tub because I’m tall and my favorite is getting a tight body wrap of blankets. They have 3 showers but one was out of service. There is a sauna and a new public shared pool.
We went for our first visit since the fire. Driving in and reading the fire wall is heart breaking, but the experience is still amazing. They lost a lot of cabins, and things are in flux, but it is yet a peaceful retreat with most excellent hot water. The library was sacrificed for overnight guests and the food service worked differently but we easily found other places to lounge and thought our lunch was as delicious as ever.
Four one or two person mineral baths. Cleaned about one a week by the caretakers. Temperature is about degrees. Three dollars for all day access.
Dont waste your money! The owner will ruin your day over and over again. She is rude and constantly yells at the kids, even when parents are standing right there and the kids aren't doing anything wrong. They told us we would have to leave after 2 hours because they were busy, but kept letting people in and never offered a discounted price. We will never be back and simply because the owner is a horrible rude person. The facility was ok but there is zero privacy in the bathroom.
We had a wonderful time at the pool the last few days. The water is warm and it is an incredibly kid friendly establishment with a large pool for swimming and a smaller/warmer pool for soaking. We have been coming here since I was a kid and Jenny had some of the best customer service we have received when coming to Zims. She is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. She was very helpful finding a couple of sweatshirts we left behind and making arrangements for us to pick them up, when we called. 😀💕
We stayed here in our RV, and it was amazing!! My husband and I love going to hot springs (nature and resort style), and this was one of our favorites! The soaking pond being hours was the best. You can go out and watch the stars at night, and you can wake up and hop in for a soak, too. The closest town is like miles away, so this place was remote and so peaceful!! We can’t wait to return!
Stayed here with a friend last week, we splurged and stayed in the Otter Woman Suite which was gorgeous!! Bed was huge and super comfortable. The fire and views of the lake and mountains made the night even better. The pools were very crowded and kids were using it as a playground which made it a little less relaxing however they have a hotel guest only time which made it worth it. We had Dinner at the restaurant and had a spectacular table and server (Morgan). Our server was absolutely amazing and made the night. She went out of her way to accommodate allergies and make drinks that worked for us. The food was served fast and tasted amazing. Would recommend this beautiful spot to anyone looking for a unique experience!
A wonderful hot springs! Road going in is pretty rough. Best to drive a 4WD truck. Lots of potholes. But its so worth it! CASH only! Bring towels or $3 towel rental. Bring lock for locker. Need covid vaccination card. I shall return!
We came here for a baby moon. Highly recommend for those pregnant ladies! There are several pools heated to around degrees. It was so perfect. We stayed in the River View Lodge. The room was huge! Food was great! The pools are exactly what we needed! We will definitely be back!!!
We've been coming to Nakusp as a family for years. I'm so happy to be back again after these past 2 pandemic years. Staff was friendly and helpful, the pools were amazing as always. I am going to have a hard time getting back on that highway to head home. Thanks Nakusp! See you sooner than later!
I went here a few years ago and it really sticks in my mind as a place I need to return to! I was on a solo trip and popped in for a quick dip, which turned into being an afternoon of fun! I met so many people, everyone was so friendly and we all chatted! There’s one warm pool with a circle of fun, where the water flows, a hot tub, and a cold cold, get in for seconds, kind of tank! Amazing beautiful spot, and great prices!
I had a great time! Water was lovely in those swanky pools. Very friendly service. Cute building/room. Nice view. There is also a fun little bar right next door. $4 beer, pool table, and some video poker. Our room was a bit dusty, though nothing a deep vacuuming could not fix. I would return to The Lodge at Lolo Hot springs.
My husband and I went to Lolo Hot Springs on the spur of the moment for a weekend getaway. The room that we stayed in was absolutely beautiful! It was very clean and very cute. The hot spring pools we're amazing! I didn't want to get out of them. I will definitely go back again! In fact I am planning to take my surrogate mom this coming weekend.
