Relocated to the area and was eager to get a fresh new look. Stumbled upon Taylor’s information and so happy I did. He was very professional and even educated me on maintenance. Definitely recommending him to anyone. Go check him out!!!!

Lori did a phenomenal job with my damaged, box-dyed, hair! She knew how to best cut my hair to flatter my facial features, and she had suggestions for ways to make my hair healthy and easy to maintain. She listened to me, and created a haircut that makes me feel put together. Thanks Lori!

I have been going to Joni for the past 3 months for color and cuts and I can't recommend her enough! My hair has literally transformed from dry/ dull to shiny, healthy & soft! 💇‍♀️ It's a perfect combination of talent and the natural products she uses. I always trust her recommendations and she has not let me down. I only regret not trying Joni sooner, she is A-Maise-ing! 😅

The ladies there are always super nice and friendly. They're very gentle with your hair and don't tug or comb too harshly. The only downside and why they didn't get 5 stars is it's a little pricey. $ bucks for a trim, and I don't mean a hair cut that feels like a trim, I'm talking she snipped in 5 places total and it took maybe minutes top. That seems a little excessive but still better than some salons so I'll give it to them. Edit: Oh and another reason it didn't get a 5 star was because they do not hire enough people to staff. Every time I'm calling for an appointment they say I'm the only one working here. You're losing out on potential business because there are so many hair salons in the area but if I can't get an appointment when I need it, I'll go elsewhere.

Was a client back in until she canceled my appointment min before it was schedule and it was around time so I did not have time to reschedule it. Here it is so I decided to try again. My appointment was for am, I waited until : and she didn’t show up. I confirmed online the day before.

I had a wonderful first experience here! The owner got me in very last minute which was very kind. And she got the color better than any other hair dresser I’ve ever had! It came out perfect! It’s a very relaxing environment inside the salon. I will definitely be returning

This Ulta is by far my favorite. They don't always have the stock amount of some of the other stores. I like to believe its because people like this location as much as I do. The employees are so helpful, returns are generally a smooth process (not that I return much - but with COVID and the inability to swatch products, its soo nice to know they'll help you out. The store is always clean and I am generally sucked in by a sale/promotion so I would say marketing is successful!

I have been using Basically Butter Natural Care products since about . I started with the KRAK hair oil... which is one of my favorites. I use it every other day on me and my daughter's hair. I've got almost everyone in my family hooked. It's Awesome and it only takes a little to do a lot. I also Love the KRAK Body Butter. I've stopped using any other lotion or oil on my skin. This stuff is Amazing and it really is All natural I've seen my body Butter melt and solidify with the temp in my house and it still works the same. I love it!

This salon is top-notch. Every person working here is very kind and caring. I'm not the only one who goes here, my husband does too. Our stylist Haley is very experienced and knowledgeable. So are all the other stylists who work here. The products are the best for my hair. Haley puts on high-lites and low-lites to add dimensions and beautiful colour to my own natural colour. She listens to my concerns and has given me the best products to buy to take care of my hair. She trims/cuts hair to the way both my husband and I like for ourselves. When I leave the salon, after Haley has worked her magic, I feel like a million dollars, no matter how tough the day may have been going before I arrived at the salon. The women who are at the counter when we walk in are always so welcoming & helpful! This is our go-to place for great hair!

McKenzie is awesome!!! She took my mother’s dark hair to a natural grey for lower Maintainence and it looks stunning!!!

HIlary Key is a hair goddess sent from heaven. I first found Salon after moving to Matthews, because they were the ONLY salon in the area willing to let me get in last minute (I was literally flying out of the country the next day). In this glorious opportunity is where God placed Hilary Key as my hair stylist. She did a cut (trim) and color on my hair which I LOVED. Fast forward 6 months and I called to make another appointment ready to make a drastic hair change. I have had long hair my entire life, and yet i was ready for a chop. Hilary was thrilled and made me even more excited for the dramatic change! She listened to exactly what I had in mind, patiently scrolled through the photos I had saved on my phone, and made the C - U - T. It was magical. She is so attentive in every step of the process. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This establishment is a step above the rest. White glove service in a world class environment. The staff is warm and engaging with amenities to cover every generation. They have truly made the barbershop an experience you'll never forget.

I have started going to Christina here at the Hair Lounge- she is really great and friendly. I decided to bring my 6-year-old daughter to her to get her hair cut as well, and it was a great experience!! Her hair turned out beautifully and the price is perfect! I will be coming back to get an ombré and hope to post pics of that too!

I can tell you first hand that this business is hit or miss. Not all employees are held to the same standard. Some do better work than others or are allowed to mistreat customers and other employees and still remain gainfully employed because of how “good” their work is. Some stylists are sweet and kind but trust me, your complaints fall on deaf ears since the stylist run the owner and not the other way around. They tried to bully the old receptionist, the only thing that was garnering them positive reviews in the first place.

I went to Ulta today to buy a face cleanser and I was helped by Heba and she suggested an amazing cleanser and she also treated me like a queen and showed me new products and she used them on me and I’m so happy for her help. She made my day.
