This Dollar General can honestly be a bit cluttered and messy looking at times. However, this is often the case when a DG is stuck in a Small Store Front like this with limited space, rather then a bigger stand alone store. But the Manager and Employee’s at this store are Super Friendly and professional do it’s one I like to shop at regardless.
I had made an appointment for a flu vaccine here. When I got there they did not believe that I had an appointment nor did they have my insurance in the system despite me putting in my insurance online. Then they said that I they did not take my insurance. This isn't true as its listed on the CVS website that they do, and I get my perscriptions from CVS. The phamarcy workers seem to be doing everything they can to avoid work.
These five stars are for Evan, the pharmacy tech. His bedside manner made our experience getting the CV- booster as pleasant as it could’ve been.
My prescription was called in at a.m. by the VA as an emergency prescription. Nearly three hours later, they knew nothing about it. The VA called them about it they said it would be ready by 1:. The pharmacist refused to fill it until after went to lunch. Almost an hour and a half later and I'm sitting in their wait area and was informed they hadn't got around to find lying the prescription. A five hour wait for a day supply of pills is insane.
Had me go back 3 different times. Went days without medicine just so the last time I went they could say it was their bad it was an easy over the counter I could grab myself.
Preventative medicine (vaccines) only works when there is high take up, and people get vaccines when they’re easy and available. Requiring an appointment when you’re near-empty puts people off, and policies like this are partially responsible for the length of the pandemic and the reemergence of long gone diseases like polio. Change your policy, or be more flexible around it. Do not recommend. CVS and Sam’s do walk ins without issue.
Worst customer service ever! Try to pick a different Walgreens!! You had to stand in line at the main checkout to get your photos... The line was backed people up and and I also had to pick up pharmacy. Ask the kid at the register if they could walk my photos To the pharmacy so I could have one Transaction But was told no. Even though there were 2 other cashier's standing behind the register doing nothing. I paid 1., then had to go stad in line behind 7 people at the pharmacy. I will not be attending this Walgreens again, and actually we'll probably go to CVS! Lost a really long customer! So sad to see all the other horrible reviews....Walgreens get your act together....there are other way better options out there!! :(
I initially made an appointment in advance, which was cancelled unexpectedly same day without an explanation. I’m assuming due to time since I was able to reschedule for minutes earlier. At check in, we are told her insurance would not cover the 2 vaccines her school requested last minute. When I asked why a courtesy call was not made, they stated they called number ending in , which I told them was our deceased mother’s phone number that I took off at the last appointment for the Covid vaccine. I showed them the automated appointment update texts I’d received so clearly my number was attached to her account. They then told me the “discount” price of ONE of the vaccines (meningitis?) was $!!!! I work in an express/urgent care, and I don’t think we have a single one that costs even close to that for self pay patients… Very disorganized and expensive, and a total waste of our time.
Drop ups packages on a regular basis. Normally deal with three different people. 2 of them are awesome! The third is terrible. She makes you feel as though you are bothering her, terrible customer service skills. Need to take a chill pill.
This place always have everything I need from a value store. I was in and out the staff was wonderful as usual. Sometimes you may walk into a big mess with them restocking shelves but that’s not a bad thing in my opinion! It just means they actually have a thriving business and need to keep restocking to meet our needs. ❤️
Horrible!! Don't make an appointment, it does nothing to help. Go to a different pharmacy for vaccines. I made an appointment for a flu shot at 7pm. I arrived ten minutes before my appointment. They didn't see me until 7:. I was told to sit and wait. My 8pm three people who had arrived after me all got seen, they gave me paperwork I had already filled out and told me to fill it out again. I decided to leave as I had wasted over an hour without being seen. Exceedingly disorganized and employees were unhelpful. Will not be ever going back.
I have always had a great experience at this pharmacy. My prescriptions are ready on time and correct. The pharmacy staff and the pharmacy manager ( I believe its Nancy) always greet me and make me feel very comfortable. I have never had to wait but a minute or two for my prescriptions. Thanks Walmart pharmacy.
Gave my son a faulty inhaler and expected me to pay for new one or jump through hoops to get it replaced by the manufacturer. Staff was quite rude about it. I will never refer anyone to them
Good location and friendly helpful staff. I have been shopping at Walgreens for many years. Back in the old days the pharmacist stood on very high wooden platform to be taller than the customers. They have always had special limited time items for sale. It was fun to go see what different items they had. We did not have the "Supper Stores" back in the old days.
I never shopped at Dollar General before moving to College Station. It's a great in and out trip when you only need a few things and don't want the hassle if the grocery store or Walmart. Competitive prices too.
Medicine was called in at 3: for my daughter and it is now 6:. When I called the first time, I was told the wait was an hour to an hour and a half. It is now 6:. I live an hour out of town. There is absolutely no reason it should take this long to pick up a medication.
Full disclosure: This review is slightly biased. I live nearby and just started working there two weeks ago. I've got to say that so far I'm pretty impressed. The manger, Jannise seems pretty cool and my other coworkers have all turned out to be pretty decent people too. I've actually been surprised at the variety and quality of products that are available and I think it might be cheaper to buy some of the things I get at Kroger; there instead.
But there was one worker there that gave us a mean look when went down a aisle she acted like we was in her way she didn't even smile and say excuse me. It wasn't a very atmosphere. 😡
