I got my hang 2 with Willy spring of . Willy is an amazing hang glider and an even better instructor. As a pretty petite girl who's never been terribly athletic I wasn't sure if I would even be able to pick up hang gliding. But with plenty of help and support I ended up having the best time and left with solid novice skills and a huge confidence boost. :) Willy really has a knack for picking out the bits of technique you can adjust to get through every rough patch. After each flight we'd go over what could be better and he'd always be ready with often several suggestions of what I might try differently next time. He's always happy to answer questions and provides sound & simple to understand explanations of the basic principles that help a lot in building intuition. The long days of perfect flyable conditions and drop dead gorgeous view from the training hill help too. Pretty much the best thing ever. :)

Truly the best HG instruction in all of N. Cal.

There is actually a ' launch site not on the Google Map. I suggested to add it but wasn't approved. Google replied that they could not verify it. More people flew down at the ' site. Both sites have breathtaking view.

Hands down some of the most gorgeous views of the northern west coast. Lots of walking, bring your hiking shoes. You won't be disappointed. It is free parking, no bathrooms. You climb and walk at your own risk. Lock up your car. Great pics of the sun setting into the ocean. There are benches at different points for sitting or capturing a beautiful family picture. Enjoy!

One of the few places in the city that allow off leash walks. From the main car park, the left staircase past the hang gliding area takes you down a couple hundred feet down the bluff to the beach, the middle route takes you to a patio with ocean front views, and the right houses a variety of trails that eventually loops you back to the car park, ends up back at Skyline Blvd, or if you're ambitious, can lead you to the Great Highway. My puppers love it here. And in solidarity, I too, love it here.

My experience with Eagle has been one of professionalism, care, and safety! I signed up for a day course, and had to have more. I immediately signed up for my P2 lessons. Throughout my training I found the instructors to be extremely knowledgeable and accommodating to my specific needs. This crew comes with decades of history and have perfected the training program. People travel to Eagle Paragliding School from all over the world... if you have an opportunity to train with them I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!

I think the elevation of this one is at ft. There are two higher launch sites that are at ft and ft! The view there is unbelievable. I don't do it myself but enjoy watching it when I hike the nearby trails. [I think this is the landing site. There are three launch sites at different elevations.]
