There are so many trails and sights to see when walking the American River from Bannister Park or Sunrise Bridge. These two great blue herons were spectacular. Their nest was in a nearby tree.
Hidden gem in Sacramento County. Nice spot to go for a walk and watch the sunset. We frequently pack a dinner, feed the birds, watch beautiful sunsets with the wandering peacocks. Big pond to walk around while people fish and kids play. Great park for a fast or long getaway.
I love this place!! Great place to clear your mind!
Wonderful place for a day out with the family. Not crowded at all. Bring the boat and fishing poles.
Best time ever for a first fishing trip with my son Jayson. He caught the first trout within seconds of casting his line in the water. I do recommend taking the family. A very special place to make memories together.
New Rayann is best Charter boat in the Bay Area. Johnny will put you on the fish.
We had an amazing trip with Matt and Dan! Seriously incredible! We caught tons of big fish, including my wife who got her first ever trout on a fly- She brought in an inch bow! I’d give it ten stars if I could. Whether you are advanced or brand new, Matt Heron knows how to give you an incredible experience.
Beautiful sunset spot. Beautiful clear water. Nice beach. Culturally and geologically significant area. People love fishing here but I didn't catch anything.
May not be the best for big campers. But the super friendly staff and killer breakfast burritos make up for that. The definition of truckee local is show every time you walk in. Yes its close to the freeway, some noise depending on site, but the min walk to the river is great for your 4 legged friend! Who doesn't love a great breakfast burrito and kind people in the morning. Family owned and operated. It has that homely feel away from home.
Great family friendly hidden fishing spot. Sometimes busy, but it’s out of the way enough that it’s easy to take beginning fisherman to learn and not be in the way
Beautiful trail, lots of trees, birds, and rushing water
