Here is a review from an user.
This place is awesome. They seem to have every tool, gadget etc imaginable. I rented a sod cutter and both Curt and Bob were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They showed me how to use the machine and offered helpful advice. While using the machine, a belt broke but I was able to bring it back, have it fixed and then finish my project with minimal time lost. Very impressed. I will definitely be going back for future rentals. Thanks guys
This place is awesome! They are very friendly and easy to deal with. Plus, their cat (Danny) is a sweet heart! The piece of equipment didn't work for what I needed and they didn't charge me at ALL! I will always use these guys since they are so easy to work with.
Got tires and equipment rental from here. The workers are very well at handling costumers.
These guys are great always helpful and nice.
Super service ànd after-sales service + always a quick response! Verhaeghe Products Belgium
Renting from Home Depot makes more sense than U-Haul. Depending on the distance of course. For minutes you will pay $ - including all fees. For U-Haul you have to add 0.¢ per mile and more fees. Rental process is very easy - show your driver's license and proof of insurance and your set. They don't push extra insurance - but it is available. Tip - rent AFTER your purchase is complete and ready to be loaded - process takes about minutes to complete and they count it against the time you're waiting.
After + years and well over $, per year and most recently a major addition in which Home Depot got even more, I will no longer do business with home depot. Here's why. I returned a rental item at 9: one evening during the week, minutes before the department closed. The counter person said that they could not process my payment of $ that was due since they shut down their cash register early. He said not to worry that he knew me, i was a good customer and that I could come in and pay the next time I was in. I told him that i was going to be traveling for the next several days and that i could not come in and make payment till the following weekend days later. He said not to worry and that it was only $ and as a good, regular customer he was not worried. About 6 days later I get a strange call from the accounst receivable department asking when I was going to make payment for the $. I say strange since I always paid for my rentals the day I returned them and have never owed Home Depot money. I told them what happened and they too said ok not a problem and I again told them when i would be back in the area and make payment. 2 days later i get another call this one more terse asking for payment again. I again explained what happened and they said ok that's fine. I came in as promised from day one, made payment for the $, checked to make sure everything was ok and left after purchasing another few hundred dollars. About 2 weeks later my wife then went to make another rental and the person said that we needed to provide a deposit, something that we have not been asked for in over 2+ years. The rental department manager Dave said that our account looked like it was purged and reset. Then we spoke to Store manager Ralph Galante who then said that he could do nothing. The tool rental manager confirmed as did the store manager that we were not required for a deposit on the previous rentals just a few weeks back yet said there was nothing he could do. I explained the situation and basically he said no deposit no rental. To say that i was angry at this point is an understatement. After years and 's of thousands of dollars spent with Home Depot they basically said too bad even though it was one of their employees that made the mistake that started all of this they did not take responsibility, did not try to rectify the situation they offered nothing. On the other hand, Lowes recently replaced a dishwasher we purchased from them that was almost 2 years old after we had some difficulty getting it serviced. Without an extended warranty or any warranty left on the unit, Lowes said bring it back and gave us a much better unit to make up for the 4 months that it took to get this resolved. To say that we were impressed is an understatement, they exceeded our expectations. Before this incident with Home Depot, we were happy to business with both. After this incident there is no decision to make Lowes cares about their customers, Home Depot only cares if you buy things from them.
Finally found the equipment that I was looking for, no one else had it (in my area) I got there and everyone was very helpful willing to help and test the machine before I take it, also impress with all the equipment they have, felt like a kid in a toy store.
Very good rental place there very acomadating and the staff is very nice and helpful.
