This restaurant is wonderful! Service is wonderful and food is fantastic. Prices are reasonable. Oysters were so fresh and cleaned perfectly! Seafood boil is fantastic. We had the du jour sauce medium. 2 people shared an order of oysters and a combination pot for 3. We had enough left to take home for someone to eat for lunch or dinner tomorrow.
I’m afraid of my review because I don’t want you all to know about this spot. The service was great! Everything touched is so good. When you eating and your response is “ my God” with your eyes closed, you know what it’s about. On top of that my teenager said it’s good and tried everything but the dessert. He couldn’t because he was eating off of all the plates and ate his food. 1st time this has happened EVER. Lil Bit Nola is a winner for that one. I look forward to your growth. Another location or expanding the restaurant. This place is it!
Just a warning, this restaurant took the place of the robot spot. They do NOT have robots to serve you! Service was quick, and the food was sooooooo flavorful!!! Our waiter was so so nice! She even told us about different places to visit in the area. I definitely recommend going.
Tonight was my first experience at the restaurant and I am very very glad that my motorcycle ride ended up here. The staff was very engaging with those dining in. If I weren't tired of talking after a -hour shift in my dealership I would have enjoyed chiming in more. I'm familiar with shrimp po boys so I ordered that and a small cup of gumbo to try since I have not had that before. Very happy with the overall experience there and absolutely plan to visit again. I'm roughly minutes north of the restaurant and find every minute of the drive worth it.
It was a very cozy place. You are greeted by the bowling lanes when you walk in. The bar is nice & bright. I love the decor. The food was pretty good, I did NOT like the Mac & cheese. (It needs work) I would definitely visit again. The drinks were delicious!
*Compliments to the Chef, this restaurant's attempt to recapture the New Orleans hospitality down to the food was quite enjoyable. The staff was so great, from being greeted to seated, to bottle service, to menu recommendations.
This place is always amazing. Great food. Great vibe. Great drinks. Locally owned by good people. Splitting a few appetizers over cocktails with friends is pure magic.
My New Favorite Restaurant After a day of fishing my friend suggested that we stop at Backfin Blues Creole De Graw and I'm so glad he did. I had popcorn shrimp and a bowl of gumbo and my goodness it was excellent. Took some food home and the family liked it too. Next we had a family outing, visiting the Havre De Grace marina... so you know I took the family to lunch at the same place... they loved it! I had the boom boom shrimp along with shrimp & grits, they had a salad, the gumbo with everything and a shrimp po-boy. The food was delicious the service was great. We enjoyed Backfin Blues Creole De Graw and look forward to when we come back for more that good food.
I have been thinking a lot about trying this place out. I've been skeptical since I spent many years in Louisiana and Alabama. I pick the food up after work. The experience ordering has really surprised me though. I ordered online directly through the restaurant. Picked what time I'd be there to pick up my food. They obviously spent quite a bit of time on their website. My food was ready for me at 4pm as scheduled!! Their food was Amazing!!! Absolutely going back again.
Amazing. Jazz is so bubbly and Prince is great. All of the servers seem nice. I love the mostly R&B and partly rap/hip hop music that they play all the time. Food and drinks are always good.
The shrimp and grits are spectacular. My husband loved the crawfish. The hush puppies themselves are delicious, though I personally preferred them stand-alone instead of in the dip stuff they came in.
Yup, I went two nights in a row! The snapper is banging!!! Next night I tried the eggplant. You can order with or without meat I believe, I chose meat! The flavors of this food is amazing. I cannot wait to try something new next weekend...yes, I'll be RIGHT back! If you have an interest in delicious food prepared by amazing, happy people head online, call, or stop by to dine in to experience a delicious taste of Haiti 🇭🇹😋😀 P.S. Save me some beef soup and stop ordering it all LOL 💋
This place was remarkable. From atmosphere to music to food. OMG... The food was tantalizing, flavorful and complex. The drinks were just damn good. The cornbread. .. THE CORNBREAD!! We had the shrimp bowl, shrimp and grits with salmon and a Caesar salad. Definitely going back.
Momma wanted to support a black owned restaurant for her birthday and Cori’s Modern Kitchen + Bar did not disappoint! Atmosphere was relaxing and the food was delicious. Service was professional and friendly. Everyone enjoyed there meals. We will definitely be back.
Great food! Great drinks! Great Service! Great Vibe! Delicious Po Boys! The fresh cut fries, yum! But there's more, deep fried crab legs! Oh and the gumbo! Try a hurricane if you can weather the storm during crabs & karaoke!
