We started off with the lobster bisque which was amazing. We then had the lobster and crab cakes as an appetizer which was the best tasting I have ever had. And my main course was the steak with salad some butter over the top. The steak was one of the best tasting I have ever had. He then brought us a dessert I believe it was a little piece of cheesecake and a chocolate cake which was excellent and I topped it off with a cappuccino. During the dinner I had three black Thai margaritas which were made to perfection. This restaurant is highly recommended. It is a bit expensive so strap in.
Food was delicious. Me and my family really enjoyed the quiet setting. The staff was very nice and friendly. I ordered the tilapia and broccoli . The garnish was perfect. The sorrel was very tasty. Definitely worth the price you get a great portion size of food . I would recommend this place. Especially if you love African food. I will be back to visit ! 😋😍
Visited The Charleston for the first time in December and I’m still thinking about what an incredible experience we had. While it was a bit awkward when we entered (no one was there to greet us and we had to inquire about checking in our coats), everything after those few moments more than add up for it. The food was INCREDIBLE. Not only was it visually beautiful, the flavors were outstanding. Every dish was better than the last. Would highly recommend the accompanying wine pairing - 3 courses were more than enough for me. I will most definitively be back.
My wife and I go here for date night anytime we can find a babysitter for the kids. We love the atmosphere, the ambiance, and most of all the food. La Scala is our go-to anytime we’re in the mood for Italian because no place else matches the menu. We always order the grilled Caesar salad to start off and the lobster special never disappoints. The sauce is so creamy and delicious we continue to eat far after we’re full just because the taste is out of this world. We’re moving to Florida soon and will miss this place for sure, but we’ll come back here anytime we come back to visit! 5 out of 5 stars
Extremely delicious. Outside my top 3 for steakhouses across the states, but I'd rank number 6 from all the cities across the US I have been. Outstanding service. Strongly made cocktails. Outstanding live music and loved the valet at no cost.
Made reservations online for our anniversary dinner. Was greeted at the door and offered coat service. Found the restaurant to be crowed, but it was loud upon this visit. We could barely hear ourselves or the manager or servers. They took a photo of us, which is a nice touch and keepsake. We were even given a anniversary card from the staff. We had the Tomahawk special with seafood added (shrimp and scallops). The meat was cooked to perfection, it was sad that our sides came out later and not at the same time as our steak. Everything was good. We chose, key lime pie and the creme brulee and coffee as our dessert, and was given truffles as a thank you gift. We will be back, but just wished our evening was spent in a quieter section of the restaurant.
If I could. I would give a ⭐ Excellent customer service!!! From the moment we went in until we left. I have friends from India and I'm a little familiar with the flavor from their authentic cuisine. The place has a nice vibe, it makes you feel at home. I was hesitant with what to pick so me and friends picked plates I have tried before to avoid going wrong 😅 It was a wonderful tasting experience. We shared appetizers and food and OMG, OMG we did not regret it and most likely will be returning soon. Samosa chat 🤤🤤🤤 boy, oh boy. Just by thinking about it, my mouth is watering. We also tried lamb Vindaloo, lamb curry and lamb Korma, of course we added Naan and garlic naan, there are no words to describe the amazing experience we had. Super fresh food and amazing customer service from all the employees working while we visited. Give it a try and let the flavors melt in your mouth 🤤🤤🤤😁 Definitely a favorite place added to my list.
Great experience start to finish. We enjoyed our walk around inner harbor to get to the restaurant. Had reservations and were greated and seated immediately upon arrival. Had a great window seat with views of the harbor. Ordered the crab dip for an appetizer, amazing and could have been a meal on its own. The blackened shrimp and grits was incredible as was the stuff shrimp with crab. The wine suggested did not disappoint. Service was exceptional. Highly recommend.
My guy and I celebrated his birthday here on Monday and I must say we both was very impressed with everything.. Everything was WONDERFUL!! We will come back again! Thank you to the entire team for making this day special for my guy!!❤️
We went for my son's birthday and the experience couldn't have been any better. The staff was extremely friendly and several of them wished him happy birthday. Plus our server went out of her way to make my kiddo feel special, as it was his first fine dining experience. Highly recommended, especially for special occasions.
Excellent food, nice ambiance. The food was really great. I had the chicken saffron and the rice with cranberries. The eggplant trio and the Persian ice cream were great also. The service was top. It is also reasonable in pricing. Highly recommended.
Second time back in 5 years. The service was good. The food was phenomenal! Its in a sort of hidden area but definitely worth checking out! Nice interior decor in the dining room area. My choice of dinner was the Seafood Trio which consisted of Fried Crab Cake, Fried Shrimp and Mashed Potatoes with Chicken Gravy.
Sullivan's-Baltimore, the clubby and posh steakhouse that was located next to the Inner Harbor and steps away from The Charm'tastic Mile has closed for good. Thank you, Sullivan's for your more than -year run in Charm City. They made a great steak and served a marvelous Manhattan. The Oyster Rockefeller were to die for!
Amazing! Our server Jeremy and Chef Jones made this birthday celebration a hit! The supervisor Juan came out to make my wife's beverage. The passion and knowledge he had for the Smoked Black Cherry Bourbon beverage was refreshing. The demonstration was beautiful. The Irish Whiskey Salmon "Chef's Special" was a HIT!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT DO AWAY WITH THIS. Reservations were seamless, service was great, staff was full of personality, and the restaurant was very diverse from staff to customers working in harmony. These are all very important to me. It was also clean, arranged comfortably, and spacious. The location was perfect and they allowed us to bring in our cake for storage and presenting with candles. They made the night so special without a hitch. We also appreciate the Chef coming out without being asked. We wanted to speak with him and he read our minds. The food was DELICIOUS! I CANNOT SAY THIS ENOUGH. This is our new spot so we can try the entire menu eventually!
Went for lunch after not going for a few years. I was amazed at the upgrades to the place. Very welcoming and upbeat. The menu is varied and priced reasonably. I had the Reuben. It was cooked perfectly, not too greasy, and the different ingredients were perfectly balanced. This is definitely on the list next time I want to watch the Ravens pull a win out of thin air. Elaine was attentive with us without being overbearing. You’ll have a lovely time here.
My family and I visited Sakoon the other day kind of on a whim. We were really glad that we did! You know how small mom & pop places can be hit or miss? This was truly a hit! The food was DELICIOUS and the staff was divine. They were super courteous and kind to my family especially my older grandmother who never tried Indian food before. They truly went above and beyond and even threw in some free Naan and desserts. We cannot wait to go back. I cannot say enough how amazing of an experience we had here. Try out Sakoon - you won't regret it!
Such good food and great portions. Plus wrapped well so it's still hot when you get it home. Definitely worth a visit!
You want a 5 star date night experience? You and everyone you know should try this place. Very clean very good service very VERY good food. The lighting was a 3 out of five but it is amazing. So RESERVE your table today.. YOU WONT BE SORRY!
We decided to try Bread & Circuses Bistro & Bar on Friday. It’s got a great atmosphere. We did not have to wait for a table, but I will make a reservation next time I go. The staff was very friendly. We had several of there specials, and they did not disappoint. The food had great flavor and was cooked to perfection. The fried oysters were probably the best fried oysters I have ever had. The filet was so tender and moist we could cut through it like butter. The highlight of the meal was our dessert. My fiancé and I decided to share the bread pudding. It was incredible. I can’t wait to go back. The menu had several things I want to try. I highly recommend this place. My only negative was that we did not get the bread at the beginning of the meal that we saw served to everyone else. It was ok we ate so much food we didn’t need the bread, but it looked good so I feel like I missed out a little.
My husband and I came here for an anniversary dinner after getting a coupon in the mail. The coupon was $ for a hibachi meal for 2. It included fried rice, noodles, soup, salad, vegetables, steak, shrimp, and chicken. We also ordered the shrimp tempura and gyoza. Then they even threw in a complimentary cheesecake slice for our anniversary. I was not a fan of the soup (and I usually love that type of soup at other hibachi places). Their salad dressing was also different from the typical ginger dressing, but I still enjoyed that. The shrimp tempura only came with 2 shrimp and some vegetables. It wasn't particularly good. Some of the veggies were too watery. Everything else we ordered was great though. We had so much food that we both ended up taking home a box that could be enough for lunch the next day. The cheesecake tasted great, but it was still a bit frozen, so it was more like ice cream. We still enjoyed it though. The atmosphere was pretty nice. The place seemed clean and we were seated away from others. Each party was sat at their own tables. So we essentially had our own private chef. It was a great experience. The service was very good too. Our chef and server were both friendly and quick. I would definitely recommend this place. Their food is pretty affordable compared to other hibachi places (with or without a coupon). So my husband and I will definitely be returning even if we have to pay full price.
