The owners are fantastic! Amazing foods, treats, the deli has fantastic meats, cheese, and fresh bread. So glad someone showed this hidden gem to me, it is the first of many trips I plan to make. ❤️
Yum! Unique sandwiches. Also tried the horseradish cheddar chips. Very good all around!
Lovely murals draw you in to this special place, where community and health thrive. The guy who owns and operates the place gives his full attention to “family” as he said I don’t like the term member you’re family when you come in here and support us. Almost all the food besides the veggies that are hard to get locally this time of year are from our region. The handmade noodles are to die for! They have a good selection of bulk foods and lots of cute non essentials and even a decent apothecary area to get all your loose herb needs filled. Vote with you money for local sustainable and community oriented food by visiting this location! They also provide double up bucks for SNAP benefit users. You can’t go wrong supporting this unique gem!
they have great guanciale and other varieties of cured meat. also love their sandwiches and jalapeño bacon and mac for takeout.
I love this small volume, smart and dynamic butcher shop. I visit this place every time I come into town so I can cook for my family. The staff is fantastic and the owners are great. I wish all butcher shops were as knowledgeable and willing to help with cooking prep and ideas. Also I love the mindset of local, sustainable, healthy animal care and meat production.
Nice, local spot for great cheese and the things that go with it. The shop can get very busy and the staff overwhelmed because of it. Patience is the key. The selection outdoes every large grocery chain (Whole Foods), and it's nice to keep your money in the neighborhood. The best part, tho, is that the folks who work here actually know cheese. You're not gonna get some cheese mouse here. It will be the cat who knows the cheese.
Deliciously curated by the owners! From the taste of their unique oils and balsamics, to the welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend stopping here. (You may test out as many oils and balsamics as you wish to find your taste) I was on a small visit from Florida and wanted to get my parents a gift since they love to cook. I ended up speaking with the owners and as soon as we got home, I used thier Walnut oil.( small enough for my carry on) I highly recommend! I will be ordering larger sizes online soon.
It was absolutely delicious. The bartender was absolutely gorgeous, and that has nothing to do with it but it is not a bad thing. 🤣😂 I had a Lemoncello Mojito and my partner and I shared the New Yorkese. It was fantastic! Got some chocolates to go. Also a cream puff and a Canolli but those might have been eaten in the car on the way home so no pictures to be had. Let me tell you though, I recommend.
Love the quality and local products. Burger nights during the summer are one of my favorite things. Great staff which is always very helpful. The pork rib chops are superb Can't recommend enough. Wish they had a location up north since I moved away from Uptown but I still try and get down to this store when in area.
