Grocery Stores near me in Austin, Texas, US.

"Great place to grab a quick lunch. The rice balls 🍙 are awesome! They have a nice variety for vegetarians as well! They also have a good selection of Japanese goods. Groceries, sake, candy and a few home goods."

"If you are scanning through Google maps looking for butcher’s services stop now and head in to Texas Beef Traders. I recently needed some quality beef tallow for a new technique for cold smoking steaks. I popped into the shop and was met by a very knowledgeable and helpful individual, Shea Dow. The staff here are very knowledgeable about the cuts and what to do with them. When you buy from Texas Beef Traders, you are getting Local Texas Beef and I can attest to the quality of the cuts. Our menu called for bone marrow appetizers which came precut (long ways so you can serve in the bone rather than medallions) and wrapped. After all nothing kills your appetite like losing a finger or two to a band saw trying to cut your own. Our next requirement was a collection of steaks according to taste. My wife and mother wanted fillets and my father and I wanted some tomahawks. All the meat here is dry aged and you can taste it in the final product. Rich reds and purples color these cuts and the quality of the source is readily apparent. No overly fatty cuts were present, and you get a great selection of sizes. If there is something you want that is more exotic just ask at the counter and they will take care of you. Prices are great, selection is on point, and quality through the roof."

"I was gifted the kao soi kit from SimpliThai and I am only barely exaggerating when I say it has changed my life. Thai food is my ultimate fave but somehow kao soi eluded my radar all these years! It is DELISH and so easy to make with their kit. The lemon noodles were unexpected but worked so well with the dish. I used tofu as the protein and also stir fried up some veg to enjoy with the broth and noodles. I have not stopped talking about these kits since I made this a week ago! Absolutely in love."

"I normally go there for snacks, milk and gas. But today it was just milk. I got in line waiting for the customer in front of me to finish his payment and I noticed him stepping aside to allow me to go first to pay since I only have a small bottle of milk. I make the payment and for the first time and I did not ask for a receipt since I have never had any serious problems with the store to need one. I took my milk and went to work. When I got home my wife asks me, "What did you spend at the Food Mart that was $46.51?" I had to think hard on what happened because i just got back from shopping at HEB not only got gas as well from them. I was confused. The next day I went back to the Food Mart and told the store clerk the situation because this time I do not have a receipt. He seem confused about it but he did remember what I bought (the milk) yesterday of that time period. He asked me when I bought it and luckily found a copy of the receipt! And on it there was 18 bags of ice from the previous customer who was in line before me yesterday and it wasnt cleared from the my purchase. The gentleman offers me store credit because it was the only way I could get any kind of money back. I sighed but I accepted it. It was my fault for not getting a receipt. Three days later I returned to the Food Mart to use some of my credit and the same store clerk flags me down and tells me Ican get a refund. I am grateful for him to do that because there are some other stores that do not go as far help you when you dont have a receipt like the gentleman did, and I thank him for that."

"Justin Smith has been a customer of mine, and he was so kind to bring me some different teas to try! I love supporting local businesses and I love tea! I was thoroughly surprised and impressed with Walters Bay products! I’ve already made several orders to send to my family that also love good tea! Thank you for providing exceptionally satisfying products! And the packaging is so nice as well! I will no longer be buying tea from the grocery store and plan to continue my business here! So thank you Justin for your kindness and being so humble! And thank you for introducing me to Walters Bay! I love it!"

"Business hours and Open sign on the door say open till 8pm, it’s currently 5pm. Closed and non responsive to phone calls or messages to the number on the door. Drove 30min for Nepali spices just to have it be closed, horrible customer service."

"Good for everyday shopping. I've been here several times and never felt unsafe or had anyone ask me for money. I recommend."

"I definitely enjoyed my experience here, however the prices seem a little more than the same products at other stores. Understandable. I enjoyed speaking to the staff who recommended a wonderful Asian grocery store to visit during my quick vacation to Austin."

"I wish I found this place sooner, it's small and in the corner so easy to miss, depending on the angle it's hiding behind a tree. ☺️ they have a great selection and we're very friendly. This was also the best Passover variety I found so far! Will be coming back more often."

"Absolutely incredible. The best food a human can eat. Such an amazing curation of healthy food. I will be back"

"Edit: third time back in my week here. That is all ---------------------------------- Review just for prepared food: Oh my gooooodness this place is awesome. Onigiris, bento boxes, even ice cream are all amazing. Service is fantastic as well obviously. Prices are great. Workers are mainly all Japanese too and there are Japanese clientele as well. I'm from Boston and jealous we don't have a larger (or any really?) Japanese community to create all these wonderful foods D: Ah also, freezing their soft serve ice cream creates a new way to enjoy them (their soft serve is a must try). Removes the creamy texture but lets you enjoy them longer"

"Wow! Like a mini whole foods. Feels like an upscale European market. Great selection of high quality groceries. Electric Jellyfish on tap! Love the home made kale ceasar salad from the deli. Top notch spot!"

"Delicious and authentic. The ice cream tastes just like you're in Italy and the Tiramisu is to die for. Recommend making this stop or ordering for your next event. You wont be disappointed!!"

"My favorite convenience store! The owners are extremely nice and remember you. They have a wonderful selection of wine and craft beer. They hand write notes about their different wines and what makes them special. They also have a wine club if you want to be a regular shopper."
