I happened to spot, by sheer luck, French Secret Pastry, while scouting for the perfect 1st birthday cake for our little one. And it was every bit worth it and more of what you would expect out of feeling lucky. Mahyah patiently worked with us to finalize the design and oh boy, did it turn out awesome! The flavor and freshness delighted us and all our guests could not stop raving about how good it was. Thank you Mahyah for creating a very special cake for our special occasion. Keep spreading joy. :) (Oh yes and the cup cakes too!)

This place soooo good! I had the classic with lime and pepino sorbet and it changed my life, but it is pricey. I'm not going to lie. It was about $7., and my daughter's specialty cup was $9. A true treat it was a well flavored with an excellent combo of chamoy and Tajin. Worth the stop if you like that kinda thing.

A Westfield e-mail invited me to a free açaí bowl grand opening, so I dropped by as the rest of UTC mall was opening and tried their peanut butter, granola, and blueberry One bowl. I love açaí bowls, and this one is definitely up to standards! I’ll be stopping by each time I pass through for Anthropologie!

A fun little place to get ice cream while out walking around shopping and having a nice day. Friendly super quick service and tasty treats! I couldn't finish mine and neither could my friend.

After a long day of work and now blood sugar levels dropping, I decided to stop and try this new ice cream place. It was quiet and clean with one customer ahead of me. I looked over the menu, noticing that they had both sweet and savory flavors. I tend to prefer sweeter things and so I ordered the blueberry goat cheese. Wasn’t sure how I would like it and I have to say it really surprised me with how creamy and flavorful this serving of ice cream was. I like the different options they had and I will definitely be back the first chance I get! Luckily, they are right between where I live and where I work 😜

Wow!! Owned by family, this is the place to come for delicious food. No joke! We ordered a Lefty's cheesesteak hoagie, curly fries, Garlic Parm and Salt Pepper wings, a chicken hoagie with cheese on the side....It was a feast! For sure we will be back when visiting next month if not sooner.

The cakes and truffles are all great and they don't skimp out on flavor or size. Jennifer is friendly and helped me out with my order. Can't go wrong asking her for some advice. She makes you feel welcome, like you've been coming to her shop forever. The shop offers unique flavors as well as tried and true. Some of the flavors offered (at the time of this review) ginger, raspberry, espresso, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, Jameson, rum, champagne, and more.

Stopped into this hidden treasure in Normal Heights to buy a birthday gift and boy did I fall in LOVE with EVERYTHING. The shop has a cute aray of colors and Lee whom I assume is the owner was so AMAZING!! She explained the desserts, the ingredients, and offered us a sample. Her personality and spirit were definitely what you expect, especially since when you look at the art work on the walls and the vibe of the store. She was PERFECT!! She engaged with my 8yr old who acts yrs old talking about unicorns. Lee was nice enough to place the items I purchased which were the Cacao Now, Mustang Bar, Key Lime Mini Hug Cake, Triple Berry Mini Hug Cake, in a custom bag and She tied a bow on the top. Since it was a birthday gift it was PERFECT. Upon leaving the store Lee gave us the punch card for when we return. My sister in law who's vegetarian ABSOULUTLEY LOVED her desserts and said she will be checking it out in the future. Thanks Lee for your recommendations and for being an overall SWEETHEART..People miss the concept of being human and nice. If your looking for AMAZING vegan, gluten free, desserts THIS IS THE PLACE. Swing by and get you something good. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Recently opened, serving Thai desserts, snacks, and drinks (it's no longer the old cafe/tea shop). The coffee is great, coconut cake is awesome, and the coconut ice cream with palm seed fruit is my favorite. You can also grab some Thai snacks that are on display. Great place with great people 😁

I recently attended one of Candy Loves classes and it was a lot of fun. The location is bright and beautiful and the classes are reasonably priced for all that was included. They had it all set up. A cotton candy machine, popcorn machine there was so much to do. I took my nephew and he had a blast he played with other kids and they all painted really cool things. The adults gathered and decorated cupcakes and had these delicious candy martini's. They were amazing. I will defiantly be attending another Candy Love class. It's a great time for any age and for the entire family.

First time trying out this place after being recommended to go. I love the cookies. Definitely gourmet. Price is a bit high for one cookie but they aren't small cookies. Wish they had more variety. My favorite was the hot chocolate cookie. Easy to order. Went inside inputted my order in the tablet and then waited for them to prepare and hang it over. In and out without a hassle.

The biggest problem that you will have here, is deciding which dessert to get. Everything looks super tasty. Forget about a diet when you go here, just indulge and enjoy.

Super delicious and very friendly staff! I had the burlap which is peanut butter/chocolate/coconut & another strawberry flavor which I forgot the name of. Really rad to see a spot like this retro-fit into an ice cream store. The branding and interior design is super on point and the ice cream was perfectly refreshing. Will certainly be coming back

This place was delicious! My family and I ate up everything. The service was phenomenal. We are visiting from New Mexico but if we come back to San Diego we will definitely be eating here again!

I come here a lot, usually for some frozen yogurt, but their pitaya bowls are good too. Always have plenty experiences, but this last top was top notch! The nice girl Jessica actually remembered my name and face from a recent grub hub order, and it blew me away. That’s good service! Nicely job. Give her a raise (and all the staff, they work hard!)

Pretty crowded for a Sunday night. Outside seating with the heaters was a nice option for people watching. Some of the best ice cream I’ve had. I like this place better than Maggie’s on Coronado (I think that the name). I got the s’mores and a scoop of blueberry cheesecake, both were outstanding. Can’t wait to come back with my family. Thanks for the good dessert.

I just had my first visit and it definitely won't be the last! The food is awesome! I had an Italian sandwich. The bread is delicious, meats, cheeses, and veggies are all crisp, fresh, and portioned nicely, and they made it lightning fast! I joined 3 friends who were equally pleased with their meal and we all agreed that Hungry Lu's was a win! Try it!
