"I had Made in House bookmarked since its opening, and it has become a go-to lunch spot. My first visit was in January, and I loved the food so much that I have returned 3 more times. Food: 5/5 Made in House is exceptional at executing simple food perfectly. When I say simple, I do not mean bland or boring. Instead, Made in House takes the best produce in a given season and prepares them in a way that highlights the freshness of the ingredient while elevating it with Korean flavors and preparations. Their Mom’s medley bibimbap exemplifies this because each vegetable in this veggie forward dish is treated with so much care and thought. I get excited thinking about the bibimbap’s crisp, lightly battered kale tempura and the al dente zucchini half moons. Over the course of my 4 visits, I have ordered the following: bibimbap with grilled garlic chicken, bibimbap with bulgogi ribeye, seafood stone pot bop, daily bento, bulgogi kimbap, avocado kimbap, and passionfruit spritzer. I personally love the Mom’s medley bibimbap and the bulgogi kimbap, but you really cannot go wrong with anything here. The food simply nourishes your body and your soul!"

"Best guilty pleasure lunch in downtown! Order online for a super quick and easy pickup during the lunch rush! I ordered the beef cheesesteak hoagie style with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onions, and it's the perfect combo of fresh and greasy happiness. The little side coleslaw was tasty but very wet, so if that's not your thing, you probably should avoid it. $12 for a huge sandwich in downtown is great, and I like taking it to-go and eating in Occidental Square."

"Extremely impressive Deli selection (expensive $$), and tons of imported Italian candies, pastas, and other common foods. Not only do they have a Deli to buy packaged meats and cheeses ; they also have a Deli that serves hot and cold sandwiches and pizza. We got one of the square cheese pizza slices. It was hot, crispy, and very good for a single pizza slice. Big portion. The sauce in particular was delicious. I wish there was more on there but that's a personal preference. The pepperoni and primo slices looked very tempting but I had to try the classic for the review. The next time I have my car in Seattle on a day trip I'll definitely be buying some speciality foods here!"

"Great little multicultural deli that has a long history in Seattle. Can be challenging to park here (out front) but we pop in and out in the middle of the day and calling ahead helps. Love, love, love their deli sandwiches! Also love to peruse and get things off the shelf like pickles, cookies, and cocoa mix. Great go-to place for holiday preparation."

"Take 5 is this amazing little neighborhood grocery store and deli that serves hot food. Their staff is always incredibly nice, they are dog friendly, and you can order ahead of time. Inside isn't too big, they have your bare necessities, but they have a little counter to eat at. There's always some specials going on, food takes about 5 to 10 minutes to make, and prices per portion size are pretty good. Their meatloaf and their Mac n cheese are definitely the two go-to's here."

"I just love it here. Food is great. The folks who work here are friendly and helpful. The wine is fantastic. They are very knowledgeable yet unassuming. Pick up some of the pita bread they sell for home next time you're in. It is great. Also, check out their wine club."

"Awesome Korean Fried Chicken! Better than BonChon and less expensive! There is a bit of a wait but they are fresh and juicy. Highly recommend. The "snow white" seasoning is really good too, onion and parmesan. Pair with some kombucha and your set. Edit 11/22: We attempted to go back for the delicious wings again but we're told that they don't start making the wings till 1:30pm. With a defined lunchtime this is sad news. Please consider having the fried chicken ready for lunch."

"So good! The store is small, so you generally order and wait outside while they make the sandwhich. It has always been really tasty, but they are often busy. Calling in your order may be preferred. They don't have an online website. Updated Menu (7/5/2021) Will update with photos later. Photos (from left to right) A12 floss Chicken A11 Duck A10 Lemongrass Tofu"

"It was our first time here, the cashier was awesome of giving us a run-through of their selections. I ordered the special, a bahn mi sandwich. It was OUT OF THIS WORLD!Definitely, nothing like any bahn mi I've ever had ( I love the authentic banh mi's also) This sandwich was just perfection. I couldn't put it down until it was gone. We also purchased a bag full of small extra meat cuts and that on its own was delicious. If you're a sandwich kinda gal, I highly reccomend this place."

"Oh man I wish I had discovered this place earlier...so I can always have their delicious, huge sandwiches when I need a quick but good breakfast in West Seattle. They have an expansive sandwich menu, from which I tried like Rosie's on my first visit and absolutely loved it. Portion is generous, ingredients feel fresh, tastes are great, very appetizing and satisfying. I had a customized sandwich the second time, but I think Rosie's is the real deal. Besides sandwiches (and ice ceam), you'll find all kinds of pantry items and provisions in the store. I got a bottle of peanut butter with espresso nibs, it's so good that I finished it in less than one week, haha."

"I'm a plumber building a tower a block away so I can't normally get there... wrong hours. I have walked by on the way home and always smelled the best smells. Turns out their hood exhaust is what I was smelling. Today I started late so I stopped in. WOW!!! Be hungry when you show up here!! I couldn't finish the sandwich but did try to eat all the potato salad... yea right! EVERYTHING was outstanding! The staff were wonderful. Give them a try if you are anywhere close... you will thank me 🙂 PS. I saw the sandwich and ate half before it occurred to me to take a pic 🤣🤣 Great food! Ron"
