I called McDaniel Sewer & Drain for a second opinion. Anthony responded immediately with commitment to identifying the real issue. His integrity, trustworthiness and excellence were strongly demonstrated as he patiently persevered through roots until clearing the line. His sense of fairness went so far as to hold the previous plumber accountable and being flexible on his own pricing in compensation. He resolved the issue with excellence and integrity. This is a company of character. I will gladly recommend and hire McDaniel again.

We were helped out by Colin Bastys, and if the rest of the company is anything like him, then these are *definitely* the people to call. He came out on a Sunday morning, just a few hours after we called. He was extremely friendly, good-humored, and patient. Before we started work, he answered every question we had, and ran through every expected cost. And at every step along the way he made sure to explain what he was doing and why. But that’s not even the really impressive part. This guy literally spent several extra hours of his day working on a less-invasive solution for us, when he could have just ripped through the house, charged us more for the work, and been on his way faster. But they spent extra time earning less money to make us happy, without us even asking. We didn’t push for that solution or anything - he volunteered it as an option! And even when his part of the job was done and paid for, and the last part of the project was passed along to Craig C. (who was extremely effective and efficient, because again, these guys are great), Colin stayed on site to make sure the problem was resolved and we were happy. At the end of the day, they fixed the problem, spared us any disruptions, and came in exactly on budget. I don’t think we’ll ever call anyone else.

We had a three day heat pump installation, including ducts to the second story and piping placed in the basement ceiling. The whole team was efficient, thorough and knowledgeable. They had to pull down the vapor barrier and insulation, put ducts in a -year old house, install the motor in the yard in freezing cold and wet weather and answer myriad questions from me and my husband. They not only got it done, they put the whole house back to normal. They even vacuumed to make sure all the sheet metal and loose fiberglass was gone. It was a great experience. Jay and his team deserve a raise!

Impressive service from start to finish! Yvette took the call, Jordan reviewed the work, looked at photos of the prior repair and got a bid to me within hours. Jordan was clearly very experienced with my situation and knowledgeable, communicated well and explained the recommendations and pricing. Due to volume of the exterior service line leak they adjusted their schedule to take care of it quickly. From the first phone call to completed repair was 5 days from including a weekend. Called Friday, visit and bid Saturday, repaired Tuesday. During the repair Jordan explained all the steps, took photos for my reference and showed me the buried leak. The service was appropriately priced and as expected. Due to slope and access he had to hand dig, also required drilling concrete, replace an external to internal access line and a new shut off valve. He made clean, sensible dry wall cuts which will make repair easier, wore shoe covers and mask and cleaned up everything perfectly when he was done. He left no mixed junk when filling the hole (he took out junk found from the prior plumbers’ incomplete repair 4 years ago). I didn’t have to ask for any of this, he just did good work from start to to finish. Absolutely no issue. Impressive. I will use them again and have already referred friends. Kudos to all of you.

Thunderbird Plumbing had to connect an old cast iron pipe (which served the kitchen sink and washing machine) inside the garage under the foundation to a new 4 inch ft. pipe which involved jack hammering some of the garage floor, and out through the driveway. Cole and the guys worked extra hard to find the existing cast iron pipe and completed the work over 2 days. Area was cleaned up, back-filled, and gravel laid. No more worries about pipe backing up when using washing machine.

I hired these folks on two separate occasions in the past to replace a water heater and install a heat exchange vent so my pipe wont freeze again, and they were fairly priced, very prompt to reply, and generally great to deal with. Most recently, I got stuck trying to install a dishwasher and called for them to takeover. I ended up having Stephen spend at least a half an hour of his time on the phone with me, talking me through finishing it myself instead, telling what part i needed to get and what to do. This blew me away, very generous and helpful. The tech who installed my water heater and the office staff were all very friendly and professional on the previous occasions as well. Highly recommended.

The owner himself came out same day (for a small fee). He was efficient and personable. Offered good advice and made recommendations to purchase a new water heater with no pressure. Good honest business. Support Local!

Chris was super helpful in helping me repair my toilet. I had a loose bolt so I pulled the toilet off only to find that my flange was broken. Chris was able to come in the next day and help me repair the flange and get the toilet reinstalled. He had great communication the whole time letting me know what he could and could not fix since he is not a plumber. He worked fast and we were able to get the job done in an hour and prices were very fair. Had a great experience and would happily use again if needed.
