Great way to spend a day at the river. Beautiful scenery once we got to the Northern part of the river where the fishing were hanging out. Couldn't believe my eyes on the size of fish some other fishers on the boat caught (some being several feet), while mine was 1.5ft (0. m). Capt. Kirk, is an amazing guide and hones in on teaching true fishing techniques and factoids about fishing and Sacramento River spots. You can really tell he's passionate for fishing when you first meet eye-to-eye, but on the boat, he's like a kid - He loves every bit of fishing and loves to share his knowledge and fishing reports and records. Highly recommend Kirk at Cal Fishing Guides, he's a true professional and quality guide. I will definitely be back.

This was a great resource in the heart of our city back-in-the-day. I made a visit last week and was sad to see there was a massive reduction in their inventory. I only go here for fishing supplies. Unfortunately I had to hunt down another bait shop after leaving here just to find the supplies I needed. I hope they're not going out of business.

Great place to get your bait, it’s open early enough and to get where you need to be! I’m still trying to get my picture on the wall! Lol

Amazing place to shop. Ultra knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very helpful and patient. They make sure all options are explored so you leave with knowledge and not just a product.

Best place in sac for fishing gear. Service is great, employees always checking to see if you need help. Take returns with no hassle. Crazy huge selection of lures. Not as many reels right now, im sure due to the stupid pandemic. Over all, my favorite place to shop for tackle.
