Here is a review from an user.
I stopped in for the first time a few days go. It's a smaller than average guitar store by square foot but they had a lot of guitars. What really impressed me was every guitar that I picked up was in better than new condition. Super clean not a smudge on any guitarthat I looked at. They were all perfectly in tune and had a good setup. Every guitar I played had nice low action with no string buzzing. Someone spends a great deal of time keeping these guitars in showroom condition and in tune. Nothing like what you see in the other guitar stores. And the prices were very competitive.
Special thank you to this Guitar Center and the guys working there, Nate, Jerome, Dan & Jacob, thanks to them, I had the most excellent customer service experience not only at guitar center but from anywhere else I been to in retail as of late! Not only did they answer all my questions I had about gear & guitars, but where able to help me find everything I was looking for to obtain for my personal guitar playing needs!!! I've also never had a bad experience at this store which makes it worth the long drive I take to shop there!!! Thanks again, I'll be back for more gear soon!!!
I acquired a Gibson J that was found in an attic in royal oak. The guitar had so many cracks and loose bracing I was worried it might be too far gone. Andy completely restored and rescued the guitar while perfectly preserving its patina and charm and it is now the best player I own. I cant put it down. Being a craftsman myself, when I saw Andy's workshop I knew the guitar was in the right hands. This man is a highly skilled artisan. Many thanks to Andy, and to Aaron for the referral. These guys are friendly, accommodating and highly professional.
I've been going to Gordy for more than years. Always fair and honest. Great workmanship. His tech set up my Washburn, Tele and Les Paul recently. For my Washburn they actually rewound my pick up because it was an unusual finish and a replacement would have looked horrible. I bought a sweet hardshell for my Tele and 3 gig bags. Also 4 straps. Great prices and just an all around great place to bring your guitar. Also a great place to buy great gear. You need to call this man and give him your business.
Great place to ask questions, and see equipment first hand. Staff always is knowledgeable and helpful. I always go here to compare with online products and make the best decision. Surprisingly personal for a larger box store.
I highly recommend Music Maker Studio! The teachers are wonderful and caring. When they are ready, kids taking all different lessons, come together to play awesome, live shows, usually for charity. I have two children in the program an experienced drummer and a just starting out piano player, and they love it. So happy to be a part of the Music Maker family!!!
absolutely best experience i ever had she made me feel really comfortable and at home couldn’t have asked for better service. could probably clean her house a little better but it is what it is. she tried
Huge shout out to Dave and Lauren. My daughter has been playing a ukulele at school and wanted to save up for her own. Big learning moment for her as we talked in the car about why we shop local and what it means to the community, but also how local shops have genuine passion and will take care of you when you need it. Found Rock City on Google and drove right over. They were so patient with my daughter, who’s working on her shyness. I couldn’t have been more proud of her, and I am so appreciative of the awesome staff. We will be in soon for lessons! New customer for life. Cheers!
Hidden among the narrow streets of Eastern Market, I stumbled upon this unique music theamed shop. Harboring a nice mix of musical instruments, both familiar and unusual, and music inspired gifts, this is a great place to wander around. A side Rome serves as a mini- studio, complete with a drum set, amps, mics, and percussion instruments. Local musicians often drop in for impromptu jam sessions. The proprietor is a friendly, and visible host, with his adorable sidekick, Sault at his side to greet visitors. I look forward to returning often, just to see what's going on...check it out!
Overall very satisfied! He had what I was looking for at a price that seemed reasonable. I am personally a quick shopper and he did not waste my time. He answered my questions clearly and gave me an option when I would ask for one. I would visit again.
First time coming here, Mike was eager to help me get started. He didn’t push expensive equipment, but quality tools that I would need. He was very helpful in pointing me in which direction to start my learning, hope to be taking weekly lessons soon.
A great place for beginners to buy their guitar. Mitch is very knowledgeable and recommended a guitar based on my preference and ability. Price is very reasonable.
The Guitar Center is the only place I shop for my gear. As a multi instrumentalist, producer song writer/Artist I spend quite a bit of money here. Helpful and knowledgeable and when it comes to the younger generation getting into music they need a place to go to feel the energy! To see first hand! To touch, feel and hear the instruments! No online music store can give that. I drive an hour and a half to get there and if I am on the road that's where I stop to feel like a kid again! Thank You Guitar Center! Holland Finch
