I’ve lived downtown for many years and I can say this deli is one of the best I’ve ever been to. I love how clean and well-lit it is, how friendly the staff is, and how incredible of a food selection they have. They have every snack you could ever think of! I could live at this place. I personally love their beverage and chip selections, but they also make incredible sandwiches, wraps, and burritos. I’ve ordered almost everything on the menu but I keep coming back for a basic turkey sandwich because it’s the best I’ve had in the city. I love this place so much, I know you will too.

We tell EVERYONE we know to order the Biscuiterie de Provence cakes from Simply Gourmand. They are small cakes that come in a CAN, so are always fresh, and perfect when unexpected guests arrive. And if you think cakes in a can could not be good, think again. We love the chocolate, the orange and the lemon with whipped cream and fruit. They come well-wrapped, usually with a small candy thrown in. Such nice service, especially compared to other places these days! Merci, Simply Gourmand!

I'm totally obsessed with Rubarama and one spice in particular - John's Blend. I have really bad acid reflux and this spice is actually great to use sparingly on chicken and...potato chips!!! Sprinkle this on some UTZ original potato chips and thank me later, lol! It's amazing.

This place is amazing. The portions are big and always satisfying. they also have the random flavors of kit kats!

Max Delivery is the best online grocery delivery service in Manhattan!! I have been using them since the onset of the pandemic in April and have never been disappointed by their service. Their organic produce is of good quality and they always delivery on time. I particularly like how they bring some really good local produce and other stuff like french bakery - Balthazar, Murray’s gourmet cheese and Raffetto’s pasta. Kudos to Max Delivery and their staff for their outstanding service through the pandemic! Thank you!!

Malt & Mold is my favorite beer and cheese shop in Manhattan, although, to be fair, they carry so much more! They have a sandwich of the day, which are always perfection. Their cheese selection and cheese platters are incredible. (The Secret de Lys, a cows milk from France might be the best cheese I’ve ever had.) They carry everyday beers and specialty beers (like Goose Island Bourbon County Stout) and, if you’re so inclined, have a mug club! This is the perfect store to pick up quick food-related gifts or treat yourself. Let’s be honest - I typically treat myself! Word to the wise: Get the chocolate-covered corn nuts and thank me later! Truly a gem of a store and the owners, Kevin and Caitlin, are approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely nice people.

What a wonderful place! All kinds of excellent spices, frozen fruit purees, and other marvelous ingredients. The fruit powders are magical! Customer service was excellent. Highly recommend!!

Generously giving some feedback. Served $ cold pasta. When I brought it to the waiters attention his response was “oh I just took it out.” Not the defensive response I wanted to entertain. (With Kaspia Caviar coming to this neighborhood, you’d expect more pride to be taken into service) Also, they are way too casual in this location with very loud personal conversation on this day. It felt like I was in a Starbucks vs. A caviar bar. While I really enjoy the food here I do think there needs to be bit more attention placed on the customer service. Let me preface by saying this was not my first time at this restaurant. At least I should say it’s not consistent service. Because I’ve had good service in the past, hence why I was back. I’m disappointed with the experience I had today. The person who Greeted me was not attentive. I pretty much sat myself as he continued to fold napkins and wait until he was done with the entire process before coming to my table. That was very odd. Following, I ordered the pasta along with a sparkling rosé. Both were tasty but the pasta was definitely cold. Also there was a lot of conversation happening over my food as it was being prepared. That made me extremely uncomfortable. I guess the process isn’t to have a chef prepare the food, the same waiter who took my order was making the food but he was talking over it asking for instructions. I didn’t make the waiter aware although I continued to eat the dish I was letting him know that it was not prepared to a temperature that was enjoyable. I didn’t have time to just waste on having a new pasta dish made. Nor was it even offered as an option to me. He didn’t even suggest some thing else to ensure I had a complete enjoyable experience. Totally fine that I decided to continue eating the food given the lack of response however when the check came they presumptuously put an automatic gratuity into it. Before I even finished my drink he asked if I wanted the check. Mind you, there was literally no other customers in the restaurant. I didn’t come here to just hang out, I came here to enjoy my lunch. I made them aware so I could apply my own calculated gratuity. Which I did. And given the service I think was still considerably well. There is no added attention or concerned for fixing the issue with the cold pasta. I think everyone handled themselves poorly today. The service & cold pasta did not meet the caliber I expect from this restaurant. I’m still not OK with the entire situation.

Great hot sauces! Super flavorful. These are a staple at my apartment now and I've also given them away as gifts to family and friends. My favorites are West Side Red an Habanero Mango Salvation. I've also met the owner a few times, super nice guy.

What a GREAT experience for my yr old son. We spent the day in NYC and his one request was to find a cheese shop. Murray’s was recommended and I could not been more impressed with the staff. The young (black) man helping us showed us your hard cheeses and we tasted a few different ones. My son wanted to see ‘one with holes’ in it and the man said he knew exactly which one. It turns out my yr old very picky eater has a nose and taste buds for good cheese. He settled on the Challerhocker cheese. I was very impressed! THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL MEMORY AND EXPERIENCE!!

Awesome place for ANTHING pickled! We picked up some pickles for our trip back to Seattle and the boys did a tremendous job in "shrink wrapping" our bundles of joy. They arrived back safe and sound after the 3,-mile trip and not a drop of pickle juice was to be found in my checked luggage!! It's obvious that this is the GO-TO place in this area of town for the locals as there was a steady stream of regulars coming and going while I lingered and tried to take in ALL of the options available to me. We shall return EVERYTIME we are visiting NYC!

This place is excellent - went for the groceries stayed for the cafe ! The cafe has yummy ready food (croquettes with ibérico were divine !) and so convenient to have a selection of shoppable items as well !

Love British snacks and groceries. Went a bit crazy shopping here as I wanted everything. Picked up Cadburys, marmite, scone mix, crisps, fresh pork sausages which were very delicious, fresh mince pies and savory pies too. Will be back again.

The sandwich king of Kips Bay. All options are look tasty, but I’m a mortadella guy, so #4 The Italico it is. With onions and vinaigrette. Always trust a spot with Italian ladies sitting in front.

I am giving them five stars because the friendliness of the staff and their service-oriented attitude is noticebaly better than most delis and most establishments for that matter. I normally get a bacon, egg and cheese from them for breakfast and it is good quality and fast % of the time. I definitely recommend you go here. 🍳 🥓

The fish was excellent. The bagels were perfect. There was definitely some patience required to deal with the crowd but the food is great and the ambience is super fun and old-school. All the employees were very nice — don’t be shy about asking for details about the flavors of the different fish, the host at the door was happy to discuss in detail the different kinds of salmon and the sable and the other fish.

I'm helping my best friend organize her wedding and she wanted a tiered cake made entirely of cheese wheels, so off we went to Murrays. We were so warmly received by Francisco and tried a couple of things before settling on her three favorites. Fransisco was so kind and helpful, even in this busy terminal market and was happy to answer all of our questions. He went above and beyond and I can't wait to go back and place the order with him. An absolute pleasure!

This is a great family place. We go every year. The pumpkin pie spice, and sweet and spicy relish is the best. Be prepared to wait a while if you want some of the best apple cinnamon donuts.
